I’m all for helping non mentally ill people learn and understand mental illness! But remember that you, as a mentally ill person, never have to go around educating people who hurt you or people like you.
You aren’t a walking “mental illness awareness” pamphlet and you shouldn’t be expected to give out personal information or arguments about yourself at any given time! You can if you want to, but you don’t have to if it makes you uncomfortable!
