extraterrestrial civilizations

In 1974, an interstellar radio message containing encoded information about the human race, DNA, atomic numbers, Earth’s position and other information, was beamed from the Arecibo Observatory radio telescope towards globular cluster M13 and its 300,000 stars as an experiment in contacting potential extraterrestrial civilizations. Traveling at the speed of light, it will take 25,000 years to arrive.

A non exhaustive list of UFO religious groups

                                             Raëlism

“Raëlism (also known as Raëlianism or the Raëlian movement) is a UFO religion that was founded in 1974 by Claude Vorilhon (b. 1946), now known as Raël. The Raëlian Movement teaches that life on Earth was scientifically created by a species of extraterrestrials, which they call the Elohim. Members of this species appeared human when having personal contacts with the descendants of the humans that they made. They purposefully misinformed early humanity that they were angels, cherubim, or gods. Raëlians believe that messengers, or prophets, of the Elohim include Buddha, Jesus, and others who informed humans of each era. The founder of Raëlism, members claim, received the final message of the Elohim and that its purpose is to inform the world about Elohim and that if humans become aware and peaceful enough, they wish to be welcomed by them.”

                                   The Nuwaubian Nation

“The Nuwaubian Nation or Nuwaubian movement was a religious organization founded and led by Dwight York. York began founding Black Muslim groups in New York in 1967. He changed his teachings and the names of his groups many times, incorporating concepts from Judaism, Christianity, and many esoteric beliefs. In the late 1980s, he abandoned the Muslim theology of his movement in favor of Kemetism and UFO religion. In 1991 he took his community to settle in upstate New York; then they moved near the county seat of Eatonton, Georgia, in Putnam County. His followers built an ancient Egypt-themed compound called Tama-Re and changed their name to the “United Nuwaubian Nation of Moors.””

                                      The Universe People

“ Universe People or Cosmic People of Light Powers (Czech: Vesmírní lidé sil světla) is a Czech and Slovak UFO religion founded in the 1990s and centered on Ivo A. Benda. Their belief system is based upon the existence of extraterrestrial civilizations communicating with Benda and other contactees since October 1997 telepathically and later even by direct personal contact. They are considered to be the most distinctive UFO religion in the Czech Republic.“

                                               Scientology

“Scientology is a body of religious beliefs and practices created in 1954 by American author L. Ron Hubbard (1911–86). Hubbard initially developed a program of ideas called Dianetics, which was distributed through the Dianetics Foundation. The foundation soon entered bankruptcy and Hubbard lost the rights to his seminal publication Dianetics: The Modern Science of Mental Health in 1952. He then recharacterized the subject as a religion and renamed it Scientology, retaining the terminology, doctrines, the E-meter, and the practice of auditing. Within a year, he regained the rights to Dianetics and retained both subjects under the umbrella of the Church of Scientology.

In the OT levels, Hubbard explains how to reverse the effects of past-life trauma patterns that supposedly extend millions of years into the past. Among these advanced teachings is the story of Xenu (sometimes Xemu), introduced as the tyrant ruler of the "Galactic Confederacy”. According to this story, 75 million years ago Xenu brought billions of people to Earth in spacecraft resembling Douglas DC-8 airliners, stacked them around volcanoes and detonated hydrogen bombs in the volcanoes. The thetans then clustered together, stuck to the bodies of the living, and continue to do this today. “

                                            Heaven’s Gate

“ Heaven’s Gate was an American UFO religious millenarian group based in San Diego, California, founded in the early 1970s and led by Marshall Applewhite (1931–1997) and Bonnie Nettles (1927–1985). On March 26, 1997, police discovered the bodies of 39 members of the group who had committed mass suicide in order to reach what they believed was an extraterrestrial spacecraft following Comet Hale–Bopp.

Heaven’s Gate members believed the planet Earth was about to be “recycled” (wiped clean, renewed, refurbished, and rejuvenated), and the only chance to survive was to leave it immediately. While the group was against suicide, they defined “suicide” in their own context to mean “to turn against the Next Level when it is being offered” and believed their “human” bodies were only vessels meant to help them on their journey. In conversation, when referring to a person or a person’s body, they routinely used the word “vehicle””

                                  Church of the SubGenius

“The Church of the SubGenius is a parody religion that satirizes better-known belief systems. It teaches a complex philosophy that focuses on J. R. "Bob” Dobbs, purportedly a salesman from the 1950s, who is revered as a prophet by the Church. SubGenius leaders have developed detailed narratives about Dobbs and his relationship to various gods and conspiracies. Their central deity, Jehovah 1, is accompanied by other gods drawn from ancient mythology and popular fiction. SubGenius literature describes a grand conspiracy that seeks to brainwash the world and oppress Dobbs’ followers. In its narratives, the Church presents a blend of cultural references in an elaborate remix of the sources.“

                                        Aetherius Society

“The Aetherius Society is a millenarian, New Age, UFO religion. It was founded by George King in the mid-1950s as the result of what King claimed were contacts with extraterrestrial intelligences, whom he referred to as “Cosmic Masters”. Regarded as firmly based in Theosophy, the Aetherius Society combines UFO claims, yoga, and ideas from various world religions, notably Hinduism, Buddhism, and Christianity. Stefan Isaksson notes that it has “become a complex religious belief system that includes an extraterrestrial hierarchy of various spiritual masters and such concepts as universal karma and religious healing.” The religion’s goal is to prevent worldly destruction by improving cooperation between humanity and various alien ‘masters’,and by using 'spiritual energy’ to improve the spiritual calibre of the world “

if any of ya’ll have hulu watch this:

a documentary, called Children of the Stars, about the Unarius Cult. they’re a group of people that have a “religion” for lack of a better term based around a lot of New Age spiritual concepts like extraterrestrial civilizations and past lives and all of that jazz (Lemuria, Atlantis, the Orion wars and so forth). they still function today but they were really active back in the ‘50s.

lil snippet from wikipedia:

Unarius is an acronym for “Universal Articulate Interdimensional Understanding of Science”. The founder, and subsequent “channels” and “sub-channels”, have written books filled with channeled dissertations from alleged advanced intelligent beings that exist on higher frequency planes. Over 100 volumes have been published since 1954.

boy, were they bizarre but i can’t help but notice that a lot of the information in the documentary and from the group themselves is REALLY interesting. definitely check it out if you’re into the type of stuff you see on my blog. they even made a bunch of films and idk if ya’ll recognize these images or not (if you’re on tumblr you surely do) but here’s some shots from their films:

Dr. Michael Salla PhD - political science professor at American University.

He has done EXTENSIVE research into the claims and backgrounds of Corey Goode, William Tompkins, as well as many other SECRET SPACE PROGRAM whistle blowers. He has found most to be ENTIRELY CREDIBLE.

Watch his video presentation - a compilation of all the evidence he has collected and proof. He leaves no doubt.

This new discoveries on NASA and Google satellite images could reveal that Antarctica was once the site of advanced ancient civilizations that flourished thousands of years before the emergence of other ancient civilizations, such as the Egyptians. The ancient Antarctica civilizations are widely beleived to of had contact with extraterrestrial civilizations with advanced alien technology and left massive civil engineering monuments buried under Antarctica. And although much of the ruins remain buried beneath ice and snow, evidence of their existence is slowly coming to light through NASA and Google satellite imagery

Amongst other things recently found in Google Earth satellite imagery is evidence of an ancient city buried in the Antarctic ice. A massive, circular, 400-ft structure that looks like a fort, giving possible evidence of a lost ancient city and civilization that once flourished on the frozen continent. Satellite imagery, also reveals multiple massive artificial pyramid structures in Antarctica. Is this the location of the legendary lost city of Atlantis?

In any case the most disturbing thing about this new finding is that up untill two days ago the coordinates for the newly discovered “giant Atlantic stair case” worked fine but now there is no map available for these coordinates 68°54'57 .42"S ,88° 1'49.92"E !!!

Climate change for aliens

In February NASA astronomers discovered seven Earth-like planets, potentially harboring life, orbiting the star TRAPPIST-1, not too far from Earth.

Scientists have yet to discover life, or evidence of civilizations, on these or other planets. But in the search for extra-terrestrial intelligence, they often categorize hypothetical worlds according to the amount of energy their inhabitants could potentially harness.

“Too much leisure, and civilization will go to pot. Man was born to work, suffer and struggle, and if he doesn’t he’ll go under.”

“Is life an accident?”

“No, life was inevitable.”

“Only on this earth or do you believe there is life elsewhere on the planets?”

“There must be life on other planets. The sun shines. The stars give out heat. Water collects on the surface. Chemical changes occur that we do not yet understand–and there is life.”

–Nikola Tesla

“Great Scientific Discovery Impends.” Sunday Star, Washington D.C., May 17, 1931.

If you want to begin to understand the origins of Humanity, and why the human collective consciousness has evolved the way it has, I recommend these two very thorough, well researched books by Michael Tellinger. He also has informative videos regarding this subject on YouTube, in which he will also address ‘lost’ energy technologies, one area being the work of Nikola Tesla. When people realize what has happened throughout human history some get a bit angry with all the pervasive deceit, lies and manipulation - I would suggest that anger and hate isn’t the way to go, our discovery of this is all a part of the cosmic game, we choose our incarnations, so no need to get cross :-) But if you do it’s a good opportunity to transmute and let go of some stored pain - to really surrender to, and feel, those feelings. And maybe you can then see what fearful beliefs you have that bring up those feelings/anger (anger stems from fear) within you. And then get back to spreading love :-)

Anunnaki literally means, “Those who from heaven came down to earth.”

And in ancients times ‘the heavens’ meant - the sky, firmament, or expanse of space surrounding the Earth.

I wonder if a solution to the Fermi paradox might be that newly arisen technological civilizations generally tend to develop advanced computing and biological interfaces either prior to embarking upon or in only the early stages of interstellar exploration and solar-system scale construction, which operate on longer timescales, and realize that it is both easier and more fulfilling to create and live in virtual worlds/realities than it is to continue to explore and live in the real one. Maybe the reason we see no signs of advanced alien life is that as soon as it becomes possible civilizations ultimately transform themselves first into a civilization of digitally uploaded biological minds and then just an ongoing lineage of digital ones increasingly divorced from their actual origins as a species, to an inevitable vanishing point where they just become a collection of purely digital agents operating within a computer network within their own solar system, with further, probably non-sentient automated agents handling the power collection and computer upkeep/construction, because that’s all that is needed any more.

Building huge space structures and travelling to other stars is hard and requires a lot of resources and even more time, but in a virtual world you can attain pretty close to anything you can imagine in the smallest fraction of all of that. Yes, you don’t have the satisfaction of knowing that things are real, but when you can’t tell virtual reality apart from physical reality, and when virtual reality is the more appealing of the two, would anyone really care all that much in the long run? We can’t really even know that the current reality is real, it could just as easily be its own simulation. I’m fairly sure that faced with a choice between a hard life in reality and some sort of sublime all-needs-and-wants-fulfilled paradise simulation that you could upload yourself to, most people would choose the latter once the concept was normalized, and while there would be hold-outs from people who would decline, they would be in the minority and would possibly even vanish with time, or else stay constrained to the home planet regardless and still not go on to create the stellar megaconstructs and interstellar vessels we all expect.

At the end of the day we’re all just a collection of nerve bundles and our wants, desires and dreams are attained through electrical inputs to those nerve bundles, even if they do represent things in the real world. At a certain point, it becomes easier to respond to those wants and needs by feeding signals into those nerve bundles artificially rather than going out into the real world and creating those stimuli naturally, which of course requires more effort. The brain, of course, doesn’t really care about where those signals come from either way, because it’s essentially a machine and the same input is just as good, minus the brain’s own personal opinions about the relative worth of real and simulated experiences, which like I said, I think people would care about less with time and normalization.

I mean even now a lot of people are perfectly content to sit behind a computer monitor and get the majority of their outside stimuli that way. Heck, I’m one of them, and I’m probably happier for it. I’m not saying that it would be a bad thing if everyone uploaded themselves to a virtual world, or intending this as some sort of commentary about how people are too reliant on technology, because honestly it’s kind of the opposite? It might from one perspective be kind of disappointing to give up on the real world, but hey, people would still be free to explore and live in the real world if they really wanted to, and if everybody could be completely fulfilled and happy in a virtual world then I’d probably drop my qualms and be for it, tbh. I’m not sure that anything matters all that more than happiness, in the long run. And if people aren’t happy without being in the real world and thus feeling fulfilled, then, eh, they can do that. But like I say it could be an overall trend towards replacing real inputs with virtual ones, for a species over time. It would kind of make sense and would also be at least one reason why we don’t see any real evidence of large extraterrestrial real-world civilizations out there. Because, all intelligent aliens must also have a brain and those brains must also have inputs and those inputs could also be made artificial and simulated in a way that gave them more happiness/fulfillment/pleasure response than the real world, which is less under their control than artificial inputs. So it seems a pretty universal possibility for any civilization which has sufficiently advanced simulation and biological uplink technology, which is pretty inevitable if they’re also looking to be able to travel to other stars in the first place, so, yeah. Could be a thing, and maybe some place we’re headed some day. Which still conflicts me to think about, but maybe from a person in the future’s perspective I’m just a superstitious old-timey luddite who still clings onto the outdated concept of a “real world” or “true reality” when to them the better, simulated worlds are just as real.
