La Sagrada Familia Cathedral by Antoni Gaudí in Barcelona, Spain; I saw a special on this cathedral on 60 Minutes the other night and was fascinated by it! Construction was started in 1882, but Gaudí knew it wouldn’t be completed in his lifetime, so he included several intricate plaster models so that it could be completed exactly according to his plan. I’m fascinated by the way buildings of such grandeur could be constructed during times with far less technology/machinery than we have now. Architecture is so magical!
