🌿✨ Fairy Altar Tips! ✨🌿

hello loves! I wanted to make a short list of things to include in a springtime fairy altar. Spring has always made me feel drawn to their gentle magick, and i hope to obtain some of it in my own atmosphere. here are some simple things to include in your own fairy shrine:

♡ handfuls of soft grass (remember to say “thank you”)

♡ flat stones found around your neighborhood, either as they are or painted in pretty pastel colors

♡ small jars filled with fine glitter

♡ tiny crystals and tumble stones (rose quartz and tiger’s eye are lovely fairy-drawing choices, for example)

♡ a small mason jar or goblet of fresh water

♡ sticks you’ve found, either as they are or decorated with tied lace, pastel colored threads, acrylic paint, leaves, tied herbs, anything you’d see fit for a fairy wand ~

♡ tiny handwritten notes (write anything you wish)! anointed with flowery oils and placed under dried lemon/orange peels or in tiny jars

♡ fresh flowers of your choice (from the store or picked from nature - not somebody’s yard, unless you have permission)! ~

♡ rosemary, salt, lavender, and nutmeg in small pretty dishes or sprinkled around

♡ a little fairy/animal figurine (or a small photo of such)

happy spring! 🌦

As promised I have started creating fan arts of FableHaven. I admit I haven’t started to reread the first book yet, but I wanted to get a head start on this project. I was trying to think of something that was simple. Honestly I couldn’t remember what the fairy looked like, but I have a good feeling that she looks fine. Anyway tell me what you guys think.

Hello! What kind of date would the tfp cons take their s/o on?

Hi yourself, darling! ^.^

Megatron pulls out all the stops; he’s gonna make you feel like royalty. I’m talking candles, big fancy dinner, vehicon butlers, classic Cybertronian music, and afterwards something a little more… intimate ;)

Starscream is the only one who could top Megs in the romance department. He flies you both out to a secluded beach at sunset. When the stars come out he takes some jar fairy lights and picnic supplies, and even a telescope. You spend the night talking and stargazing, and you fall asleep on the way home. He tucks you in.

Soundwave isn’t much for romance, and prefers a night in. He sets his quarters up with cozy blankets and pillows. There are snacks, games, and movies. It ends up being a sleepover. You’re up sharing memes at three a.m.

Knock Out takes you to the drive-in theater for a movie, then afterwards you go racing and then have a picnic on the floor of his habsuite. He has flowers waiting for you.

Breakdown wants to do something sporty and fun. You probably end up going mudding or dune-bashing. Then he goes through a car wash. You pick up a milkshake on the way home and you two cuddle.

Chang'e or Chang-o [嫦娥] is the Chinese goddess of the Moon. Unlike many lunar deities in other cultures who personify the Moon, Chang'e only lives on the Moon.

In one version of the Chang'e legend, she was a beautiful young girl working in the Jade Emperor’s palace in heaven, where immortals, good people and fairies lived. One day, she accidentally broke a precious porcelain jar. Angered, the Jade Emperor banished her to live on earth.

Chang'e was transformed into a member of a rich farming family. When she was 18, a young hunter named Houyi from another village spotted her, now a beautiful young woman. They became friends. One day, a strange phenomenon occurred—10 suns arose in the sky instead of one, blazing the earth. Houyi, an expert archer, stepped forward to try to save the earth. He successfully shot down nine of the suns, becoming an instant hero. He eventually became king and married Chang'e.

But King Houyi grew to become greedy and selfish. He sought immortality by ordering an elixir be created to prolong his life. The elixir in the form of a single pill was almost ready when Chang'e came upon it. She either accidentally or purposely swallowed the pill. This angered King Houyi, who went after his wife. Trying to flee, she jumped out the window of a chamber at the top of the palace—and, instead of falling, she floated into the sky toward the Moon.
