Honoring the Elements: Altar Guide 🕯✨

Setting up an altar dedicated to the elements is simple and effective! And what better way to show thanks for their presence in our lives than through your own personal shrine? The elements are a part of our everyday living, and assist heavily in our paths. Here are some simple additions you can incorporate into your own altar:

Earth: flowers, bones, sticks, herbs, leaves, crystals/stones of your choice 🌍

Air: incense sticks or cones, feathers, a wand, sage or palo santo 🌬

Fire: red, orange, or yellow candles (or any color!), a salt lamp or candle holder 🔥

Water: a chalice, bottle, or bowl of fresh water (or water collected from a lake/river/pond/ocean), shells, sea salt, something representative of the moon (to honor the tides) 💧

Spirit: a pentagram (drawn, molded, sewn, etc, or perhaps you have one that you’ve purchased), any object that is close to your heart and representative of you 🔮

(and don’t forget about figurines, small framed photos, or written notes of your choosing. personal touch is everything)!

These two will be the end of me. Almost done except for the base and Hidan’s clothing but phew… i fucked up the armature of my bois SO BADLY that i had to redo some things like 7 times :’D Also i will prolly sculpt them 600000 more times in the future because i love my bois. So if you hate this content you better immediatly run away because im now in naruto hell, yehaw!!

I feel so sorry for people who follow me because of very specific fandom based content only for me to switch the fandom one week later, but i have a lot of things i love!

🌿✨ Fairy Altar Tips! ✨🌿

hello loves! I wanted to make a short list of things to include in a springtime fairy altar. Spring has always made me feel drawn to their gentle magick, and i hope to obtain some of it in my own atmosphere. here are some simple things to include in your own fairy shrine:

♡ handfuls of soft grass (remember to say “thank you”)

♡ flat stones found around your neighborhood, either as they are or painted in pretty pastel colors

♡ small jars filled with fine glitter

♡ tiny crystals and tumble stones (rose quartz and tiger’s eye are lovely fairy-drawing choices, for example)

♡ a small mason jar or goblet of fresh water

♡ sticks you’ve found, either as they are or decorated with tied lace, pastel colored threads, acrylic paint, leaves, tied herbs, anything you’d see fit for a fairy wand ~

♡ tiny handwritten notes (write anything you wish)! anointed with flowery oils and placed under dried lemon/orange peels or in tiny jars

♡ fresh flowers of your choice (from the store or picked from nature - not somebody’s yard, unless you have permission)! ~

♡ rosemary, salt, lavender, and nutmeg in small pretty dishes or sprinkled around

♡ a little fairy/animal figurine (or a small photo of such)

happy spring! 🌦

🌹✨ Love Altar Tips ✨🌹

Here are some things you can include in an altar centered around love - this can be any kind of love! Create one out of self-adoration, a needed boost of confidence or a boost for a current relationship, or as an ode to a lover, friend, or family member. A love shrine is sure to make the atmosphere in the room extra dreamy.

• Rose hips, petals, scented candles, essential oils, incense, and/or a bouquet of them… You can never go wrong with roses of any kind!
• Pearls or diamonds to represent strength and beauty within the feeling of love.
• A love letter (to anyone! Even you)! It doesn’t have to be visible, either - if you like, fold it and tie it with a pretty ribbon, or leave a kiss mark on it.
• A statue, photo, or representation of Aphrodite, Goddess of Love. (Venus works well, too)!
• Candles in the standard “love” shades - baby pinks, bright crimsons, deep maroons, and soft whites.
• A jar or bottle to draw love - fill it with pink Himalayan salt, flower petals, rose-scented oil, rose thorns, jasmine, peppermint leaves, or lavender, for example.
• Rose water!
• Crystals such as rose quartz (the classic love stone), Jade (peace, harmony, and tranquility), or ruby (assists in protecting the heart from unnecessary suffering in love + encourages romance). • Any object you can think of that will strengthen and tie together your shrine - a photo, locket, figurine, trinket, etc that you are attached to and that has many of your unique energies within it! ♡

While exiting my car and preparing to walk home, I realized that the Ushijima Wakatoshi figurine that usually dangles from one of my handbag zips was missing. Cue panic as I immediately climbed back into my car and scoured it, upturning the cushions, random bags and files as I hoped against hope that the tiny figure might have fallen off in the car. The search yielded nothing but old, wadded-up tissues, some rogue coins and dust - there was no Ushijima to be found.

As dismayed as I was, I wasn’t too surprised - truth is, I hadn’t been paying attention, and thus had no idea when he might have been detached from the zip. And given how far my workplace was from my house, and all the places I had gone to, bag in tow, he could have fallen off anywhere. The loss was the final blow in a day plagued with small misfortunes, and it would be difficult to replace him, given how I had gotten him in the first place.

I was too tired to bawl, or do anything but sigh, feeling sad and sorry. I figured I’d check my workplace tomorrow, and if Ushijima wasn’t there, give up on finding him altogether. Such were the thoughts that ran through my head as I walked back home, a five-minute tromp from the main road to where my house was.

As I was passing by my neighbour’s house, I stopped. Squinted at a tiny blob on the side of the road. Walked a little closer. And holy crap, there was Ushiwaka-chan, loose screw and all, staring up at the sky beside my neighbour’s car.

Picking him up, he was not muddied or squashed at all, as clean and pristine has he had been when hanging on my bag. To put things in context, I only walk past that particular neighbour’s house twice in a day - when I leave my house at 6.30 a.m., and when I come home at 7 p.m./8 p.m. In short, this figurine had been lying out on the road for 12 hours.

Talk about a roller-coaster of emotions within a short span of time! I’m definitely considering this my May miracle, and once I finish writing this, I’m going to go Super-glue the screws (both of them) into Ushijima properly. I doubt he’ll wait as patiently for me a second time. xD

So excited to get this Jungle Dragon from WonderCon Anaheim 2017.   So pretty! So cute! 😍  I am now a fan of Safari Ltd and will be collecting their dragon figurines at future conventions (and crafts stores).
