i'm thinking of applying to the animation workshop and my current school gives assignments for almost each subject and they are due 2-3 weeks later all at once, getting worse at Final Projects... but you said it's different than that in a previous ask? it sounds very weird/different, how are classes structured throughout a semester? like if most teachers rotate how many classes do you have at once usually, and how many assignments in total for all classes? just feeling mighty curious o:

you take one class at a time. you then have like 1-2 weeks on average to complete the assignment you’re given at that time. each class is a unit focusing on a different aspect of animation; eg. 2 weeks of interactive animation, 1 week of dialogue animation, 2 weeks of storyboard class, etc. there’ll be about 6-10 units per semester
