Keyleth and Percy- ☮

☮ - friendship headcanon

Percy gives Keyleth one of his gardens. As a whole the Whitestone gardens are a half-wild not-quite-maze of yards and courtyards that were mostly left to go to seed under the rule of the Briarwoods and Keyleth unofficially spearheads their recovery, but Percy has left her one entirely for her own use; she grows plants that remind her of home, and her family, and she cares for the complex as best she can but that one is her favorite. Percy visits her there, when he can, and sometimes they picnic on the grass, or just sit together and read. They don’t get much of that, these days.

George Harrison in the gardens at Friar Park, screen capped from Living in the Material World and the “Any Road” music video

“Although [George Harrison] did feel like a big outsider to the entertainment industry, he wasn’t hiding, he was just doing what he wanted to do - planting trees and making music. Trees replaced music as his work. Japanese maples. We bought a couple of thousand of them. He’d be out in the garden digging, on his hands and knees planting every night until the light went. My mother and me too, we were a real team.” - Dhani Harrison, Los Angeles Times, 18 November 2002
