(The 3rd and 4th photos are of the Bobbi Brown BBU Palette - The 3rd photo is the Correctors/Concealers and the 4th is the Foundation Sticks)

MAC Cosmetics Pro Longwear Concealer - This concealer is most certainly long-wearing (I would say you have to work relatively quick with them as they do set). They come in a really good variety of colours for multiple skin tones and have excellent coverage. You can use them under the eye area but I personally prefer to use them on blemishes and other areas of the face.

Clinique Airbrush Concealer - The Airbrush Concealer is a personal favourite for brightening the under-eye area and using it as an under-eye concealer. I would say it is long-lasting when set with a small amount of powder and it also photographs really well too.

Laura Mercier Secret Camouflage Concealer - The Secret Camouflage Concealer is quite a dryer product, but has excellent coverage. To make it easier to work with (before application) I would recommend taking some of the product and apply it to the back of your hand or on a mixing plate, then mix it with your fingers or a brush. This way the product will heat up and become softer. Or if you still find that a little too dry/heavy, I would recommend mixing it with a small amount of moisturiser or a small amount of your foundation to make it even softer. It is super long-lasting and can be used under the eye area, on blemishes and on other areas of the face and body.

Bobbi Brown Creamy Concealers/Correctors - The Creamy Concealers and Correctors are brilliant. They come in a large variety of colours, they are easy to blend into the skin and they have really good coverage. (I definitely would recommend setting them with a powder as they are a cream product they will more than likely crease if not set) If you are a Beginner/Pro Make-up Artist or just a Make-up Addict I would highly recommend the BBU Palette, as it contains 13 shades of the Correctors and 14 shades of the Creamy Concealer and It also contains 20 shades of the Foundation Stick. It is fairly pricey at £190/$250, but this really has helped me so much especially when starting out, as you have every colour you could possibly need.

This has nothing to do with anything yet I feel compelled to share, this, what I can only describe as a monster…

I know that this has nothing to do with Mayans but the picture does make me think a lot about the end of the world.

This is what all the female robots will look like when the Robot Apocalypse comes.

The robots will use these android creatures to placate and milk us, for whatever purpose they find for our bodies, after their victory.

My Go-to Cream, Liquid and Powder Blush!

(Click the photo to see more!)

Chanel LE BLUSH CRÈME DE CHANEL (Cream Blush) - The Chanel cream blush has a Cream-to-Powder finish. They have an extremely smooth almost mousse like texture which is seriously irresistible! They are a remarkably blendable product, highly pigmented and are long-lasting! Overall, I think they are a beautiful product to work with and I couldn’t recommend them enough!

Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge for Lips and Cheeks - Personally I love multi-tasking cream products and in my opinion these are by far one of the best multi-use products out there. They are highly pigmented, blendable and long-wearing. (Whenever I use these, I always ensure to set them with a powder. This will help to pro-long their wear)

Burberry Fresh Glow Blush Sticks (Sheer) - The Fresh Glow Blush sticks are definitely more of a sheerer finish but if you are wanting that subtle dewy flush of colour then these are perfect! (They are made with over 50% water and have an instant refreshing cooling sensation when applied to the skin which is perfect for summer!). Also, as the pigmentation isn’t too strong I feel if you are someone who prefers a subtler approach to make-up or you are wanting to slowly introduce blush into your everyday look then you can’t go wrong with these.

Make Up For Ever HD Blush - These are by far one of the best cream blush products out there. They have a very smooth texture, are extremely blendable, long-wearing and have very good pigmentation. Once applied to the skin they look as-though you are blushing from within! They also feel very light when you are wearing them, as though they have become a second skin.

Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush - Extremely light on the skin and only a small amount of product is need for both cheeks. Super long-lasting and it looks as-though you are blushing from within and like the product has become one with the skin. It is highly pigmented and can be applied using your fingers or a brush. Daniel Sandler designed a brush specifically for the application of this product it is called the Daniel Sandler Waterbrush. (The majority of the time I prefer to apply this product using my fingers but if I do use a brush I either use the Daniel Sandler Waterbrush or the C427 Tapered Duo Fibre Blush Brush from Crown Brush)

Burberry Light Glow Powder Blush - The Light Glow Powder Blush are a highly pigmented and very blendable product. As they are very pigmented I would recommend applying them with a light hand and slowly building up the intensity, as it is always better to slowly build up the product than apply too much and have to start your make-up all over again! There is a fairly strong scent to them but I personally don’t mind the scent and once the blush is applied the smell does tend to fade after a little while.

bareMinerals READY Powder Blush - The bareMinerals READY Powder Blush are relatively new to me but as soon as I applied the product I fell in-love! It is most certainly long-lasting and has a smooth texture. They have great pigmentation and look beautiful on the skin.

Chanel Joues Contraste Powder Blush - I really do love the Joues Contraste they are super pigmented, blend exceptionally well, wears perfectly throughout the day and they photo-graph beautifully! They can be used to create a subtle glow or to create a more intense finish.

Illamasqua Powder Blush - These are an exceptionally pigmented product that are easy to blend on the skin, they also last really well throughout the day too. They have a smooth texture and a wide variety of colours to suit every skin tone and occasion.

Diorshow Iconic Overcurl + Diorshow Heat Curl

So…these are the first official products I am reviewing - finally. Sorry it’s taken me a while!

OK, some background. Unfortunately I have inherited practically non-existent lashes from my Chinese side which means I rely VERY heavily on mascara. I’m not a mascara snob, I try everything from high street to luxury products. Today I’ll be reviewing Diorshow Iconic Overcurl and Heat Curl, which I actually got together in a set. However, can’t seem to find the set any more but I’ll put links to the products at the bottom of this post.

Here is a before snap of my lamentable lashes:

As you can see, not much going on there at all.

Here is a snap of me wearing Diorshow Iconic Overcurl, one application. On the left I have used the Heat Curl on highest heat setting before applying mascara, on the right I haven’t used Heat Curl at all:

Lovely lashes. Will be honest though, I can’t tell the difference between the two and if anything it looks like I have more lift on my right eye?! What do you think? Regardless, I’m really impressed with the lift that this mascara has given me after just one super easy application.

And finally, a snap where I used Heat Curl on the lowest heat setting after applying mascara:

Nice!!! Maybe a bit spider-y but the length and curl on these lashes are AWESOME. As you can see, this mascara is not for you if you want mega volume. It does, however, do exactly what it says, and that is curl curl curl! Doesn’t cope too well if you try to do another application, but I think for a lovely, flirty, everyday look this mascara is perfect!

Apologies for the bushy brows, I really need to tame them.

For those who want to know, I’m wearing BareMinerals READY foundation in R170.
