fabulous villains

Ben Mendelsohn as Director Orson Krennic

Krennic is a manipulator within the Empire. He understands the system and he knows how things work, but he also is not above trying to bend it to get what he needs or what he thinks he wants.”

He’s also intended to be a contrast to Imperial officers we’ve seen before. “Tarkin is the model for these really cool, icy types, you know? Krennic runs a little hotter than that, so that’s kind of fun and it’s a little bit different… He is unpredictable and volatile.”

“ My dear, sweet child. That’s what I do. It’s what I live for, to help unfortunate merfolk, like yourself, poor souls with no one else to turn to.”

-Ursula, “The Little Mermaid”

Don't you think Dio is kind of a shit villain, to be honest ? I mean he's fun to watch and certainly important but he doesn't have much to him, he's just evil for the sake of being evil. Maybe I just don't see the appeal of the character.

Not at all, Dio’s a fabulous villain. I’m someone who gets bored easily but Dio never bores me.  And I think you’re missing the point of him if you get hung up on this arbitrary idea that a character who’s evil can’t be written in a complex and engaging way.

There’s a lot going on with Dio - his personality, the different ways he’s visually represented (and presents himself - Dio’s a very self-aware villain) throughout the series, and how his charisma acts almost as a type of physical force on all the other characters that encounter him - it’s why Araki built so much of the series around him.  But if you get too lost in needing a “good enough” explanation for why he’s evil, something that in his case is a given, you’ll miss all the interest in his character.

Akum-Sona?!!

I am really happy to see people making Akuma versions of themselves! like Akum-sona’s!! i want to see more!! everybody in this fandom should make an Akuma persona of themselves and post it.

  • -Why did they become an Akuma?
  • -Whats the object the Akuma infests?
  • -What are their powers?

I want to see everybody making themselves into fabulous villains!! And I mean come on, who hasn’t always wanted to make a villainous persona for themselves?!

Also i know thats the dumbest name ever but i could not think of anything better!

EXCLUSIVE 'Once Upon a Time' Scoop: Get to Know the Queens of Darkness!

A trifecta of evil is headed to Storybrooke — and we’ve got everything you need to know!

The winter premiere of Once Upon a Time is still more than a month away, (it’s March 1 to be exact) but we’ve got exclusive details from executive producers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis to magically help pass the time.

Now that we’ve gifted you with the romance rundown of all your favorite fairytale couples, it’s time to focus on their fierce and fabulous villains that are headed our way in the second half of season four. The Queen of Darkness — Maleficent, Ursella and Cruella — are ready to get their wicked revenge and they’re teaming up to unleash a whole new chapter of hell.

When we re-connect with Emma (Jennifer Morrison), Regina (Lana Parilla) and the rest of Storybrooke’s finest, six weeks will have passed since the Spell of Shattered sight cursed the town. So of course, that means it’s time for the next wave of evil to attack. (Our poor characters never seem to catch a break!)

“This back half is a lot about what makes a hero and what makes a villain, and it’s about trying to realize our happy endings,” Kitsis shared.

Speaking of heroes versus villains, Kitsis and Horowitz teased that’s a “safe assumption” for fans to believe that recently-banished Rumplestilksin (Robert Carlyle) has kept busy these past six weeks by tracking down the three most wicked villain-ettes in Disney history.

Not only are we definitely going to discover how the Queens of Darkness ended up outside of the town’s limits, we’re also going to learn that each malevolent lady has a hidden past with Regina. Since we know how impatient all of our fellow OUAT fans are, we asked Kistis and Horowitz to give us an exclusive preview of what we can expect from each dangerous diva.
