fear of open spaces

Friendly reminder that 1 in 84 or 3.2 million people in the USA suffer from Agoraphobia.

This includes but is not limited to fear of:
Using public transportation
Being in open spaces
Being enclosed in spaces
Standing in line or being in a crowd
Being outside of the home alone

So be nice to your friends who might ask you for help in one of these areas, don’t make fun of them for not wanting to go into Target alone or anything like that. Just be a bad ass safety buddy and help them get through fear/anxiety inducing situations, that’s what friends are for right?

Return - Part 15 - Jim Kirk

Part 1 / Part 2 / Part 3 / Part 4 / Part 5 / Part 6 / Part 7 / Part 8 / Part 9 / Part 10 / Part 11 / Part 12 / Part 13 / Part 14

Summary: series following the events of loot– takes place during events of star trek beyond. in this chapter, you tell Jim where you are.

Warnings: language

A/N: thank you to any and every person that read this story :))

Light and heat pouring in from the wide, uninhibited windows stirred Jim from his sleep the following morning. He opened his eyes slowly— a crack at first, then halfway as his heavy eyelids didn’t allow for more. He stretched his arm out, hoping to catch your waist or hip, but instead felt cold cotton sheets, free of creases, free of any sign that you’d been there just the night before.

He reached for your pillow, bringing it toward him and inhaling deeply. The scent of tea tree shampoo deeply imbued in the cotton fabric filled his lungs and told him the night was real. You were there, so beautifully tangled in him, so intoxicatingly warm around him, he needed the smell of you to remind him it wasn’t a dream, to assure him this wasn’t a nightmare when he saw the dress he’d removed from your body missing as well.

He sat up, letting the sheet below his chest pool around his hips. Bedroom door still wide open, he leaned to his left to peek down the connecting hall. He thought if he strained his hearing, he might hear you shuffling around, maybe the sound of water running in the shower or at the sink. He thought if he narrowed his eyes and focused enough, he might see you tiptoeing down the hall so as to not wake him. He thought if he called your name gently enough, you might find yourself back in his bed again.

Each avenue proved futile. There was no sound of water, no sight of your gentle footsteps, no feeling of the warmth of your skin. You were gone.

He climbed out of bed and pulled a clean pair of boxers on, slipping his arms through one of his dozen white t-shirts. He combed his fingers through his hair and pulled on the ends as he padded across the hardwood floors of the bedroom to the ensuite bathroom.

He stood at the counter, placing his hands on the edge several feet from one another. He stared at the basin, following it to the stainless steel of the faucet. He traced the shapes for a few moments with his gaze and sighed, lifting his head to meet the eyes of his reflection.

He thought his eyes must have been brighter a few hours back, only beginning the process of dimming the moment he felt the cold sheets— he didn’t think the blue could be this dull when he was looking at you, he didn’t want the blue to be this dull when he looked at you.

His eyes glazed over and the sight before him was a secondary, an unimportant stimulus as he thought about the night prior.

You seemed happy, you seemed to be on the same page he was. You were smiling in that small way that still managed to light up your eyes and wrinkle your nose, you laughed in that unmelodic, totally unflattering way that you only let yourself do when you were alone with him.

Maybe the unhappiness, the terror lied in the hitching of your breath, the flustering of your words, the shutting of your eyes each time he told you how much he loved you. Maybe you’d only asked to hear it once to determine if you actually felt the same, without the risk of him hurtling into open space and without the fear of disappointing him.

*Peter Hale* Young  Parrish

Peter Hale X  younger Girl

Requested: Yes/No

Plot: Peter finds an interest in Jordan’s younger sister after she’s been staying at Derek’s loft. He doesn’t notice his interest is anything romantic until Derek points it out.

Word Count: 1,723

A/N: not my gif as always, this is my spin on Peter Hale and a teenager having feeling for each other, kind of. found this in my draft, please ignore the mistakes because this isn’t edited. I felt like I needed to put something up for you guys.

my knees arched to the ceiling as my eyes followed the words of the book I’m currently reading. The black leather couch placed in the Hale’s loft formed around my figure perfectly. As if this love seat was made just for me and only me, but this wasn’t my couch and it never will be.

The whispered voices behind me let me lose focus quickly . My eyes still followed the words but my brain wasn’t taking in the information. my focus usually doesn’t leave a book too often, but when it does I’m still reading, but never holding onto the words I’m given.

Letting my shape shifting genes take over my hearing, Making their hushed tones be clearly hearable. By the way their voice had become slightly static I knew my body picked a bat’s hearing.

“It isn’t okay to stare.” The males voice dark and mysterious, instantly telling me the voice belonged to Derek. “I’m not staring, I’m observing.” The next voice is still male, but held power and slickness, pointing me to Peter Hale. Derek’s uncle. Who had given me cold shivers down my body,

“She’s younger than you, she’s even younger than me.” Derek had reminded him, Hearing what he was saying made my breath weaver a little. They took notice and immediately stopped their hushed whispers, I began to hum the lyrics to ‘Bad Liar by Selena Gomez’ lightly. Hopefully throwing them off my back and catching some words as I read the same sentence over and over again.

“She’s a shape shifter, should of known she can hear us.” Peter mumbled as I felt his eyes burn into my tender skin making my skin’s surface itch.

it was silence for few minutes as if the two attractive men behind me were having a silent conversation. I couldn’t help, but wonder what they were doing? since the topic was about me before and maybe still is.

“When were you gonna tell me you found out she was a shape shifter?” Derek asked amused with anger lacing his tone. Without even looking I could sense he had his arms crossed over his chest, flexing by the way he was speaking. “I didn’t really plan on it, your pack isn’t mine nephew.”  Peter said with such ease you’d think his words were water.

Huffing was the only thing I could hear before it was cut by the loft door sliding open. I closed the book In my hands and looked towards the door, seeing my older brother coming in like he’s been living here for ages. Relief was a blanket, wrapping around my body when I seen he’s in one piece.

I jumped to my feet in a hurry, throwing the book in a direction I didn’t care. running my way towards him and jumping into his arms, as he spun me a little all I thought about was we were both safe and together again.

After finding out he was a supernatural creature, Jordan wanted to keep his distance from me to see if he was any danger. I respected his wish and continued to stay at the hale house. He still hadn’t figured out how to control his new power. No one knew about the hellhound until Jordan, let alone know anything about his kind.

We’re both supernatural creature, but different in all ways possible. The thing that bites at me the most is, why aren’t we the same?

Jordan chuckled in my ear as he loosened his grip on me, getting me reach the ground once again. He smiled down at me as his green eyes sparkled, “God, I miss you being home with me, kiddo.” He mumbled out right before catch my head in his arm and kissing the crown of my head. I normally hated it and tried getting away, but right now I gave my mercy because I secretly missed it.

A small growl startled me to a gasp and whipping my head to the sound. Jordan’s hand pulled me closer to him, wrapping the rest of his arm around me protectively. Seeing glowing blue eyes only confused me because they belonged to Peter. He snarled and his claws became noticeable.

Derek growled louder than peter had, having his eyes glow bright red. Peter responded by retracting his canines and claws, but leaving his blue eyes to glow. Peter had been acting weird lately and I couldn’t help wonder what the hell was it?

“watch it Hale.” Jordan warned right before he shared a knowing look with Derek, what the hell was that?

“Watch it Parrish.” Peter warned back like this was some kind of down graded war they shared.

after the whole misunderstanding, or that’s what I thought it was anyways. It could of been something more, but I couldn’t catch what it was. Jordan had  decided to stay after I insisted on watching a few action movies with him.

He was a sucker for the Marvel movies and surprisingly so was I. usually I looked for the romance in them since that was more my movie genera. Though it was barely there, but besides that the movies were good.

About an hour in Peter hate joined us, Sitting beside me ratter closely. I glances at him seeing his already looking at me. He didn’t have the quickly look away most people had when I caught them looking at me. Instead he offered a genuine smile that could light up the dark sky outside. I flashed a small smile back, because for some reason his smile controlled me for a quick seconded.

I turned my attention back to the movie for a little while, until I felt Peter move beside me. feeling his right arm stretch behind me and rest on the back of the couch. I resisted the urge to scoot closer to his warm and inviting body.

I couldn’t help, but think was Peter into me? it’d explain the unnecessary protective  growling, the weird glances, letting me sleep in his bed. being nice, and the close proximity. I was half Peter’s age, or even more. It could just be in my head since he’s really attractive for his age.

Jordan huffed on the right of me causing me to come back to reality. In the corner of my eye I could see him glare to the other side of me, where Peter was. I felt Peter shrug easily almost bumping me in the process from how close he is to me. “I haven’t done anything, yet Hellhound.” Peter spoke as his were still stuck on the computer screen.

“All I’m saying is don’t even try.” Jordan retorted back, I rolled my eyes at the sound of Jordan’s voice. Recently him and Peter Haven’t been getting alone so well.

“enough, I’ve already dealt with you to do today.” Derek’s powerful voice raised over the TV’s loud sound to be heard. HIs voice was surprisingly calm as he was seated at the kitchen’s island looking over the city’s Activity. for some reason I felt as if that was my cue to head to bed.

A yawned as I stretched my stiff limbs letting them crack free, I started getting of the couch, “Where are you going?” Peter asked as I felt he’s familiar stare burn my back again. I turned to face him and almost melted at the sight of his clear blue eyes. Brushing him off I furrowed my eyebrows at him, “ I didn’t think it was a crime to get to bed alone.” I replied to his protective question.

I faced Jordan, “I’ll see you tomorrow in one piece?”  I asked with raised eyebrows. He chuckled and nodded, “Yes you will mom.” He replied back.

“Shut up loser and good night.” I said before walk off towards the staircase. “Night, I’ll see you in the morning” Derek called after. “Night Derek.” I said missing Peter like he was a closed window.

“You forgot about me!” Peter hollered once I almost concurred the stairs. “ No, I didn’t.” I yelled back and headed towards his room.

I woke up turning in my sheets, Peter’s sheets. A week ago Peter had offered his bed to me since Derek’s was down stairs in the open loft space. Open space wasn’t my scene, the fear of someone coming into the room still scared me. I liked the feeling of being safe while I slept in the night,  here I was tangled in Peter Hale’s sheets.

Most nights Peter would sleep on the couch he had in his room. Giving me the king sized bed, I didn’t know why he kept such distance, but I was glad he was at least in the room. I know it was pathetic to be frightened when you had power, but I hadn’t had it for long. I still remembered my fears even though I could easily protect myself.

The other nights Peter wasn’t on the couch, he found his way on the bed. Finally having the chance to end his constant back pain, he may be a werewolf but he wasn’t invisible. Waking up in the middle of the night told me by body could sense his body’s heat.

In the dark I found my way to his side, reaching my hand out until I felt his warm body. I snuggled into his side and rested my head on his chest. Listening to the calming beat of his heart.

A low groan erupted from his mouth, My eye widened in shock. He never had woken up when I got closer to him in the night. I was scared he’d catch me and turn his back to me and finding out I did it on purpose. I held my breath waiting from him to speak, bit after a few seconds nothing came and I was in the clear.

Or so I thought.

I could feel his arm wrap around me like it belonged their. He gently squezzed me and told me he was wake, I breathed again smelling his sweet vanilla scent. “Now this is what I wanted from the start.” He mumbled while his breath hit the surface on my skin sending shivers down my body again.

“Me too.” I smiled and snuggled closer into him finally letting the darkness take me for the rest of the night.

Elevators

(A/N): Is there a fear of open, blank spaces? If so I have that

"So Starbucks?“ Nat asks as she presses the close button on the elevator doors, closing you into the small space. You had always hated elevators, they were much to tiny for your liking plus they were so dangerous. What if one of the cables snapped? What if the gears stopped working? What if you but stuck? Or what if-

”(Y/N),“ Nat places a gentle hand on your shoulder, bringing you back to reality. You gulp, steadying your breathing as you turn to give her a small smile.

"Yeah Starbucks sounds great,” She gives you a smile, albeit hesitant, as she squeezes your shoulder.

"Starbucks it is,“ she allows her hand to slip from your shoulder down to your hand, grasping your clammy fingers gently. The touch was reassuring just slightly but enough that you could feel your heart rate slow down. Her thumbs run soothing circles over your knuckles, slowly but surely starting to calm your breathing when suddenly a loud crack fills the air and the elevator stalls, the lights flickering on and off before shutting down completely. “What the hell?” Nat lets go of your hand to walk to the buttons and repeatedly press on each one, trying to make the elevator work again. Not even the call button was working right now it looked like, it appeared you and Nat were stuck in the elevator together, in the dark, with no means of escape. “Shit,” Nat muttered as she pinched the bridge of her nose in aggravation at most, whereas you were lingering behind her gearing up for a full blown out panic attack. “I think the power went out,” She hits a few buttons, trying to make the elevator work but alas her attempts were futile, the machine spluttered and lurched down just a bit before stopping again. “Guess we’re gonna be stuck in here for a bit- (Y/N)?” Nat asks as she whips around to face you, your apparent heavy breathing grabbing her attention. “(Y/N), hey, are you alright?” You shake your head as the walls begin to close in, the four confining blockades getting closer and closer by the second, god, even the ceiling was dropping lower and lower, slowly starting to suffocate you.

“I can’t-” You whisper, your hands beginning to shake a bit. “I can’t breathe,” You mutter as you close your eyes, willing the horrible walls to go away. “Nat, I can’t breathe!” You grasp at your head, trying to block out the pounding that was beginning to surface there.

“Shit (Y/N),” Nat’s tone is concerned as she places her hands on your shoulders, grounding you to the moment just a bit. “What’s wrong? Why can’t you breathe?”

“The walls-” You gasp as your eyes shoot open, staring at the slowly closing walls once again. “They’re getting closer, they’re taking up all the oxygen- Nat I can’t breathe,” You feel a few tears slide down your cheeks as you fixate on the walls, each one slowly but surely inching towards you.

“Oh god,” Nat mutters, running a hand over your hair as she looks over you, more than concerned. “What can I do to make them stop (Y/N)? Tell me what to do,”

“I- I don’t know!” You sob, collapsing into her arms rather dramatically. If you hadn’t been panicking out of your mind right now you’d probably chide yourself for acting so foolishly but right now you were scared out of your mind and your only comfort was Nat.

“It’s okay (Y/N),” she attempts to soothe as she runs her hands over your hair, one hand tangled in your strands and the other clutched to your waist. “It’s okay, just focus on me okay? Don’t even look at the walls, got it?” You nod shakily, burrowing your tear stained face into her neck to avoid looking at the walls. “Oh baby,” She coos, coddling you like some child. “It’ll be okay, Tony’s gonna come get us real soon, I promise,” You nod, her words slowly but surely calming your rapid breathing and heart down. “Here, let’s sit on the floor, that way you don’t fall, yeah?” You nod as Nat maneuvers the two of you down, with you sitting upon her lap like a child, your head tucked in her neck as you squeeze your eyes shut. “It’ll be okay (Y/N),” She whispers, soothing you with gentle touches and soft kisses. “I promise,”

Find the Ride With Me Masterlist here!

It took the six riders another seven hours to reach Willow Spring. The rough terrain forced them to move cautiously, especially since some members of the fellowship had little experience with these kind of circumstances. Another reason for the slow time could very well be that you halted several times, simply gaping at the amazing panorama that stretched from either side of your vision. The views were absolutely breathtaking, you have never seen anything like it. Drops that give the fear of heights a new definition, wide open spaces that make you feel so small in this incredible world. Old volcanic remnants emerged from the depths of the earth more than a hundred thousand years ago and still stand tall today. African daisies and brittlebush decorate the grounds for miles, blossoming after last month’s rain. Red mountains surround them for as far as the eye can see, separated from each other by deep valleys. The epic proportions of the Superstition Mountains are difficult to grasp.

As you stood there on the ridge, it came to you that you and Joplin are crossing these lands together. It’s quite liberating, to move through an area so remote and left untouched by men. And to accomplish this together with your four-legged friend gave you a new definition of freedom. You felt like an explorer, a conqueror. No car could take you here, not even a tank or a helicopter would be able to get you over these boulders and through the narrow canyons. Only a horse can. You rest your wrist on the horn of the saddle, the reins loosely in between the fingers of you right hand. Joplin still speedwalks under you and you stopped attempting to slow her down hours ago. Apparently the dark mare does not wish to adapt her speed, even though you asked nicely a couple of times. Of course you could have made your point, but the argument, that would probably carry on for days, is not worth it. Where the little horse gets the energy to keep this up, you have no idea, but you are glad she’s a forward-thinker. Dragging a horse up this God forsaken mountain wouldn’t actually be a pleasure either.

I don’t understand life and I am afraid of it, my dear boy; I don’t know. Perhaps I am a morbid person, unhinged. It seems to a sound, healthy man that he understands everything he sees and hears, but that ‘seeming’ is lost to me, and from day to day I am poisoning myself with terror. There is a disease, the fear of open spaces, but my disease is the fear of life. When I lie on the grass and watch a little beetle which was born yesterday and understands nothing, it seems to me that its life consists of nothing else but fear, and in it I see myself.

Muscles and Promises

(A/N): Double whammy of horribleness! Whoo!

Pairings: WandaXReader

Request: The reader was a hydra’s soldier like bucky but she’s an avenger and she’s in love with wanda, but she’s scared bc of the things hydra did to her, lowkey bucky and tony playing the matchmaker. Also the reader is tiny but ridiculous strong and wanda kinda have a thing for her muscles.

(Y/N) had been in the same Winter Soldier program as Bucky, they were strong, powerful and feared. They were under Hydra’s control until the team found and rescued them strapped down in a warehouse. Like Bucky, it took some time for them to get used to not being a soldier for killing but thanks to Wanda it was easier. Since Wanda shared some of the same experiences, her and (Y/N) clicked immediately and they were inseparable. It was rare seeing them apart and the team always teased them about it but they knew it was a good for the both of them. They both finally had someone who cared for them deeply.

(Y/N) hid it well but they were in love with Wanda. It started off slow as a small crush but as they begin to get to know each other more, they found out their true feelings towards her and it terrified them. (Y/N) had been through a lot, torture, brainwashing, verbal and physical abuse and had their trust broken multiple times. They had a lot of PTSD about their time captured and were scared someone would try and manipulate them once again. It was stupid really, why would Wanda try to do that? She was nothing but kind but they pulled back afraid with the underlying fear of being controlled and hurt again.

It was a surprise to Wanda when (Y/N) stopped talking to her. They went from doing everything together to hardly having contact with them in a couple of days. No matter how hard she tried starting a conversation with them, they would simply brush her off with a one word answer before walking off. She was worried, she had never gone this long without them and she wondered if they were okay. She knew of their little episodes but they never lasted long and she began to feel depressed, thinking it was something she did.

Besides Wanda, Tony and Bucky were the next closest people to (Y/N) and they could plainly see their love for the brunet. They noticed how secluded (Y/N) was and how depressed Wanda was and they knew they needed to get them together. So, they got together and devised a plan to get the two alone together.

It was a late, rainy night when Tony told Wanda to meet him in the common room, despite her tiredness she obliges making her way there. When she enters, it’s completely silent and she becomes suspicious. She sees (Y/N) walk in and has the same confused look when the loud sound of the emergency doors shutting fills the room. Metal covers the doorways and immediately both run to a door, trying to get out before Tony comes on the intercom. “Sorry but you’re both stuck in there until you two figure out what’s going on.”

“What the hell, Tony! Get me out of here or I’ll break the door down! I’m telling, Bucky!” (Y/N) yells and all that is heard is a chuckle and their face drops when Bucky’s voice comes over the intercom.

“Sorry, (Y/N) but it had to be done. Have fun, short stack.” Then both men’s voices are gone and (Y/N) growls before angrily turning and punching the metal door causing the door to bend from the force, huge dent clearly present. They begin to pace the open room and Wanda notices how tense they are.

“Hey, are you okay?” Wanda questions cautiously not wanting to set them off and they stop pacing a moment to look at her and she notices how they are slightly shaking.

“Y-Yeah, I’m fine.” Wanda doesn’t believe them but before she can ask again, a flash of lightning covers the sky followed by a loud clap of thunder. (Y/N) jumps in fear before covering their ears and running to the nearest corner, curling in on themself. Wanda instantly runs to their side watching as they shake violently. “I can’t do this. I can’t do this. W-Wanda, I can’t do this!”

“Tell me what’s wrong. What can I do?” Wanda utters out in a panic not sure what to do.

“I-I have a fear of open spaces and storms. It reminds me of the time I was-I was with…” Wanda understands instantly as she scoops up their small body and pulls them onto her lap. They curl into her chest wishing the bad memories to go away and they close their eyes only focusing on Wanda. It doesn’t take long for their fears to melt away as the rain dies down and they focus on Wanda’s warm embrace. They begin to fiddle with the hem of their shirt before they speak so quietly Wanda almost misses it. “When I was with Hydra, I was told to trust no one and was beaten when I did but… I trust you and it scares me. I-I don’t want to get hurt again but I love you, Wanda, I fucking love you so much it hurts.”

Wanda’s heart shatters hearing their confession and she tightens her grip on them. “I know those men hurt you and I want to kill every single one of them but I want you to know, I would never hurt you, (Y/N). I love you and I will always love you no matter how broken you may be. I will always support you and I will protect you.” (Y/N) stares shocked at Wanda before quickly turning, wrapping their arms around her as a few tears slide down their cheek.

“Thank you.” Wanda smiles before hugging them back, giving a chuckle.

“No, thank you. I got to see you punch that metal door and damn you got some muscles.” (Y/N) laughs as they playfully hit her shoulder.

“You had to ruin the mood, didn’t you? You’re such a weirdo.” Wanda laughs as she pulls (Y/N) into her body, allowing them to curl up against her and Wanda vows, in that moment, she will never let anyone hurt her strong, small (Y/N) again and that’s a promise.

Monsters.

“I can take the next guest in line~” someone called, and everyone shuffled forward.

Your eyes darted side to side, keeping your head down as you waited for your turn, sandwiched between others and keeping your basket close to your body to avoid taking up too much space. It was just easier that way. Stay small, stay hidden. Don’t make eye contact and avoid conversation. You focused on the mother in front of you, her baby held in her arms and gazing at you with sleepy eyes.

Why… why did you feel this way?

Oh there is so many people with different weird but cool confessions. Mine is kinda stupid, but I have a huge fear of attraction parks. Especially when It's evening. Like all those lights, people and noise makes me feel dizzy and sick. And that's really weird to everyone else, because when I was younger I LOVED attraction parks.

Dude, this is not a competition!! Every weird confession is awesome in its own way! :D

About the parks: ME. TOO. I used to absolutely love visiting them and having fun and all but as I was growing up I started developing a fear of masses, loud noises and overall chaotic, open spaces. It sucks!

Night Terrors

Garfield stirred lightly in his sleep, the blanket of slumber that he so desperately clung to began to slip though his fingers like sand. Subconsciously he could feel his lavender laced dream running away with whatever form of reality he was currently in. As a last attempt to regain his sweet haze his body rolled over with a need for psychical contact, her psychical contact. Once positioned his hand dropped, only being met with the empty space beside him. With a large sigh his sweet slumber was gone, replaced with the realization that he was indeed alone.

“Right.” he mumbled to himself. “Patrol.“

With his sleepiness gone, he rose from his bed ignoring the empty feeling that grew in the pit of his stomach. He cursed his all wise leader, disproving the new rule that he had most recently put into place. No spousal patrol, meaning that those who had given their lives to one another could not partake in late night, inner city watch. The regulation in itself was not a terrible idea, after the birth of the newest Titans it was in retrospect a very wise decision but that didn’t mean he couldn’t despise it any less.

With a curse and a whimper he rose from his bed reluctant to leave its warmth. The cool night air washed over his green skin causing him to shiver as a response. His bare feet moved soundlessly across the carpet floor, nearing the door to the hallway. The liquid in his bladder swishing, conforming his need for release. With a wave of his hand, the door opened silently and in an instant he froze.

The copper smell that clung to the air stung his nose making him cringe in disgust. A wave of urgency washed over the changeling immediately, leaving whatever fears and concerns he had behind. With a simple step into the open space he was met with a wet puddle just outside. His body lowered itself towards the ground, touching the foreign substance with his finger. It’s thick consistency matched exactly what he had expected, conforming his fear.

It was blood.

His eyes soon adjusted to the darkness, inspecting the horror around him. The large puddle under him was one of many, whatever caused it was hurt and hurt badly. The trail lead down the hall towards the other rooms of the house, the space between each becoming more and more conformed that its pace had quickened and that was more alarming that anything. As he followed it’s trail the reality of where the injured was headed hit him like a truck. Everything melted away and the only thing he could see was his destination. His walk turned into a full sprint as he headed around the corner of the hall.

“No.” he whispered as he neared the opened door. Passing through the threshold he could feel every nerve that radiated fire into his soul. The nursery looked as if it had been untouched, every stuffed animal and toy in it’s rightful place while the mobile hummed the annoying Mozart melody that his wife forced onto their new born child. Its playful tune mocked him as he slowly neared the crib, he ignored the hammering of his heart as it painfully pounded itself against his ribs.

The sight of the empty space on the small mattress ripped through him like psychical pain. “Mal.” he whimpered, ignoring the animistic whine that erupted within him. His chest rose and fell quickly as adrenaline forced itself into his heart. “Marie!” Beast Boy yelled out of desperation. “Marie!” he repeated as if the eight month old would reply back. His body spun itself around in order to look for any abnormal sign within the room. His eyes inspected the floor, looking for a trail of blood leading out of the room, but to no avail.

That meant she may still be there. His daughter could still in the room. Instinctively he lifted be bed from it’s perch, inspecting the space underneath. Nothing. “Fuck!” he cursed, tossing the bed to the floor in anger. Anther thought hit him like a truck. Teleportation. If the person or thing entered the tower unnoticed than it most likely left the same way. “This can’t be happening.” he cried, dropping to his knees. “Please, god no.” his hands ran themselves through his green hair, trying to regain some form of self control. He tried to remember to protocol for this but was at a loss, he couldn’t focus. Everything was falling apart around him as his world melted away.

Then it all fell together again. His ears picked up the sound of a small grunt from beside him. Almost in an instant he turned towards the noise, leaping to his feet he rushed to the closed closet. Frantically he flung the door open, expecting to see the absolute worst only to be met with something else.

The woman’s plum pair clung to her face desperately as she rocked herself back and forth. Her eyes were closed, while the majority of her her face was buried in the bundle that was in her arms. Blood and bruises covered every visible inch of her body leaving her serious injuries to the imagination. Her cape was missing, leaving her in her leotard that was missing fabric ever few inches. She wreaked of desperation and fear, any lavender sent that she did have was over powered by the copper smell of her blood. It was his Raven, but at the same time it was something else.

“R-Rae?” he whispered, dropping to his knees just in front of her. His hands rose to her, only to have it waver in confusion. “Sweetheart.” he cooed, finally managing the courage to lightly trace her bruised knuckles. Instantly she bolted upright, her eyes widening at the sight of him. His heart jumped in his through at the sight, she looked like a frightened animal. Like he was going to hurt her rather than comfort her.

It took what felt like an eternity for some kind of presence to return to her eyes and she finally broke his gaze. Her head shook side to side as it triggered the waterfall of tears that began to fall down her face. As a hiccup ripped though her chest, she again buried her face in the bundle that held their daughter. Small cries of protest came from the young one in her arms, causing Raven’s grip to tighten.

“Raven, what-what happened?” Garfield asked, crawling into the small space of his daughters closet. The sound of his wife’s cries began to rip his heart out of his chest. Without another though he pulled her injured form onto his arms He could feel her uncontrollable shaking as tears and blood stained his night shirt. The erratic behavior of his wife continued as he rocked her small frame back and forth.

“The-the patrol.” she choked from his chest, “We-we found-we found them in an ally, holding-” her words soon died on her tongue as she gasped for air. “They-noticed us instantly and fought us. There were so many Gar-Robin and I, we-it was too much.“

The image of her wife receiving a beating flashed across the changelings mind and he instantly pushed it aside. The sound of her ragged breathing continued, as her story began to unfold for him. "When we finally over came them they-they had done the damage and-I-” her grip adjusted on their daughter, moving the blanket to expose her pale face. The purple hair atop her head moved with the force causing to cross her cheek lightly. Garfield could see her perfect green eyes even in the dark.

“How old?” he asked softly, adjusting himself under his wife’s body. Her eyes closed quickly as tears fell from her grasp.

“Two.” she whispered so softly that it sounded like a prayer. “Dick thinks it was a ransom gone wrong. She was so young Gar. I held her while she-” her breathing hitched as the worst part arose form her memory. “I know it wasn’t Mal, I know that, okay. It’s just for that split moment right before she passed it was. It was my own daughter in my arms dying while I watched helplessly."

Beast Boy’s heart ripped into two as he felt the pain that was radiating off of his wife. They had all been there, each one of the Titans had held some sad bystander as the life was taken from them. Sometimes the bad guys do win, and there was nothing that they could do about that. However, after the birth of their daughter the job of a hero had become more and more tantalizing on them. Having a child created a rip in the false reality they had created, in so many ways they wanted to do good because they both wanted their child to appericate the life they were given and yet at the same time the consequences of that job become all more real.

And sometimes it was almost unbearable.

"Why is life so fragile?” the empath asked into his chest. “Why is that at any moment we could loose the one thing that holds us together? Why does it have to be like this?"

Garfield took a deep breath as the question bubbled in his mind. Finally he answered honestly, "Because it’s knowing that it can be taken away any moment that makes it more special. It makes our time together precious Rae, and that in itself is a daily miracle.”

“I love you Gar.” Raven whispered softly. “I don’t ever want to let you go."

"Then don’t.” he replied. “Then don’t Rae.”

I feel accountable to myself every day 💦 Although it’s scary posting & being so publicly open on Insta, screw the fear - if this space is going to help me reach my goals, be healthy & for the first time in my life not be overweight then hell yes 🙌🏼 So here I am, exactly one year later. A hell of a lot healthier, happier, passionate & determined 💚 Thanks to @kayla_itsines & #bbg Otherwise I wouldn’t be here. Simple.“ www.kaylaitsines.com/app

Of course. Well first, you start with the standard things.

If you ask what I shall specifically do, then… It is relatively easy, and to be specific, “the infliction of pain from outside the victim, who is trapped in a confined space”.

Mogeko:

        IN A CONFINED SPACE!

And exactly how will that be performed?

Idate:

Good question. In fact, I have already prepared something for an example.

I think I can use it for practice.

Mogeko:

Thank you very much, Syachi-sensei! So, let’s try it out soon in practice. Dear viewers, carefully look at syachi-sensei’s example and learn to do it exactly step-by-step!

Grab the victim, put in a large bag, and hang it. Leave the victim in a confined space for a long time, this will help to increase stress, which will do the trick.

Idate:

So here’s what I’ve prepared. This time the victim is the loser dog-kun (lol) It was surprisingly difficult to catch him quickly. Oh well.

Upon doing so, I put him in an enclosed bag and hung him from the rope.

It’s best to leave him alone for as long as possible……. Yes, it would be good to        leave the victim by himself for 2-3 hours.

So now, I’ll proceed to the action.

……Although I do not often resort to violence, using weapons.

Well, it is not too difficult to understand. Alright, I’ll begin.

        Hey~ Wolf-kun. Enough already, you’re awake, huh?
