Wet Forest Getting Vibrant As The Sun Burns Off The Fog
I’ve been missing humboldt a lot. Hiking in marin isn’t quite the same, but the forest always clears my head and activates my curiosity - even if the trees aren’t 350 tall and 2,000 years old. The upper section of the fern creek trail leading down into muir woods is about as stunning as it gets down here.
This is right up there with my favorite landscapes I’ve ever taken. I didn’t have a tripod but I was able to stabilize my camera on a wet piece of wood just long enough to capture this epic waterfall. It rarely gets this high, and it was much lower even an hour later when we came back up.
