featuring video games from the video games

The first and only PlayStation Store in the Sony Metreon, an $85 million ‘Urban Entertainment Complex’ opened in San Francisco on June 16, 1999. Though it did well initially (with plans to open eight more in various US cities), a decline in traffic over the years led to a major overhaul in 2012. This renovation removed most of the arcades and Sony stores, and converted the structure into a more generic mall/Target. (PS Store - 1999-2009)

From 1999: “The “PlayStation game bar,” where visitors can sample video games, is, predictably, a hit. Gamers can plop down at the bar, ask for any title from one of the preternaturally cheerful ‘Gametenders’ and play at the bar’s free monitors to their hearts’ content. So is the mini movie theater now displaying the awesomely detailed images to be featured on the Playstation II, Sony’s next game machine.”

Just a little something I noticed in Mark’s last video...

So normally in Mark’s videos, he adds a little side note, a subscribe link, the link of the game, his social media, and outro music. Take this example from his Wendigo video:

But in “Don’t Play This Game”’s video, he only featured an “I warned you…” like it was coming from the creator, along with the link to the game, as seen here:

I included from the title to “SHOW LESS” for some proof of nothing else. The links from social media and the outro music–the outro was also not in the video at all–are missing from the normally informal video.

I don’t know if this means anything at all, but I hope I am of some help to anyone trying to decode this data suddenly given to us. Enjoy your Easter Eggs~

SAN FRANCISCO — March 15, 2017 — Capcom, a leading worldwide developer and publisher of video games, today announced The Disney Afternoon Collection, a compilation of six games that feature beloved Disney TV characters from the 80s and 90s in fun-filled adventures. The beautifully restored classic games feature crisp 1080p HD support and include all-new modes that can be enjoyed by first-time players and long-time fans. The Disney Afternoon Collection will be available as a digital download across North America and Europe for $19.99 / £15.99 / €19.99 starting on April 18, 2017 on PlayStation®4 computer entertainment system, Xbox One and Windows PC.

Players will be able to relive their childhood afternoons with Disney and explore these pieces of gaming history with classics including:

  • Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers – This classic lets players team up with a friend in co-op play as they assume the roles of the mischievous Chip and Dale as they take on memorable villain Fat Cat and attempt to solve the mystery of a missing kitten.
  • Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2 – Fat Cat has escaped and his plans are even more dastardly this time. The titular heroes and supporting cast Monterey Jack, Gadget, and Zipper must stop Fat Cat from his evil dream of world domination!
  • Darkwing Duck – Play as the original caped crusader and fight a city full of criminals from the infamous F.O.W.L. organization in this action-packed platforming epic.
  • DuckTales – In this iconic platforming adventure, players help Scrooge McDuck fill his feathery pockets with vast riches from across the world.
  • DuckTales 2 – The sequel to the original game comes jam-packed with more action and an even bigger caper set in new locations like the Bermuda Triangle and Niagara Falls!
  • TaleSpin – Take to the skies as Baloo the bear navigates his plane through exotic and dangerous locations in this side-scrolling shoot-em-up.

All six games are new and improved HD versions of the originals and feature a number of filtering options that replicate a classic retro look and feel. This collection also offers new ways to play with Boss Rush and Time Attack modes for each game. In Boss Rush mode, players battle through challenging boss encounters consecutively, while Time Attack mode encourages time-based gameplay and provides online leaderboards that track the fastest times for each game. A new “Rewind” feature makes these challenging titles more accessible for newcomers, with the option to rewind time and enjoy a swift recovery from blunders. Additionally, the in-game Disney Museum will provide history buffs with a wealth of content to celebrate the era of the original releases, such as concept art, advertisements, character art, and music – all preserved in their original glory.

What You Need To Know About Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS

On September 21st, 2017, the Love Live! School Idol Project franchise announced on the Tokyo Game Show their newest and arguably most ambitious project to date: a new rhythm action game for mobile devices called Love Live! School Idol Festival ALL STARS (SIFAS). It is currently being developed with the idea that it will be “the greatest, best idol game”, and it should be released in Japan at some point in 2018. This game will be known as the successor to Love Live! School Idol Festival (SIF), while also building on SIF’s success. Here is what we know so far about SIFAS:

1. It will use CGI technology to allow nine people dance formations to be seen whilst playing a song, and it will also feature a new live show system. In additon to this, by using skills you will be able to evolve the idol’s performances and “create your own lives”. There is currently no information on this feature besides fan speculation. For a preview of the CGI models dancing, see the video below!

2. New, fully voiced main and side stories will be added to the game featuring μ’s, Aqours, and the new girls from Nijisaki Academy School Idol Club. These stories will overlap and deepen the plot of each of the series, and members from the groups will interact with each other. It has even been confirmed that μ’s and Aqours will meet! The tagline of these stories is “The Story We Realise With You”. Get a preview video of the characters of μ’s and Aqours talking about the project!

3. SIF will still play a major roll in SIFAS by connecting both games via the School Idol Festival ID system. Based on your rank and gameplay on the original system, you will receive bonuses in ALL STARS

So, that’s all we know for now! Stay tuned and excited!

March 23rd, 2016 || Full Circle

Many people may not recognize the significance of this day March 23rd, but for those of us who knew Blue, aka ‘Sakamakihouse’, this was the day that they left us.

For those who don’t know, Blue was a smart, dedicated, and hardworking person who created a blog called ‘Sakamakihouse’ to serve as an archive and a resource for everyone to use. Their blog contained months of meticulously translated routes, carefully compiled and neatly organized for quick reference. Before Blue came along, it was nearly impossible to find a place that contained ALL of the Sakamaki routes, Dark thru Ecstasy, All Endings, and extra content. Blue scoured the web to find routes from the first Diabolik Lovers game that were left unfinished by the previous translator, and they finished their noble work. Blue created a master list, the first ever complete walk-through guide (rather than summary) for DL game players, who wanted to enjoy the game, but could not understand Japanese. Blue also translated Vandead Carnival, Dark Fate, and Lunatic Parade. They never failed to be helpful even when they were busy.

Sadly, Blue’s translated work was taken, without their knowledge or consent, to be used as subtitles for the corresponding routes in Youtube videos.

Youtube has a feature that allows its users to earn money from the videos that its users upload onto their website. There is no way to know whether or not the feature is turned on, but Blue spent hours pouring their energy into translating, while someone was possibly making a profit off of their free work. Not only that, but Blue was also harassed for not bending to the ridiculous demands of some individuals who are particular (read: anal retentive) about the heroine’s name. In addition to the harassment, they were flooded with messages urging them to translate faster and more routes, treating Blue like a machine rather than a human. When Blue vented about this treatment on their own blog, they were harassed even more with unsympathetic responses. Everyone surely remembers this post

It was a combination of that and repeated use of their translations as subtitles, that drove Blue to close down their blog for good after they re-opened their blog and offered a second chance. We lost a great person, and those of us who were there will never forget.

I don’t know if Blue is still out there, but I just wanted to make a post to remember them, and many other translators (who have also left), and what they have done for the fans of Diabolik Lovers.

Hiya! May I request an nsfw where shinsou and his s/o are playing video games together and then it goes from there. Thank you!

So I’ve been super busy and I am so sorry so to make it up to y’all here is literally 5 pages of smut featuring a submissive Shinsou and more video game description than was technically necessary. If anyone wants to know yes they’re playing overwatch and yes Shinsou is a D.va main.

“Bullshit I was just about to use my ult!” Your boyfriend practically shouted as DEFEAT flashed across the tv screen in red. You glanced up from your laptop grinning at the sight of Shinsou holding his controller over his head without even realizing while his face was scrunched in anger.

“Sounds like someone’s a sore loser.” you couldn’t help but brag slightly, while Shinsou glared at you playfully.

“(Y/N) you just got lucky, if I’d had a few more seconds I would’ve cleared the point completely and you know it.”

“Prove it in the next game, Hitoshi, and then maybe I’ll believe you.” You laughed.

“Oh I will, and then I think we should play a different game.” it was an innocent enough sentence, but the tone of his voice and the slight smirk on his face changed the meaning drastically.

“Well, if I win, then you have to do everything I say for the rest of the afternoon.” you certainly weren’t one to back down from a challenge. The two of you chose characters and waited until the 30 second countdown finished and the doors opened for both teams.

A Really Long List of Recommended Music

I have been asked in the past to recommend Video Game OSTs, Movie OSTs, et cetera so I decided to make a huge masterpost of the songs I listen to when trying to study/relax/et cetera.

About This List:

It contains exactly 193 songs of varying background/styles. The vast majority of them are from video games and are thusly classical/orchestral. A few of them contain lyrics, some are 8-bit, some are a bit more techno. My goal was to provide a wide variety of songs that many may not know about.

I have included the composers, but not where the song is featured, simply because:
a) the video linked will include it’s source
b) I didn’t want to make the list any more ridiculously long than it is.

Please let me know if any of the links are broken!!!

Taraji P. Henson Joins ‘Ralph Breaks The Internet': D23 Expo

Disney Animation and star Sarah Silverman showed excited Disney fans the first footage for “Ralph Breaks The Internet,” the 2018 sequel of the video game-inspired “Wreck-It Ralph,” at the D23 Expo in Anaheim, featuring new cast addition Taraji P. Henson as a trend-setting internet maven.

Taking place six years after “Wreck-It Ralph,” “Ralph Breaks The Internet” will see John C. Reilly and Sarah Silverman return  as Ralph and Vanellope von Schweetz, with Jack McBrayer and Jane Lynch also returning as Fix-It Felix and Sgt. Calhoun. The story will take Ralph and Vanellope from video games to the Internet, as the pair explores a whole new world after a wi-fi router gets plugged into their arcade. Phil Johnston and “Zootopia” co-director Rich Moore are making the film.

The new trailer shows Vanellope and Ralph arrive in an internet server, where Ralph naively falls for tiny creatures who try to draw him in with pop-up ads. Fortunately, Vanellope is there to drag him away.

Silverman then presented never-before-seen footage featuring a new character called Yesss, voiced by Henson. Yesss is the head of a trendsetting website called Buzzaholic, and offers Ralph and Vanellope a tour of the site OhMyDisney.com, which will prominently feature both classic Disney characters and figures from the “Star Wars” and “Marvel” worlds that Disney picked up not long after the release of the first “Wreck-It Ralph.”

Vanellope ends up going off course and comes face-to-face with all the Disney princesses (voiced by their original voice actors) from Snow White and Ariel to Elsa and Moana.  They welcome her into their fold after she sympathizes with the same problem they all have: everyone thinks a big, strong man solved all their problems. Rapid fire references to every Disney movie quickly follow, along with a cameo from C-3PO, who hates that he was given the job of looking after princesses just because he dealt with another certain princess from a galaxy far, far away.

The D23 animation presentation was hosted by Walt Disney Studios Chairman Alan Horn and “Toy Story” director and Disney Animation/Pixar chief creative officer John Lasseter. Lasseter has served as head of Disney’s entire animation division since 2007, and is slated to direct Pixar’s “Toy Story 4,” due out 2019.

“Ralph Breaks the Internet: Wreck-It Ralph 2” will hit theaters November 21, 2018

I’ve wanted to do an art style challenge for ages, and I saw one on my dash recently, so I decided to do one, specifically a video game one, featuring one of my favourite video game characters (the one with the simplest design)

I can’t believe a character from the Bravely series hasn’t, as far as I know, been drawn in the series’ main style.

Watch Darren Criss & His Brother Chuck Dance Like No One's Watching in Computer Games' 'Every Single Night' Video
Darren Criss’ alt-pop band Computer Games released a music video for their track “Every Single Night” on Sunday (May 21).

Computer Games, Darren Criss’ alt-pop band with his brother Chuck, released a music video for their track “Every Single Night” on Sunday (May 21).

Reminiscent of Justin Bieber’s “Sorry” music video, Computer Games’ new video features the band and friends grooving against a solid-colored background in mouse suits, sequined mermaid tails, unicorn horns and more.

Darren Criss & Brother Chuck Talk New, ‘Unapologetically Fun’ Alt-Pop Project, Computer Games Throughout the video, the sibling duo wears turtleneck sweaters that look like they could have been borrowed from The Wiggles, but they fit in perfectly against everyone else’s crazy attire, including pirate costumes and a drummer with a baby doll strapped to his chest.

“Every Single Night” is featured on Computer Games’ debut EP, Lost Boys Life, which arrived in March 2017.

I made a video about the two main things I reckon are the most bad about Half-Life 2 - or at least, the two which have the largest impact on the game relative to the “size” of the actual feature. The dynamic resupply in particular is a simple system without far-reaching code tendrils, but which has an extreme impact on the entire game, from start to finish.

NCT as Youtubers

idk man i just felt like these fit really well with the boys (featuring sr16g)

-okay so first off i just want to say this is just my opinion and please don’t come for me if ur fave isn’t who you thought they would be

-lets begin

- johnny and ten would totally be a prank channel and its always a full blown war no one is safe even their apartment neighbors fear they might get dragged in by the odd duo

-haechan and chenle would be hella chismosos and have a drama channel always spilling tea and indirect people they are also bffs with ORL (lol just scroll)

-sr16g would be a collab channel similar to O2l (Our 2nd Life) but ORL (Our Rookie Life) with the girls posting videos with a theme each day of the week

-yuta is the wokest youtuber always calling out other channels or celebs bs he even makes conspiracy theory videos (Proof Mark from MarksAbsolutelyCapableGaming died and was replaced by a clone)

-winwin would somehow be featured in an ORL video and the fans liked him so much he ended up creating his own channel dedicated to beauty (haircare, makeup, skincare, etc.)

-jisung oh lord this lil boy would have a toy review channel but he also reviews games, foods, places, etc. and occasionally rants when the stores are sold out of a new plushie

-taeil and doyoung have a music channel where they do covers and will play music games like 1 second song challenge, whisper challenge, hum only, etc.

-taeyong is a lifestyle youtube who does hauls and goes to cafes he also enjoys making videos with his friends (Shopping in Myeong-dong with Sicheng from BeautyWinWins)

-jaehyun has a reaction channel and often over edits his videos like pewdiepie bc he thinks he is a meme lord he also does occasional gaming with MarksAbsolutelyCapableGaming which is just 10 minutes of them screaming at each other to revive one another

-mark does gaming and comedy and although his preferred method in winning is to “scream until the buttons listen” he is really shy at meet and greets and his comedy is mainly centered around bad puns that he makes on twitch with JungJaeOfficial

-jaemin has a lifestyle channel which mostly consists of vlogs and stationary (he has a HUGE collection jeno thinks he has a serious problem) but he is most well known for his boyfriend tags where he drags jeno in once a month to mess around

-kun has an art channel and is hella loved but only uploads once every 3 months and forgets he has an instagram 80% of the time

-hansol has an anime review channel but 50% of the time its actually him bashing on everything he wanted to happen instead and screaming at the producers for killing his favorite character (How Akame Ga Kill! SHOULD Have Ended) he is also friends with lots of other channels and often collabs with dancers on the dl because he uses a different name when dancing

-lucas and jungwoo have a baby channel maybe only like 1K but they upload hella quality so their fanbase is super dedicated they like to call themselves a mature channel but they literally uploaded a video called Becoming Fairy Princes and Finding the Love of Our Lives (it was halloween and they just handed out candy while petting every dog in sight)

-renjun has an art channel which mostly consists of him doodling and making videos like How to Be More Productive, The Best Watercolor Techniques, Where I Buy My Fineliners, etc he also does fashion like the artsy lil shit he is giving tips on how to thrift and where to go
