So the wife is away visiting family so that can only mean one thing……Lamb. You see the wife isn’t crazy about Lamb, but I happen to love the little fluffy critter. So I took this opportunity to whip myself up a some juicy lamb burgers.
Pistachio Crusted Lamb Burger:
1 lb groung lamb
2 tbls ground pistachio
1 tbls oregano
1 tsp garlic salt
1 tsp of thyme
2 tbsp of crumbled Feta
Mix together the ground lamb, oregano, garlic salt, & thyme. Shake the lamb mixture in patties. Coat the patties in the ground pistachio.
Fire up the BBQ & begin to cook the burgers on medium heat so as to not to burn your pistachio coating. Cook for about 8 min and then flip the burgers. Once you’ve flipped the burgers, add the crumbled Feta to the the burger. Cook for another 6 - 8 or until a thermometer inserted reads 165d F.
Serve the burgers with your favourite spread and fresh red onion.
