MUCH ANTICIPATED ART AND MUSIC FESTIVAL COMES TO THE CRADLE OF AVIATION MUSEUM SEPTEMBER 11-13

July, 2015 (Garden City, NY) – From Friday September 11th through Sunday September 13th at Long Island’s Cradle of Aviation Museum, Charles Lindbergh Blvd, Garden City, NY 11530 you’ll be able to join international artists from Italy, Russia, Japan, China, Sweden, UK and more alongside thousands of art, music, and tattoo lovers as  Tattoo Lou Presents the United Ink Flight 915 Tattoo, Art and Music Festival sponsored by World Famous Tattoo Ink, NYZ Apocalypse, Tattoo Goo, Clean slate Laser, and Inked Magazine!
Browse through 150 booths and meet 250 of the world’s best tattoo artists as Tattoo Lou and Jackie Rubino have personally traveled the world to find the cream of the crop to bring back to Long Island for this incredible event!

As tattoos have become more than a passing fad over the past decade; gone are the days of the “bikers have tattoos” mentality, replaced by those who look at tattoos and the tattoo culture as a way of life. Now, everyone from corporate lawyers to working moms proudly display their ink and are excited to offer up their body as a canvas for some of the world’s best artists in any medium.

Completely open to the public and to all ages, and with a wide variety of things to do for all, it’s the perfect day for the whole family. Our Live music sponsor, All Music’s Inc., will be showcasing some of the best local bands performing on our outside stage, there will also be plenty of contests, tattooing demonstrations, temporary tattoos for the kids in the awesome kids area, art exhibits and more!

Where else can you watch the world’s best artists pierce and tattoo, and if you’re in the market for new ink or piercings, let one of the globe’s most talented artists use your body as their newest canvas – right there on the spot!

Additionally, Sara Blades’ Artist Hanger exhibit  includes works from both local and international artists.

There’s plenty for the kids to do, too; United Ink will offer face painting (baby’s first tattoo!), airbrush tattoos, coloring, a flash art contest and more for the little tattoo fans in your life. The best part? Kids from 2 – 12 years of age enter the convention for half price and this includes full access to the museum!

Attending Artist’s Include:

Joey Tattoo of Spike TV’s “Tattoo Rescue”
Big Gus Ink of Spike TV’s “Tattoo Nightmares”
Jasmine Rodriguez of Spike TV’s “Tattoo Nightmares”

Canada’s acclaimed pop multi-instrumentalist Lights will be joining Lindsey Stirling for a string of tour dates beginning August 10th in San Diego and will follow that with a performance at Billboard’s Hot 100 Music Festival in Wantagh, NY at Jones Beach Theater.

Lights won the 2015 Juno award for ‘Best Pop Album Of The Year’ for her third and highest selling album to date, Little Machines, which includes hits like the “magnetic track” ’Running With The Boys’ and ’Same Sea.’ Go behind the scenes from the 'Same Sea’ video here. Recently, she was on a sold out headlining tour across Europe and the US in support of the album, opened for One Republic on their Canadian tour, and performed at Coachella in April.

Little Machines was produced and engineered by Drew Pearson, with key songs/singles mixed by Mark “Spike” Stent (Madonna, U2, Beyonce), and was recorded in both Los Angeles, CA and Vancouver, BC. The anthemic track, ’Up We Go,’ was described as her “biggest banger to date” by Noisey and Refinery29 named ’Portal’ “the wanderlust song of the summer.

Dresses available from www.sheenawears.com/dresses.html

Love both of these floral, bohemian dresses. Perfect for festival season, providing you’re not wading in a pool of mud!

Team them with round sunglasses, a big floppy sunhat, lots of bracelets, a long chain and Doctor Marten boots, wellies or gladiator sandals to add extra style. A finishing touch would be a tassled over the shoulder bag,
