fasting and cleansing

Marichat May Day 20: Night on the town

This is a gift for @australet789 who actually gave me this idea while we were talking. I hope you will enjoy!

When Chat landed on the rooftop next to her, Marinette was really glad Tikki flew in her purse just moments before. She had to run fast after she cleansed the akuma, it had been a really close all and she ended up on a roof. Chat saw her too, apparently.

“Hello, Purrincess.” he made a curt bow, before taking her hand and kissing her knuckles. “I see you got stranded by the akuma. And I as your loyal knight, will escort you to your tower and protect you along the way.”

Marinette raised an eyebrow, before glancing over her shoulder. There wasn’t such a long distance. Only 500 meters from her home and it was easier going over the rooftops anyway. And it was dusk. She could work with it.

“So what do you say about it, Princess?”

Marinette turned her eyes back to him and her lips curled in a smirk. The look obviously took Chat by surprise.

“You know what, Chat. I’ll race you there.”

Chat looked confused only for it to morph into horror as Marinette turned around and sprinted across the rooftop doing a handspring and landing gracefully on a chimney. To be honest, Chat wasn’t sure if he should be terrified for her or turned on. Just then she looked over her shoulder with a confident smirk. And then she winked.

Turned on was it.

He was pulled out by his little attraction induced trance when Marinette disappeared behind the chimney.

“Princess, wait!”

He was also a little bit, but actually a fucking lot terrified. Because not only was a civilian racing him across rooftops, but said civilian was also known for her clumsiness and ability to trip over air. This was not good for his health. As quickly as he could, he began running after her. And after he passed that chimney he was surprised to find Marinette a couple of meters ahead of him. Not only was she actually managing the whole running over the rooftops part, she was pulling off some tricks that were more for showing off than for helping her in this race. Chat was pleasantly surprised. Ad maybe just a little… what was the word? Enticed. Yeah, that was it. Marinette somersaulting through air and looking so happy and carefree was quite the sight and it made his heart beat faster

As for Marinette, well, she might have gained a parkour obsession in the last couple of months. It just started out of curiosity, how would it be to run over the rooftops without the Ladybug suit. At first, she just got over the chimney of her house. Then the next night after another. And another. And so on till she crossed the whole building. And after that, she began trying to scale the next building. It was refreshing. And f she didn’t know the rooftops of Paris, then no one did. She heard Chat’s steps close behind her and laughed. There was no way she will let him win. Her eyes focused on the gap between two buildings that she needed to jump over.

Chat felt his heart stop as Marinette jumped off the building. He forgot how to breathe as she rolled through the air. And when she landed on the building safely, he almost sighed in relief. Until he saw her rolling across the roof. What if she got hurt? Fuck, why wasn’t he faster? What if she injured herself badly? What if she broke something? What if she got a concussion? His mental question spree was cut short as Marinette stood up gracefully and obviously not injured. Then she blew him a kiss.

“Come on, cat boy! Don’t give me unfair advantages.”

Chat blinked before jumping as well. Marinette gave him a confident smile before beginning to run again, Chat hot on her tail. He had to admit, they got chemistry when it came to parkouring over Paris’ rooftops. It was sort of familiar, but he couldn’t pinpoint why. And while the whole race was fun, the fact that Marinette had such a cute ass to stare at as he tried to catch with her totally helped. Not that he ever stared at her super cute ass, no.

“I win!” Marinette declared victoriously when she landed on her balcony, Chat doing the same just seconds later. She turned around to face him. “So what do you think about this princess’ skills, my knight?” she asked playfully before ringing his bell.

Chat felt his face going red. “Marry me.”

Day 4

Woke up at thee am after having a vivid dream about making juice 😅 but went back to sleep eventually

Breakfast: Had the same orange juice as yesterday but it was more enjoyable due to the nice sunshine ☀️ I should also point out that there is a litre jug full of juice just not pictured in all photos haha

Snack: a glass of fresh pineapple juice is soooooo good! This was not as nice as the other as that pineapple was just about to be in over ripe so tasted super sweet.

Had a check in with the ol’ doctorino and was recommended to nix the fasting and got back to regular eating so It looks like this is the end and I’m honestly not mad about it. I was doing it more out of curiosity about the mythical health benefits and my curiosity is cured😂.
While I think that fasting would be awesome for some people, it was one of the least fun things I have ever done 😩. It was also a good job I didn’t start straight with a water fast as in hind sight that would probably have lasted about 4 hours haha 😅

Here is the first thing I ate when I got home. I went to town on that mango while everyone else looked on in awe and mild disgust 🐷

So we will be back to regularly scheduled programming after 3 ½ days ✌🏻.

Legit Worldbuilding Tip #3

or - “Crafting Religions for Fictional Worlds”

Whether you’re religious or not, there’s no denying the cultural, political, and social impact that religion has had on the world around us.

So when crafting a brand new world, whether it’s high fantasy, science fiction, science fantasy, etc., religion can play a big part of the world that you’re building. And because of its relative importance, there are a lot of things to think about re: crafted religions.

Religions Shape Morals and Virtues

Morals are a strange thing. People aren’t born with an innate knowledge of what to do in life, or how to act. It only makes sense, then, that people would turn to religion as a guide for how they should behave. That’s easy enough to see with the world we live in.

The Golden Rule. Nearly everybody learns this one growing up. For Christians, it comes in the form of a Biblical quote - “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” But the concept isn’t unique to Christianity. Nearly every religion has this same rule, in some form or another.

But when you get further into the details of differing religions, you see that each has its own set of morals and what it feels is “right.” This can range from Evangelicals who feel that same-sex love is a sin because of an archaic passage from the old testament to vegetarianism as a way to avoid hurting other living creatures, commonly found among Hindus.

So What Does This Mean?

Well, this means that when you’re crafting a religion, one of the things to think about is what morals you want in your world.

Don’t want a world with a bunch of homophobic assholes? I’ve got good news for you! A same-sex couple amongst your pantheon of Gods and you can have a world where people don’t just accept same-sex love, but celebrate it!

But that’s not the only thing to think about. Different taboos are often religion-centric as well.

These taboos can have minor consequences on your world-building in some ways. For example, maybe you just want to make things more interesting by adding details such as characters who avoid certain kinds of metals or stones because they’re strictly forbidden in their religious texts.

These taboos can also have major consequences on your story. For example, even in the modern day and age there are a lot of prejudices against albinism in some African countries. You can imagine the consequences for such a character.

Religions Shape Cultural Practices and Thoughts

In the West, pretty much everybody celebrates the holidays, even if they aren’t Christian. They may adapt their practices depending on their beliefs, but regardless, if you live in a country like America you’ll experience a lot of religious influence around the holiday season. Christmas, a day that celebrates the birth of a religious figure, has a tremendous cultural impact even on those that aren’t Christian.

When crafting a religion, it only makes sense to think about the cultural impact said religion will have. Holidays, prayer, rituals, religious pilgrimages, the way that people keep track of time (as in our AD system), taboos (as already mentioned), fasting, celibacy, religious bathing/cleansing…

These are just a few practices that exist within different religions. Many are so ingrained in our culture that people don’t even think of them as “religious” any more.

For example, the practice of abstaining from sex before marriage. This single religious belief has created a culture that is very prohibitive regarding sexuality. A lot of people still think that fewer sex partners = a better person, even those who aren’t adherents of any religious philosophy. It’s just something that’s ingrained in our culture.

All this to say - the best starting point for creating a religion in a fictional world is knowing what kind of world you want to write.

With all that out of the way, let’s get on to the actual creation process. There are a few things to think about, but I want to start with something I feel is very important.

There are a lot of religions out there. I suggest you research them and learn about them.

But please don’t just take an existing religion, especially one from another culture, slap a new name on it, give it an air of mysticism, and then be done with it. It’s disrespectful to those who actually practice these religions.

*Ahem* Okay, I’ve said my piece and now I’ll move on.

Remember - Multiple Religions Can and Usually Do Exist in a Culture

This is the first and most important thing I want to point out. Most of the stories I’ve seen where creators do religion right is when they remember that not everybody practices the same religion.

George R. R. Martin does this incredibly well with the different religions in ASOIAF. They are all different, they are all unique, they are very much shaped by the part of the world that those characters live in.

Also remember that the same religion can have many different interpretations, leading to different branches and sects. They can be quite different and they may not get along that well. This is another thing that is often forgotten.

Different Types of Religions

Throughout history there have been many different types of religions. Some have a single god. Some have an entire pantheon. Some see gods as people. Some see gods as animals. Some gods are both people and animals, depending on the story that’s being told. Some religions see gods as having no form. Some religions teach that god is the universe. Some say that there are no gods, but there is power in everything.

Let’s Talk Prophets and Stuff

Another thing to remember is that religions are often centered on a prophet, or a person’s teachings. While a god or pantheon of gods may be central to that religion, the prophet/guru/etc. is also very important. Jesus, Muhammed, the Buddha… just a few real world examples.

This is where I take the time to point out something important. Your religion doesn’t have to have a male prophet/teacher. A prophet can be a woman. Or nonbinary. There can be six prophets who worked together, all of different gender identities. In fact, this can be a really good way to get rid of gross stuff like sexism in your world’s culture, or just plain avoid stereotypical high fantasy with Manly Men and Damsels in Distress.

Leave Some Stuff Unexplained

Another thing I want to point out is that religions don’t usually have explanations for everything. I mean, the whole point of religion is faith most of the time.

I was talking with @more-legit-gr8er-writing-tips earlier about this. Because I still get mad about the midichlorian thing in Star Wars. The Force was an awesome (if a little underdeveloped) religion. It was focused on the power that exists in all things rather than the idea of a god. Certain people could access the Force. All was good. Then they made the Force the result of little critters that live inside people.

No. No no no. Okay, I’ll stop. Just suffice it to say, whatever genre you’re writing in, don’t feel the need to explain everything. Even if magic exists, even if there’s science, just embrace the mystery and the wonder of the religion you’ve created.

Religious Institutions

I’ll keep this one short. But just remember that where there’s religion, there’s inevitably going to be some sort of religious institution. It may be that in your world every town has its own religious leader and group of scholars. Or you could have a vast system of temples. Or you could have the fantasy equivalent of the Catholic Church.

(Remember also - the bigger a religious institution is, and the more influence it has on the people, the more likely it is going to be a power in its own right in your world - a.k.a. the Catholic Church basically being a governing power in our own history.)

Religion in Science Fiction

Apart from some science fantasy, I’m hard pressed to find many science fiction stories that include religion. I think there’s a general assumption that people will move away from religion, especially as we learn more about the world we live in.

But… people are people. And I’m 100% sure that there will always be some people who believe in something. Your dystopian government may not like it, but somebody somewhere will discover the last unburned copy of the Torah and a brand new religion with elements of Judaism will spring up around it.

And that starship flying through space in the year 3277? Probably going to have Buddhists, Hindus, Christians, Muslims, and who knows what else on board. Though they may not practice religion the same way we do now. And who the crap knows what the aliens are going to believe in.

Common Themes in Religion

One of the final things I have to say is that, for as many differences there are in religions, there are a lot of commonalities. Things like prophets, and trickster gods, and miraculous births (such as children being found in rivers or born to virgins). I suggest you do some research on the commonalities in religions and use them if you need a bit of inspiration for crafting your own.

Anyway, I’ve rambled long enough. I just want you to consider some of these things. This is just one way to build a little more complexity into a world you’ve created, and it can do a lot for everything from plot to making the reader really believe that your world exists. So have at it! Enjoy playing god(s).

Day 12 | 10.12.17

So, I watched a very informative video on fasting. I am very much aiming more than three days because after 72 hours, my body will be in ketosis. It took me a few days to do research on this, since I really didn’t want a chance of hurting my body until I was fully educated on this (A fast past than a day). Now.. I want to do this because I want to cleanse my body and get rid of all the yucky stuff I ate. I’m 5'3 and 52lbs overweight. I want to post my progress every single day of my fast. I’m so very glad I found that video, because so many people do not transition out of their fasts that well, or healthy in that matter. (Most I’ve seen gets sick or eat lots of sugar) I will post what I’ve learned, just incase anyone is wanting to do this as well. I really want everyone to do this safely🌻💛 I will credit the YouTuber in my tags.

It’s very much recommended to start on a Thursday or Friday. Your second through fourth day are going to SUCK. Your body is trying to burn the last of your glucose while trying to move onto burning your fat for fuel. (Ketosis) So please do this on less busier days. Remember sugar is 8x more addictive than cocaine. You’ll feel it, your brain fogs and you’ll feel fatigue. Try to get through it and by day five will feel way different.

Day one:

  1. Drink a gallon of water (filtered) and drink out of a glass for least toxicity.

Day two:

  1. At the beginning of each day, drink 10oz of lukewarm water with one teaspoon of organic himalayan pink salt. It reduces blood pressure and stimulates your electrolyte balance.
  2. Drink half a gallon to a gallon and a half of water. (Drink when your body tells you to, do not force yourself to drink water)
  3. Every night, drink 1-2 tablespoons of ACV (Apple cider vinegar) Very much recommended to get braggs because it’s organic. Personally for me, I am not going to be using Braggs. As long as it says “with mother” you should be fine. The person In the video didn’t specify how to drink it, but I recommend you to mix it in with water. It will taste less horrible haha, and it won’t burn your throat. It will help balance the Ph of your liver, and stimulate the hydrochloric acid in your stomach.

  • Half an hour of direct sunlight. No sunscreen or lotion.
  • Five minutes before ending a shower, change the temperature to ice cold. It helps drop cortisol levels, and shoots up your adrenaline! (I’ve showered in ice cold water in the past, it feels great)
  • So, if you’re a male reading this.. you’re reducing inflammation all over your body. That includes your prostate, so, throughout your whole fast do not masturbate.

  1. Day one: Have 48oz of Bonafide beef bone broth. (I’m personally going try Bonafide chicken broth and will document my results) You will still being doing your pink salt in lukewarm water in the morning, as well as ACV at night.
  2. Day two: Have 2 cups of steamed spinach/kale (OR both) Also again, have your Bonafide beef bone broth
  3. Day three: You’re done! It’s safe to eat whatever.

  1. Days one through three: You will be doing just Bonafide beef bone broth.
  2. Days four and five: Bonafide beef bone broth with the spinach/kale. You’ll still be doing the salt & acv.
  3. Day six: READ THIS THROUGH. You will NEED to spend this day at home. You’ll be eating fermented foods. You will have the runs! Haha. You are still doing the acv and acv.

Make sure to slowly introduce your foods back in.

I am very excited to try this! I’ve always been overweight since I was a pre-teen. (I’m eighteen currently) I’ve never been in a healthy weight range. Since I’m 50lbs overweight, I’m pretty positive I’ll burn a lot of it once I get into ketosis. I’m aiming for seven days, if I can get past that, I will keep going. Once I am done with my fast, and my body is cleansed, I’ll be eating very healthier and exercising more. I really hope by the end of my fast I’ll be in the 150s or 160s at most, if I can get past ten days. Feel free to leave me asks!!!!!!

Give your body rest, give your body a break so do not exercise. You are making a temporary sacrifice. Do this at your own risk, I am not responsible for you. Stay safe lovelies. 🌻💛

Water Fast FAQ

What is a water fast? A water fast is where you abstain from eating food and consume only water for a specific amount of time.

Is there a particular water that I should drink? No. Any water will do, as long as it is just water with noting added.

How long should I go for my first fast? I suggest 3 days for your first fast to get an idea as to what you will be facing.

What was your longest fast? 30 days.

Why do you water fast? Health reasons and weight loss.

What are the benefits of water fasting? Water fasting is a great way to jump start your new healthy life style, because generally speaking it reboots your system and rids all of the poor things you have been putting into your body. People use water fasting to cleanse their system for things such as becoming vegetarian or vegan or simply making a drastic change in dietary plans. I’ve also encountered tons of people who have used water fasting to help/cure eye sight issues, eczema, other skin issues such as acne, bowel issues, stomach issues, and more. There have even been some cases and personal accounts of people water fasting and then having their cancer cells lowered or disappear. However the most common use of water fasting is for weight loss.

What is the difference between restricting/eating disorder and fasting? Generally speaking restricting is about control and stems from a mental illness or other psychological problems. Restricting is not about being healthy and strong and doesn’t have an end date. Where an eating disorder is a mental illness water fasting is about health and strength and is not a long term plan but instead a journey with an intended end date.

How do I start a fast? You want to start a fast by easing into it. Doing so prepares your body for the decrease in food which is to come. Thus I suggest 2-3 days of eating just fruits and veggies and then transitioning into another   2-3 day period where you juice. After doing so you may move into your water fast.

How do I end a fast? You want to end a fast the same way you started it, by EASING out of it. Doing so prepares your body for the reintroduction of food and prevents your body from assuming that food will disappear again. Thus I suggest 2-3 days of just consuming juice/juicing. After these 2-3 days, . you should move on to another 2-3 days of consuming just fruits and veggies. After this period of time you can add back in lean proteins and other non fruit and veggie items.

How do I juice? You have to buy a juicer to make your own juice. Sense these can be expensive you can also buy fresh juice instead.

What juice can I buy if I don’t have a juicer? I generally juice my own fruits and veggies, so I don’t remember the exact brands I bought. So I would go to a farmers market, juice bar, organic market, or whole foods store and look for organic fruit juices there.

When should I drink the juice? I honestly just drank when i would naturally consume food. SO maybe 1-2 cups of juice for breakfast. A cup for a snack. 1-2 cups for lunch. A cup for another snack. 1-2 cups for dinner. And maybe another cup for another snack.

When should I consume the veggies? Once again, I consumed it when I would normally eat. So breakfast, snack, lunch, snack, dinner, snack.

Is there any particular fruit or veggie i should consume while easing in or out of fasting? No anything will really do but leafy greens and things like watermelon (Which has a high water content) are especially good for you.

How much water should i drink drink on a fast? I suggest anywhere between 1-2 gallons a day. You should be drinking constantly the whole day. And peeing frequently. It doesn’t matter when your drinking the water just that it’s constant throughout the day. Sense there about 8 water bottles in a gallon, and I aim for 2 gallons (8 x 2= 16 water bottles)…I either carry around a water bottle and try to fill it/consume 16 bottles before the day ends. Or I carry around a gallon water bottle and try to drink 2 of those before the day ends.

Does it matter if the water is cold? I have been told by experienced people that drinking cold water is better because your body supposedly works harder to convert it to the temperature of your body, but I’m not sure.

How does water fasting work? Basically after about 3 days your body goes into something called ketosis where your body starts to metabolize/consume fat. This is why people use water fasting to lose weight.

Do you gain weight back after a water fast? Yes. Everyone will gain some weight back and it differs for everyone because water weight/water retention is different for everyone. When you start your water fast generally you will see an initial and quick 2-5 pound weight loss. This is because when you eat food you consume sodium (salt) which holds on to any water you consume. When you water fast you are not consuming food, which means no salt, SO there is no sodium in your body to hold on to the water you are drinking. Thus you lose what is called initial water weight.

When you end your fast and start consuming food again you consume salt and will thus start retaining water again, which will cause generally a few pounds of water weight.

When I finish a water fast how long before I can start another? I have read and been told to wait at least 4 weeks, but I have broken that rule numerous time. Just saying.

Before and after pictures? Are they you? Were they from fasting? Yes they are me. Yes they were from doing a collection of 2 long fasts. You can find them by going to

Have you gained any weight back? Yes about 20lbs due to two traumatic deaths in my family which resulted in poor eating.

Do you plan on doing more fasts in the future? Yes. One I’m actually starting tomorrow.

Can you give a detailed example of what you ate after a water fast.

Should I exercise durring a water fast? No.

Sure but keep in mind this is only an example/ I experiment a lot with food and recipes and it’s impossible for me to remember what I ate because I constantly switch it up and am pulling from different online/book recipes.

Breakfast: Organic oatmeal with cinnamon and cut up bananas on top with a cup of almond milk.

Snack: Apple and berries

Lunch: Salad with lemon juice and almonds, bits of lean chicken, carrots, cherry tomatoes and water.

Snack: fruit smoothie or maybe a carrots and dip.

Dinner: Stir fry in a kale wrap

Desert: Strawberries and light whip creme.

What are some foods that are good for you? Nuts, almond milk, coconut, coconut water, coconut milk, fruits, veggies, leafy greens. The closer to the ground the better for your body.

Do you smell on a water fast? No Can you brush your teeth on a water fast? Some people say no I do because it doesn’t effect weight. I know that a lot of people want to know exactly what i ate and juiced but i just cant tell you that because i didn’t keep track of it when i was fasting and i wing meals and experiment so much with it that i lose track. If you have any other questions feel free to ask and ill add it to the FAQ. Thanks!

anonymous asked:

What's the best way to get revenge on someone who manipulated and emotionally abused me? I feel so lost, I don't even know myself anymore - they stripped me of everything. I wanna win!

The best revenge: Begin by falling back in love with every inch of you. Heal yourself and forgive yourself. Start writing 10 things you are grateful for everyday. Exercise. Go on a cleanse fast. Read more books. Reconnect with friends. Take yourself out on dates. Find your passion and turn it into a purpose. Enjoy life again and raise your vibrations. The universe will reward you by aligning you with people who match your energy. Life will become brighter, but it will take some time, so be patient.

The revenge part isn’t in your control. But the best thing you can do is live the best life you can and leave that horrible person to linger in misery with their demons - until they decide for themselves that they want to change. Wish them peace and healing and keep it moving. 💛

Day 3

Woke up after sleeping well again, got hungry but was fine after hot lemon water

First juice of the day is carrot, sweet potato, belle pepper, orange, ginger and turmeric. A sunny drink for a dark rainy morning

For some reason everything tastes really salty today, I mean even my water 💦 😯 any ideas why?

Not hungry but constantly catching myself perusing food on instagram and feeling profound jealousy 😅

Lunch: red cabbage, apple, beetroot and celery. I love the colour of this but no matter what I shall never be a great lover of cabbage or beetroot (the exception being beetroot crisps of course 😉)

Dinner: spinach, kale, cilantro, celery, green apple and lemon

Find what works for you

For the longest time I thought that losing weight “the healthy way” didn’t work for me, and never would. I told myself that because I was going to the gym everyday and not losing a pound, I needed to find other options. I tried cleanses, extreme workout plans, and when nothing worked I gave up. I thought that no matter what I did, I would never lose weight. Now, here I am after almost two months of regularly exercising and eating healthier, and I’m finally losing weight.
Cleanses and extreme diets don’t always work, and they aren’t always healthy. Over the past 2 months I have found that by changing up my exercise routine each week and eating more organic foods, I am able to lose weight, gain muscle, and be overall healthy. Please don’t resort to “quick weight loss options” just because you are frustrated. It takes time, patience, and hard work.
The moral of this post is that you need to find the right balance for YOU. Just exercising might not be enough. Eat more fruits and vegetables, eat less processed foods. Include strength AND cardio into your exercise routine. Find what works for you, and stick with it.

Green up because greens are like liquid sunlight. The greens transform your bloodstream, so if you have high blood pressure you’re going to lower it. The greens calm your nature so if you are very up emotionally or stressed out it will repair your nervous system. The greens repair the cells at the cellular level and can heal cancer cells. The greens help your skin to become more radiant. The anahata or heart chakra is green so it balances out your relationships from the past. A lot of the burdens we carry in our hearts can be purified through the green. Greens aid in our growth as BEings and help us overcome. So start with the green.

Holy shit idea.

So I was looking at discourse - I know, don’t even say it.

But I was thinking about how people seem to like to call cursing “magical attacks.”

And some call it magical self defense but whatever, not my point.

But, like, what if.

We had curse-offs.

Similar to how people do martial arts tourneys.

Like, one person goes on offense, and the other defense.

And just, like, test your skills.

This is for everyone who is asking me how I do my uncluttering sessions.

1. Start with your journal. Write down everything first. Find a place where you can think and have some quality time with yourself.

2. Think of specific areas you want to include in your uncluttering. Some areas on my list are: food, music, gadgets, books, plans, journals and blogs, finance, exercise, etc.

Food - what to eat and what not to eat. go healthy! ( I do juice fasting/cleansing sometimes)

Music - songs I want to learn, pieces I need to play

Gadgets - I organize files on my gadgets every month and I also customize themes

Books - reading list and study goals

Plans - plans for the month, monthly goals, weekly goals

Journals and Blogs -  organizing my journaling stuffs, updating my blogs

Finance - budget, savings, organizing my wallet

Exercise - regular exercise schedule

3. Unclutter your thoughts too. Write down all your million-dollar ideas before you forget about them. Remove all non-sense and dwell on happy thoughts and positive things. Stop worrying!

4. Get rid of all stuffs you’re not using anymore. Send them out for donations or throw them in the trash.

5. Tidy up your room and your desk. I do this on a daily basis. Nothing feels better than a clean and fresh room atmosphere.

6. Unclutter by prioritizing. First things first. Leave the internet alone and do your school work.

7.Practice minimalism.

I hope this has been helpful. Remember that uncluttering is personal. You can always do it in your own way.

A little baby witch tip on using and cleansing tarot decks

So maybe you noticed today I did a flash giveaway of free tarot readings.

BTW I gave over 30 even to people who didn’t follow the rules holy shit.

The reason why is because I had misplaced my deck and when I found it (or when it found me) I was so happy I… overcharged it.

My deck was more hyped than me so I thought “hey, instead of cleansing it to get rid of all that pent up energy, I could give a few readings for free.”

Traditional cleansing is good when energies that don’t belong in the deck have stuck, but spending your deck like taking a hyperactive puppy for a run is a good option when it has been accumulating its own energy without having a release.

Today I answer to consciousness.
Today I bow into divine essence.
Today I trust my body.
Today I cleanse my mind.
Today I embody spirit.
Today I forgive the past.
Today I nourish unconditionally.
Today I listen closely.
Today I surrender to infinite.
Today I love deeper.
Today I return.

Today everything changes.

What Baelor the Blessed would have worn, Amato by Furne One

Baelor I Targaryen was the ninth Targaryen king to reign on the Iron Throne. Known for his piety, Baelor was a septon as well as a king. None of the Targaryen kings are as beloved by the smallfolk as Baelor. Some remember him as a great and holy man and praise him for his contributions to the Faith of the Seven, for forging a peace with Dorne, his mercy and his many acts of charity. Others are less impressed by him, believing him to be an overly zealous weak fool.

Upon the death of his brother, King Daeron I Targaryen, in Dorne, Baelor was crowned king and ascended the Iron Throne when he was seventeen. Baelor was married to his younger sister, Princess Daena Targaryen, however he refused to consummate their marriage, causing his sister, who usually dressed all in black, to change her clothes to only whites in an attempt to shame him, as she had sworn to wear nothing else until the was properly bedded. The plan did not work, as Baelor liked to see his sister all in white, feeling it made her look more innocent. He later had the marriage dissolved, and chose to lock his three sisters away in a comfortable prison in the red keep later called the maidenvault so he could  preserve the innocence of his sisters from the wickedness of the world, and from the lusts of men. This action was protested by many in the court. Baelor next decreed prostitution to be outlawed in King’s Landing, putting more than a thousand whores and and their children out of the city. This was heavily protested, but Baelor refused to listen and closed his eyes to the unrest that followed. He busied himself with building a new sept which would later be named after him.

Towards the end of his reign, Baelor would fast to the point of fainting to tame the lusts that shamed him. When his sister and former wife, Daena, gave birth to a bastard named Daemon Waters, she refused to give up the father. Baelor fasted for forty days and nights, refusing to take anything but water and some bread. On the forty-first day of his fast the king collapsed, and neither the Grand Maester or the High Septon could save him. History says Baelor starved himself to death by the prolonged fasting to cleanse himself of lust, but some believe he was poisoned by his Hand and uncle, Viserys. Some claim Viserys did so to gain the throne, but others claim Viserys had done so for the good of the realm, as Baelor had come to believe that the Seven wanted him to convert all the non-believers in the entire realm. Had Baelor been able to put these believes into action, war with the old gods-following north and the Drowned God-worshiping Iron Islands would have resulted.
