New York Fashion Week is one of the most beautiful times of the year. All the women, fashion industry or not- dress to impress. It’s not uncommon to see the women going to work or going to shows covered head to toe in Chanel, Givenchy, or another fashion designer brand.
I found that the most important thing to keep in mind during NYFW is to dress comfortably. Running around through the city can make a girl tired, and disheveled! I opted out of short skirts this time around and instead went for layers with pants, and long skirts that were easy to walk in.
Hi guys! I recently collaborated with Brigitte of FashionDailyMag which included me writing an article on anything I wanted. So as Couture week had just come to a close I decided to write this article - A New Kind Of Couture. This discusses the trend of minimalism in Couture as I feel it’s become more apparent over the last couple of seasons. The article mentions designers such as Raf Simons for Christian Dior and Iris Van Herpen, we also toy with the idea that not all Haute Couture must be flamboyant or outrageous. You can check out the article HERE and I’d really really appreciate if you could read it and give me feedback be it by message or comment on this post. What do you think?
