A Perfect Storm Part 7

Rowena opens the door and greets the man on the other side. “Hello, Fergus.”

“Mother,” he says before stepping into the opulent penthouse suite.

“Do you have the items I requested?” she asks in her lilting voice.

“Yes, mother,” he grumbles, setting a bag on the table. “What the devil are you doing? These are very rare objects indeed.”

“No need to concern yourself, son,” she says as she lays the items on the table.

“Does it have something to do with the girl?” he asks.

“Aye,” she nods in affirmation.

“Then it does concern me. I’ll be staying.”

“Suit yourself, Fergus,” she says airily.

“Tell me, what is your angle, mother? You never help anyone unless it helps you.”

“Och, Fergus. Can’t I do something out of the goodness of my heart?” She arches an eyebrow at her son.

“You don’t have a heart,” he says mockingly.

“Aye, well then, true enough. There is something powerful at work here. I want to know what it is,” she says matter of fact.

“And use it to your benefit?”

“Naturally.”

How do you think they will structure the next season? Meaning which part of the book will be which episode?

Hadn’t really thought much about it….

Based on what we have seen that is included in filming episodes 1 & 2, I think those first 2 will cover Culloden, Lallybroch, Ardsmuir, with the coordinating 20th c search by Claire, Rog, and Bree, and apparently some kind of Frank Fiction flashback. Seems like quite a lot for only 2 eps but….

I think the upcoming block must include Young Ian and Joe, hence the announcements, and therefore Eps 3&4 will include the return and reunion. And the best part… Frank dying😏.

5&6 I think, then, will involve Lallybroch and the Janie’s Got A Gun Leghair getting trigger happy and that aftermath, the kidnapping and voyage across the sea through The Porpoise encounter.

7&8 The Porpoise, Claire jumping ship, Fergus getting married.

9&10 Arriving in Jamaica, The governor’s ball, I think maybe they may transplant the Geneva fiasco to here and reveal it in its entirety at once. The audience and Claire all finding out about it together.

11& 12 meeting the plantation mistress, that strange fire voodoo bit, leaving Jamaica.

13…. The cave, Finding Ian, the fleeing the authorities and arriving in Georgia.
