f ing awesome

Thanks for the reply. The DKR one had the title re-written to say Grandpa Batman is F-ing Awesome (i think including the stars). The theme was something along the line of comic book covers if they were more honest or something. The famous Christophers one also included The Human Target and made a few snarks about Chris Summers’ midlife crisis status aboard a ship called the Starjammer 'because Spacecock was taken’. The theme there was actually grading the various Chris’s in comics.

Okay that DKR one was definitely mine.

Took me a while, but I found them, both from wayyyy back. Renaming Comics By What You Say About Them (an early humor piece for ComicsAlliance) and Ranking The Chrises In Comics (from the dying days of the ISB in 2009).

Please note that like a lot of writers, I find most (if not all) of the stuff I wrote 7 or 8 years ago to be Pretty Bad, Actually, so your mileage here may vary. I do, however, stand by “Suck it, haters, Darkhawk’s awesome.”

I love you all so much!

Seriously guys, the Berena fandom is so f-ing awesome! Everybody posting all these funny things and random thoughts. I love you all to pieces. You make my day every day!

Just wanted that out in the open.

Hi, I’m Matthew MacDougal. And this is my lesson for this year, or this is what I learned. I learned this year that I should take every opportunity, gather all the life experience as you can, and I live like my grandfather did. So when I have grandchildren, their little brilliant minds will want to stay up and hear stories about my life experiences. I will live to be a f—ing awesome true story teller. And I also learned that it is easier to make friends with a stranger who you have nothing in common with than a neighbor than a neighbor with the same interests. So get out there, make mistakes and make memories. Thank you.

Well, to your "describe my blog in one sentence" post I tried to send in the following doggerel, but accidentally only sent the first line, which makes me look even stupider than I am already. So here the full thing is: "Reflections on writing/And hot British men/Screencaps to ogle/Again and again/Honest analyses/Of life without number--/All gems that I've gleaned/From reading your tumblr." Sorry.

!!!!! I LOVE IT!:

Charlize Theron: ‘We had some rough spots in this movie. I don’t think any actors would have not had some rough spots. But at the end of the day, I got to work with one of the greatest, and I’m really grateful for that.’

Tom Hardy
: ‘‘Charlize is one of the most instinctive, dangerous and beautiful actors of her generation, and someone I greatly admire.’

Charlize Theron revealed in an Esquire Interview that after wrapping the film, Tom Hardy gave her a self-portrait of himself with the message:
You’re an absolute nightmare, BUT you are also f***ing awesome.’

Steven Yeun addresses the “f—ing awesome” arrival of Negan on The Walking Dead

We’re all looking forward to the appearance of the real Negan when Jeffrey Dean Morgan makes his debut as the charismatic Walking Dead villain in the season 6 finale. But if there is one person who had every right to dread his arrival, it is Steven Yeun, who plays Glenn.

On choosing between acting and singing: “I think it’s a case-by-case situation. I’m trying to be conscious and do things that are thought-provoking on both sides of the spectrum. But I really do love both.”

On his current music obsessions: “I love WSTRN — this song called ‘In2’ is a big hit in the U.K. — and Alina Baraz’s Urban Flora album. I love Zara Larsson, Jessie Ware, Bea Miller. The Justin Bieber record? I think it’s f—ing awesome.“

On the most random famous person on his phone: "Probably Ashton Kutcher? This one time we were trying to find people to play softball, and we heard that he likes to play, so I thought about writing him a text like, 'Hey, you have no idea who this is, but do you want to play softball with me?’ I didn’t do that.”

On growing up with stars like Miley Cyrus, Demi Lovato, and Selena Gomez: “Yeah, there’s a camaraderie there, a sort of unspoken brother- and sisterhood. If you want to talk about that graduating class of 2008, I’m really proud — it’s a really good group.”

“There’s nothing I don’t want to talk about. If someone asked what I’m into, like a fetish, I’d probably tell them. But I wouldn’t say something about the person I’m having sex with — that’s a line that I draw out of respect.”
