As the doors closed and he hit the button for the top floor, Eisuke couldn’t help but be impressed at the state of the building he was in. He glanced at the gold accents in the elevator, making a mental note for future hotel designs. It was a place that was passable for her, he thought. Nothing quite at the level he wanted for her, but there were more pressing matters at hand. Eisuke twisted the cufflinks between his fingers as the doors slid open, fighting away anxiety that threatened to force him to flee. He took a deep breath and walked down the hall to the designated door, knocking twice as he squared his shoulders.
