on why Lynz's behaviour is disagreeable to some (including trashing Mikey, complaining about standing in MCR's stance, being happy about the break up...) - MADE REBLOGGABLE BY REQUEST
– Since a lot of people feel the same way about this matter.
Haven’t you read what she wrote? Don’t you realize she’s all happy about MCR’s break up???
(“6 years ago I married a man in a band that is more successful than my own and 6 years ago the curse of @lusciousjckson settled over me like a fog.
For 6 years there have been handfuls of people every night that come to my show hoping to see my husband. For 6 years handfuls of people come to my show to give me letters and gifts for my husband. They are the minority- just like I was probably the only asshole with an agenda at your show. It stings none the less. Six fucking years ladies, six fucking years.
Please @lusciousjckson, free me from your curse. I’ve learned my lesson ten thousand times over. It’s time and I’m begging. Your friend, @lynzway”)
Actually oh my god… I’ve never liked her much and there are BILLIONS of reasons for that… she’s an incredibly fake person and if there’s one thing i hate, it’s fake people.
Well sue me!
You love lynz? Ok, i’m super okay with that. But i don’t like her. Something about her has ALWAYS rubbed me the wrong way! And it’s never been a secret. I’m not making you agree with me, think what you want, defend her on your own blog, hell, create a ‘LynzISawesome’ tumblr.com for all i care
As for me acting like a 13 year old, well, frustration will do that to you (Frank would have to say a lot about that as well), thank you very much.
I don’t even know why i’m explaining myself, that’s actually ridiculous.
This is my blog and i can say whatever i want. And if i dislike Lynz cuz of the way she behaves, about how fake she is, and full of shit, etc. i can as well express that. You don’t have to agree with me, you can unfollow me, you can send me hate, you can trash me in other tags publicly, fuck, i’m so damn used to that, you wouldn’t be the first, neither the last, so go ahead, i don’t really care anymore.
But this is my blog and i’ll be speaking my mind whether you like it or not. I’ve never pretended to be liking lynz, i’ve never liked her, ppl following me know that. If you guys have a problem with it, then i’m sorry but it’s the way it is and that’s not changing.
Especially after what I’ve seen her do this year….. How she was publicly encouraging hate against Mikey making it seem like they just found out about him and Sarah through goddamn twitter when in fact Sarah had had Alicia’s ring for few months then etc, or this awesome bunch of words she let the world see practically complaining her band was standing in MCR’s stance and how much it was bothering her having to receive gifts for Gerard
WHAT THE HELL???? …..
Like her all you want, but i can see her true colours, one thing is what she says and the image she’s trying to sell and the other thing is what she ACTUALLY does. And i’m sorry but I’m not buying it.
I never speak of her, unless there’s a reason for that. And i think these ‘omg pls someone break the “mcr-gerard” curse already’ was a good enough reason.
Every time I hear the OPM ED I can only see Genos perching on the balcony waiting for sensei to get tf home like this loser probably has a built-in steamer so he irons Saitama’s pajamas while waiting like
This is what I can’t tell anyone around me irl: that I am reacting to and feeling the way I have about the movie, because in Holtzmann they have given us the loveliest joyous female queer action hero with a happy ending (how rare is THAT and when do you think you’ll ever see someone like that again in future), and how freaking much that means to me, coming from a place where people who are not blatantly heterosexual, are invisible, treated as though they don’t/shouldn’t exist, made to stay hidden and underground, told they are abnormal.
Just to make one thing clear:I do not inherently hate minority headcanons of villains. It’s weird, I know, but I don’t. And that’s largely because at least a few of them are created by minorities themselves who are just desperate to have a favorite character look like them.
The thing I do have a problem with is when fandom as a whole decides on a certain headcanon without questioning why they agree with it or personally view the characters that way.
For instance, a minority who headcanons Locus as black because they want more black people in the story is not the same as a white person who looks at Locus and goes, “Strong, scary, intimidating and quiet. Yes, you’re right. That’s definitely a black man.”
My goal is not to get rid of minority headcanons, but to make people question why it is they choose the headcanons they do.
i love the idea of
rincewind accidentally becoming a star student athlete
like, a modern au with unseen university as a nerdy high school/college and ridcully’s looking for student athletes and coming up with nothing until someone points and rincewind and tells him “he’s good at running”
and it turns out rincewind is brilliant, and ridcully bullies him into starting a track team/signing up for interschool races
the unseen university team shows up to inter school matches and there’s a collective “shit, not rincewind” from everyone else
he gets interviewed by a college paper and is very confused by the concept of fitness regimes and diets?? he eats potatoes and runs, there isn’t much to it
ridcully dedicates one of their spare rooms to rincewind’s medals and makes a point of bringing the former dean over when he visits and asking incredibly non subtle questions about the failing soccer team
Ever since she was a little girl, Hinata wanted to give Naruto a scarf as a present, a personal gift from herself to him. Afterwards though, a mysterious figure appeared, with the malicious intend of kidnapping Hinata but ultimately doing so with the wrong person.
That person ended up being her sister, Hanabi!”
So that explains the matter of the scarf, along with the intended kidnapping victim.
Interrupting the pleasantness to say, again… could we please not tag Lin on original posts of bootleg material. He searches his tag to engage with fans, especially fanart and personal messages. A lot of us like having him on here. Putting bootleg material in front of his face when he comes here to talk with fans is an excellent way to make coming here a bad experience for him, one, you know, he might not want to continue.
Not to mention it’s just unnecessarily rude. I know people aren’t used to this in every fandom and a lot of you are new. Lin is an actual personal presence on social media, both including and apart from Hamilton. And I think we’re very lucky to have him. His name in the tags or his handle on twitter is not just a content marker. It’s potentially addressing him. That doesn’t mean you can’t fangirl the fuck out. Tumblr is for fans. It does mean certain things are inappropriate to tag with his full name. Tagging him on bootleg posts is a really crappy way to repay him for everything he’s given and continues to give.
If you have any questions, please check out my #bootlegs tag first.
ELI5: if matter can't be created or destroyed, how does matter currently exist? Isn't the existence of matter already breaking that law?
Matter can definitely be created and destroyed. Mass-energy, however, is preserved. Now if you want to go further with “then how was mass-energy created?” you’re getting into “Beginning of the universe” stuff and we don’t know how that functioned.
Bear in mind that a physical law doesn’t mean “Mother nature has to obey the speed limit” it means “We pretty much always see Mother Nature obey the speed limit.” It is an observation of how we see the universe functioning, not a limit we put on how the universe can function.
Astronomers observed what appeared to be a clump of dark matter left behind during a bizarre wreck between massive clusters of galaxies. The dark matter collected into a “dark core” containing far fewer galaxies than would be expected if the dark matter and galaxies hung together. Most of the galaxies apparently have sailed far away from the collision. This result could present a challenge to basic theories of dark matter, which predict that galaxies should be anchored to the invisible substance, even during the shock of a collision.
The initial observations, made in 2007, were so unusual that astronomers shrugged them off as unreal, due to poor data. However, new results obtained in 2008 from NASA’s Hubble Space Telescope confirm that dark matter and galaxies parted ways in the gigantic merging galaxy cluster called Abell 520, located 2.4 billion light-years away. Now, astronomers are left with the challenge of trying to explain dark matter’s seemingly oddball behavior in this cluster.

All Might doesn’t lie. he may stretch the truth or hide some things, but he’ll never outright lie to someone.
Bakugou says pretty much the same thing in the second panel. he doesn’t do what he doesn’t wanna do, which, as he says, includes lying.
i feel like this parallel is intentional for a few reasons
during the first scene, All Might is talking about One for All. he’s explaining to Izuku about the nature of his quirk, and explaining that no matter how outrageous it sounds, he isn’t lying about it.
in the second scene, Bakugou is about to be rescued by All Might, and immediately afterwards, he’s kidnapped again by All for One, All Might’s most dangerous villain and his counterpart. just before this scene, Bakugou explained that he’s inspired by All Might, which is why he won’t join the Villain Alliance.
i think it’s interesting to point out that we’ve never seen All Might say this to anyone else. just to Izuku. so Bakugou’s declaration is totally of his own violation, not influenced by something All Might said. he’s chosen not to lie because of his own morals.
(of course, Bakugou lies to himself fairly often, and is in denial about quite a few things. but he never says something he truly believes is a lie.)
(also, it’s possible All Might’s said something about lying being dishonorable on the news or at a press release, but still. we’ve never seen it in canon, at least not yet)
