“And I’ve been telling Yuna… Let’s go to Zanarkand together! Let’s beat Sin! I told her all the things we could… we could… And all along, the whole time, I didn’t know anything! But Yuna, she’d… she’d just smile.”
Now that i am done sculpting the last commission piece and am awaiting feedback i finally had some time to go back to this one again, playing around with the museum aquarelle pencils and the delight of bright colors they can create :D (tho it being dark and the light butchered the colors…..lol)
Now that I thought about it I have to mention Summons.
Summons (Or Espers, GFs, Aeons, whatever each game wants to go with) are fantastic godlike entities with huge power, mostly used in battle but sometimes they have significant ties with their own games lore and world.
The fun thing about them is that a lot of them are recurring, the designs change but most of what makes each summon fun and recognizable is intact.
Like Shiva is always an ice goddess, Ifrit a fire beast, Bahamut is a non-elemental dragon, Titan is a strong earth based fella, Ramuh a lightning elemental with a fantastic beard, Leviathan a water serpent, there are many more that show up a lot but these are the first ones to pop into my head.
They are usually based on various mythologies from different cultures, if the names weren’t obvious enough, but within the worlds of FF seem to have taken on their own kinda vibes.
You’d probably hear a lot of different responses on peoples favourite summons, or which versions they like best, or sometimes you’ll find people who love one-off summons that don’t show up in many games at all, because that happens. (Personally I’m a Shiva and Diabolos fan, FFVIIIwhatup)
The reason I’m excited for XV is because of the summons that they’ve shown (Ramuh, Leviathan and Titan so far), they are absolutely jaw dropping and makes you wonder what on earth the rest will look like, will they all be on the same scale as Ramuh? (I would hope so, I want Shiva to be that epic please)
Given the fame of Frozen, and how much money it raked in the Box office, surpassing Lion King for most money gained before inflation (ergo making it Disney’s most successful film), it would be stupid of them not to include Frozen in KHIII to some degree. That being said, if there is a world based off Arendelle, Elsa needs to be a world Party Member. And if they can’t include a world based off the film for whatever reason, I’d want Elsa to be a summon like FF’s Shiva.
