favorite all the things

Help. I have discovered “Dad Might”.
Also someone needs to get all of the Todoroki siblings out of that house because Endeavor is the worst okay. The worst.

I was going to say send them all to Inko and she’ll look after them while their mom is in the hospital, but then I remembered that Inko lives in a teeny little apartment with her son and there probably isn’t quite enough room. She might try anyway

This is my first time drawing these characters. Not entirely satisfied with Todoroki over there, but I couldn’t find a good reference pic.

okay not yucking any yums here but seeing my garfield style mae drawing get favorited by someone on furaffinity and checking their profile out of curiosity and seeing her smug fucking garfield face on the thumbnail surrounded entirely by hyper muscle art in their favorites section is the funniest thing that’s happened to me all week. visually it makes it look like the hyper muscle star fox characters are her posse

What Remains of Edith Finch?!

I just finished watching Jack’s play through of What Remains of Edith Finch?, and I wanted to say something of what I thought about the game play :)

1. The visuals were stunning :)

 3. The way the story was told was really cool, I just love the way the environment told the story :)

My favorite thing about the game was discovering all of the secrets throughout the house!

And I knew it reminded me of the house in Hello Neighbor, hahaha

The game had me hooked so much that I was so oblivious of the hour play of how fast that went (Now that’s a good game :)

There was something that stuck out at me though! It was the ending! The message of the game: Appreciate everything that you have, and NEVER take anything for granted because this life is so short (I can tell you that this 1000% true)! The reason I say this is because I actually want to get something (even though it happened 4 years ago) off my chest!

Okay, here goes

*Breathes in*

*Breathes out*

In 2013, during the month of October, my mom was dropping my sister and I off to school.   She was about to make a left turn, when all of a sudden, she got hit by the other car, we spun of out control, and crashed! (Thank God we had our seat belts on) As soon as the 2005, Ford Windstar crashed it went in flames, but lucky for us their were people who got us out before the flames got worse, and we survived! (While this happened I actually felt like one of our mom’s friends was there, and protected us the whole time)

After when that accident happen, it made me realize even more that life is definitely short, and we should appreciate all the little things :) the way the accident happened we shouldn’t have survived, but the fact we are still alive today, stronger than ever, just made me even more grateful!

Favorite Caliza moment?

all the times that we’ve gotten to do things that are super special to the other person - I go heart eyes faster than anything when I see her skating. she’s just mesmerizing and I know it’s something so important to her and just wow. she makes it all look so effortless.

so basically all the times we’ve had on ice but I remember the first time we went on a trip together and there was an ice rink and it was the first time I’d seen her skate and this rink was like in a mall sort of deal so I told her to go do something cool and show off so she did and she’s skating around and I’m watching and my goodness a crowd of like 50 people at least had stopped by the end to watch her. she’s just captivating.

To all the girls: What's your favorite thing about teaching?

For me, my favorite thing about teaching is watching my students grow up to become their own people. I go to graduation every year and tear up a little when I watch my students cross the stage :’) but it’s worth it!

My favorite thing about teaching is seeing the expression on my students’ faces when they understand something. Nothing beats the feeling of “getting it” and when my students come to an understanding of something because of my help, it warms me up inside.

My favorite thing about teaching is getting to wake up every day and know that I get to work with my sisters! Although we are all in entirely different departments, it’s still fun to be able to work with my sisters!

My favorite thing about teaching has to be being able to make an impact on someone’s life. Sometimes, I feel as if I’m not good enough for my students, but they always find a way to make my day. By the end of the year, I usually get several cards from students, telling me how I’ve helped them come to terms with their mental illness, how I’ve inspired them to get help, etc. I love that I am able to aid them in such situations and it makes me realize how much more I want to help.

My favorite thing about teaching is being able to bring home a trophy at the end of the Basketball season. Ever since I’ve become the girls’ basketball coach, we haven’t lost a game!

Ann's teething phase was so bad they made it a new punishment in hell

It’s true though.

Ann was teething on everything. He chewed up multiple pacifiers, the nipples of the bottles, his toys- he chewed on anything and everything including, but not limited to, pillows, toys, his own fingers and toes, his brother, his parents, the furniture- his all time favorite thing to chew on thought was his pacifiers (which is the point of them) but he got to the point that he would go through one every week or so, because he would just gnaw on them.

Ann was a little hellion when he was teething

Not a question about preserving or stripping bones, but i was thinking that in this hobby yoy have to have some of the BEST out of context quotes. Do the admins all have any particularly good or favorite things they've said

Oh my gawwwd I’m sure we all have some hilarious stuff. My favorite was I was walking home with literally half of a raccoon in a shopping bag and some dude starts chatting me up and he asks what was in my bag “most of a raccoon” I reply and his face goes WHITE it was amazing. I never saw a dude split so fast.

Also “I gotta go water the corpse” (referring to my rot pots)

“No don’t touch me, I’m covered in fox”

“Hey, can you get me a bandaid? This skull just bit me.”

“No I will NOT move Claudius, he’s part of this family!” “He’s dead! I’m sure he doesn’t care”

“Don’t go in the bathroom” (just dumped a ton of maceration water in the toilet)

“My cat killed a mouse it was so disgusting” “…can…can I have it…?”

“I wonder how suspicious buying six containers of peroxide looks….“

“Look! A deer!” “Like, a live one, or?” “YES A LIVE ONE”

This is just for me, I’m sure the other mods will add more!!

-Mod Kitty

My favorite is anytime I go to tell my bf about my opossum I have buried he just shakes his head and goes, “STOOOOPPPP.”

I also love the day we were walking in the woods and I caught a severed deer leg out of the corner of my eye and it scared me because I thought it was a snake 😂😂!

Please don’t keep our dog after she dies.“

- Mod Galaxies

Oh man this is my fav topic!

"Gross, cat soup” (it rained on my half rotted cat)

“Wow, those skulls look so real!”
“They ARE real.”

“Soooo do you dig up people’s dogs too?”
“If they let me”

-disappointed looks from old white men- (yes, only white guys for some reason????)

“I thought you loved animals!!”

“If you look back and I’m dragging a carcass behind me it’s just a taxidermy thing”

“Do you have a boneyard?”

“Did it die? Can I have it?”
Usually followed by
“Oh oh I’m sorry no I’m really glad he’s okay I was just wondering-!”

“I found a [animal]!!”

What they say: “let’s go on a hike!”
What I hear: “let’s go find deads!”

“Hang on I have to put these fetuses in borax”

-mod Cookie
