farewell blessing

Draconic Witchcraft: Circle Casting

  1. Stand in the middle of where you will draw your circle.
  2. Visualise your crown chakra opening to receive divine light.
  3. Open your arms, facing out; visualise the light growing stronger and forming into a shield of protection.
  4. Now raise one hand to either mentally mark the edges of your circle on the floor, or use chalk/protective powder to mark the circle. Spin around clockwise while drawing.
  5. Place white candles at each compass point on the circle..
  6. Stand facing East, in the centre of the circle. Relax and breathe until you feel calm, centred, and present. Light the candle and then chant: “To the East, I call upon the Guardians of the elements of Air and the Great Yellow Dragon to join me now and bless this circle. Hail and Welcome!
  7. Stand facing South. Light the candle and then chant: “To the South, I call upon the Guardians of the elements of Fire and the Great Red Dragon to join me now and bless this circle. Hail and Welcome!
  8. Stand facing West. Light the candle and then chant: “To the West, I call upon the Guardians of the elements of Water and the Great Blue Dragon to join me now and bless this circle. Hail and Welcome!

  10. Raise your hands and palms upwards, and look up while chanting: “God and Goddess, Spirit Guides, please be present with me during this ritual. Bless this circle and keep me protected. No unwanted entities are welcome here. Only pure, divine beings are invited into this space. The circle is cast. So mote it be.
  11. Now you can sit or stand within your circle, and perform your spell.
  12. To close your circle, prepare to spin anticlockwise.
  13. Stand facing North. With your palms outstretched, chant: “To the North, I thank the Guardians of the element of Earth and the Great Green Dragon. Hail thee and farewell!
  14. Stand facing West. With your palms outstretched, chant: “To the West, I thank the Guardians of the element of Water and the Great Blue Dragon. Hail thee and farewell!
  15. Stand facing South. With your palms outstretched, chant: “To the South, I thank the Guardians of the element of Fire and the Great Red Dragon. Hail thee and farewell!
  16. Stand facing East. With your palms outstretched, chant: “To the East, I thank the Guardians of the element of Air and the Great Yellow Dragon. Hail thee and farewell!
  17. Stand in the middle with palms facing the sky and look upwards, chanting: “The circle is open, but never broken. I thank thee all for being present and blessing this ritual. May we meet again. Farewell, blessed be, and so it is.”
  18. Either let the candles burn down, or blow them out. Release your shield.

an end to an era, the sweetest of goodbyes.

Farewell My Friend
It was beautiful as long as it lasted
The journey of my life.
I have no regrets whatsoever
save the pain I’ll leave behind.
Those dear hearts who love and care…
And the strings pulling at the heart and soul…
The strong arms that held me up
When my own strength let me down.
At every turning of my life
I came across good friends,
Friends who stood by me,
Even when the time raced me by.
Farewell, farewell my friends
I smile and bid you goodbye.
No, shed no tears for I need them not
All I need is your smile.
If you feel sad do think of me
for that’s what I’ll like
when you live in the hearts
of those you love, remember then
you never die.

Circle Casting

this post is for the lovely witchybun  who asked me about how i cast my circles. this is just how i usually cast my more important circles.

First clear the area you plan to place you circle, and remove any unnecessary clutter while making sure that you have everything that you will need. (having to cut the circle because you forgot something important always sucks)  have all four quarters located before you begin (north, east, south and west) i usually work with candles that represent each of the quarters. if you are also using quarter candles place them in their proper directions now

Then ground and center yourself it helps to focus on whatever work you will be doing. i find that it helps to shut out distractions so that i can give all my attention to the magickal work ahead.

He is beautiful, in ways you cant comprehend yet. His ruffled hair and baggy clothes make him soft around his edges, his pouted lips beg to be kissed a thousand times in love and blessing, in farewells and hellos. His hands were always there to hold yours from the very first time they bumped together and suddenly your fingers were intertwined and it felt so right you wanted to be in that moment forever, just feeling his palm pressed against yours. He is your love, and you will stare at him like he is a beautiful sunset, you will gaze at him in awe and wonder, and in his eyes, if the love is real, you will see him staring back with the same giddy look you know is on your face.

“This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell, my blessing season this in thee!”

Christian what movie inspired u to create **a secret room full of raincoats**

Oi!! It was a movie called Beach Party, which is one of my favorite movies of all time probably. Generally I do not like the beach, especially the sunny california type, however 1960’s beach culture was incredibly cool and good. There is alot of good mu sic in the film as well and all of the car driving scenes look rly unreal & whimsical. The dialogue is amazing too, just the tone and the slang ya know. The colors are very clean and soapy, yet washed out at the same time. Very life changing movie. Also… The Adventures Of Food Boy, is a masterpiece beautiful motion picture, and another big inspiration. Thx for asking farewell god bless

hi I was just wondering, how do I cast a circle?

Hello there dear. A fine question! And an involved process indeed. I’ve found a wonderfully detailed exposition on circle casting. Let me quote it - slightly abridged for clarity’s sake - for you.

What is Casting A Circle?

A circle as it is used in pagan traditions (usually) speaks of an imaginary circle created with energy. However many pagans choose to mark their circle physically using things like string, stones, plants, or just about anything else. A circle is cast by calling energies into a certain area in a certain way (we will go over that later) for a specific purpose.

Its purpose is twofold. It is to protect those within the circle from outside negativity and influence, and is used as a sort of harness for the energy that the practitioner(s) summons.

When is it done?

That depends entirely upon you/your group. Some people cast a circle before any spellwork they do including meditations and cleansing, others save it for big rituals done on sabbats and/or esbats, and some choose not to do it at all.

I would suggest that you follow your own intuition when it comes to this. Do you feel the need to make a circle before whatever ritual or spell you have set forth to do? Keep in mind that circle casting requires a pretty in depth amount of energy. It isn’t just done for the sake of doing it. But in the end, it’s totally up to you.’

Instructive so far, yes? Venture forth, dear. There’s lots more.
