More Jin Kim’s style (or kinda) practice!

I had to fight too much with this man’s face. Sweet Jesus I still don’t know if I fully understand how it works. BUT it’s very fun to draw and I’ve learnt a lot of things, such as draw: sternocleidmastoid, oris/oculi orbicularis, angry men, very angry men. Did I mention how proud I am of the necks?

I’d totally love to work on Eponine and Gavroche expressions but sadly, I have to keep working on the portfolio so they will have to wait *cries a river*

Been in Reyes mood today.

And in case you are wondering what’s going on with wind turbines, find that I don’t know either, because people here at work make me question the exact same, as clueless as a person who isn’t part of the conversation would be.

So my message to some special snowflakes at work is..

Our teacher suggested us to practice different styles for our portfolio soo… I tried Jin Kim’s style and failed miserably. BUT I tried.

I had a lot of fun and I actually was dying to work on George Blagden’s expressions since I watched this scene. Concept artist problems.
Anyway! I’ll keep practicing this style.

Javert & Gavroche

The pages of Les Misérables featuring Javert and Gavroche.
I’m SO sad Javert only has one page ;;;;;;; But I’m actually not sure of what more I can use to make the portfolio complete (Meaning, I think I’ve done something with each character showing different skills  like expressions/poses/sketch of poses/props (I have already two turn arounds in the portfolio so adding another one is not very attractive)) sooo I don’t know. I’m not even adding Eponine and that makes me even sadder…
Hope I can come up with something for her, but for now I should focus on the pages I have programmed.
