let us take a moment to think about how taylor had a hand in designing every aspect of the 1989 tour. from the setlist to the stage design to the lighting and the lifts. all of the coordination that went into having special guests. and she had the energy and determination to put on a two hour show with hours of meet and greets before AND after. a huge smile on her face. and then she would spend hours online hanging out with us. she did that for 85 shows.

  • Eugene: Well, we don't want to spoil anything, but I'll tell you a secret... *leans in close* I'm very handsome in it.
  • Me: *takes his hand in both of mine* *leans in closer* That's not a secret.

Kind of a crappy quality photo, but one of my co-workers asked me how long I’ve been at this whole working out/trying to get healthier thing as we were walking to our cars tonight. So, I decided to check out my progress.

It’s astonishing to me that it’s only been 14 months since I made a somewhat serious commitment to my health. Tonight, after a long 13 hour shift on my feet in the PICU, I did my measurements. I’m 21.8 pounds and 27 inches down in just over a year. Those numbers mean very little when compared to how much I can physically do that I simply couldn’t do before, though.


Your work has been a gift to mankind. You shaped the century.


Just a post to congratulate myself for keeping off my 55 pound weight loss for a year now. This last year hasn’t been easy for me… it was actually pretty tough. Honestly, in some ways, maintaining my weight was a lot harder than losing it ever was… all I can say is that you have to find the motivation from within… and I am never going back :)
As I enter into 2017, I hope to continue to grow and learn to love myself and treat my body the best way I can 💖

One of the biggest differences I’ve noticed since losing weight and changing my diet/exercise routine is in my face! These pictures are less than two years apart! My cheekbones and jawline are so much more defined now and my skin has gotten significantly smoother. I almost look like a whole new person.
