Fayettechill Summer Solstice - Day 3 (The Outlaw Race)

After another night of raging to the Stiff Necked Fools, we all woke up stoked for the final activities of the Summer Solstice festival. The plan was to try and shut down a busy highway for an outlaw. It was a Sunday so traffic was stacked, but we made the best of it. After running four man heats we ended up with a stacked 6 man final. After the push we were all really close exiting the first hairpin. Two of us clipped wheels taking us down and the two riders behind us, it was hectic to say the least. In the end it was a very successful event, with no cops and no one getting hurt. Apparently a car hit a bear at some point during heats. The Bear? The Bear! Thanks again to all the volunteers and local companies that came together for an epic weekend in the Ozarks. I can’t wait for next year!

Fayettechill Summer Solstice - Day 1

We packed as much as we could into the car and headed to Arkansas for the 2013 Fayettechill Summer Solstice, a 3 day celebration of energy and life in the Ozarks. On the way there we stopped at Marble to get a couple of runs in for Go Skate Day. The longest day of the year was epic thanks to good friends, a river to swim in and dope music by bands like Shawn James and the Shapeshifters jamming out all night.
