Imagine all the female tributes on their period at the exact same time; some would be crying, some would be pleading to their sponsors to send chocolate, and others would actually go on a murderous rampage.
Hahaha I think being on your period in the arena might actually be an advantage, no one messes with a bitch on pms!
But the hygiene part would suck, I think that would suck period or not. Their underwear must get nasty! yuck.
What first got you interested in Harry Potter and The Hunger Games?
Harry Potter: My parents read the first book out loud to me every night before bed when I was in first grade. The books have always been a part of my life. I had a brief stint after the movie version of Chamber of Secrets came out where I didn’t like it (I was really just terrified of the movie) but I got interested again when I read the fourth book.
The Hunger Games: All my friends were always talking about it, especially Jessy, so I decided to try it out. Especially because I knew that Jennifer was going to be in the movie and I LOVE HER.
I remember learning about the different levels of government in grade 6 but nothing about the different political parties. I know the curriculum (for Alberta) has changed since then, and I believe there is a little more focus on politics in the high school curriculum.
