Pearl kinda confirmed what i didnt want to be confirmed. I wanted there NOT TO BE. A color coordination with diamonds. The color u are should not be the diamond ur made for. (Blue diamond shouldnt have all the blue sapphires) BUT it looks like the crewniverse are being boring and giving (yellow) topaz to YELLOW diamond and (blue) aquamarine to BLUE diamond. Its kinda cliche and expected but whatever
Finally finished designing school outfits for the Poths! :33

Forgive me if you've shared this already, but what does Vaderkin look like in Anabasis? I know you've talked about his scars, but what about clothes and hair?
*strolls in four months late with tea and an answer*
(For reference, Starlightify did a fantastic rendition of Anakin’s many scars here.)
In general terms, he looks closer to AOTC Anakin than ROTS Anakin.
As Vader he kept his hair quite short, but by the time of the main story he’s been in Jedi custody and hasn’t had a haircut
for a while, so it’s getting a bit long. (Still probably shorter than ROTS, though.)
Under the Empire he wore Sith black, of course, and in public he was always cloaked and hooded. His clothes were usually bulky and obscuring, designed to hide as well as to intimidate. People who interacted with him would be left with a sense of looming darkness, but wouldn’t be able to name any distinguishing features about his appearance. Nobody ever saw his face.
In Jedi custody, he wears a single layer of nondescript tan. Anakin thinks of this as prison clothes, and technically he’s right, but tbh the Jedi just dressed him in what they had to hand, which was the first layer of a Jedi uniform.
In the very beginning those prison clothes leave him feeling nervous and exposed. He’s used to having the protection of his hood and several obscuring layers. He’s not used to people seeing him. Master was always very adamant that he couldn’t be seen.
There’s no way to hide in the Jedi clothes. Which is of course the point.
And yes, that puts him on edge, but there’s also a certain thrill to it. Palpatine took his name and his face and made him a weapon, but Anakin gave his name to Padme and now he’s showing his face to the world. It’s terrifying and liberating at the same time.
The prison clothes aren’t a constant, though. The Jedi dress him in black again every time he’s taken to the Senate for a hearing, just in case the Senate needs to be reminded of what he is.
But if he had the choice, Anakin would probably still prefer black. For Tatooine reasons rather than Sith reasons (though there’s probably also a subconscious sense of comfort in familiarity). But the obscuring cloaks wouldn’t reappear.
Actually, given a choice, Anakin’s likely to dress in something pretty similar to Luke’s black ROTJ outfit.
