experimenting stuff

The robot equivalent of being under the influence is probably downloading glitchy code on purpose and just being high (can robots get high???) off that

Okay but this sounds really interesting

Imagine programmers that make code specifically to let robots experience stuff like being drunk or high. They go out with their human friends and instead of having a beer they hook up their USB with the code on it and it makes them feel loopy and silly until they eject it again

i’ve been thinking a lot about smol ambiguously biracial harry and the mirror of erised.

because he’s spent his whole life with the dursleys in their proper square house in their proper square neighborhood with their uniformly manicured lawns and their contempt of anything other.

his aunt glares at him when the barber fails to tame his hair and yanks at it too hard when she takes her own scissors to it later. he sees the brief flicker of surprise in the eyes of the teachers at school when they find out he and dudley are cousins. he looks at his pale blonde aunt and vaguely wonders how her sister could produce someone like him (olive skinned? that’s what an old woman at the grocer’s called him once anyway) but he doesn’t dare to ask these questions. it’s just how it is, harry thinks, maybe he’s just different (he’s used to being different).

when he’s ten he gets a letter addressed especially to him, and when he’s eleven he looks up into a strange mirror it feels like he was meant to find and he’s looking at his parents for the first time in his life and his mother is the most beautiful woman he’s ever seen, prettier than he’d even imagined, and his father…his father looks like him. james is darker and taller and sharp with adulthood but his hair sticks up at the back and his hands are so very familiar and his cheekbones are the same ones harry’s seen in the mirror every day of his life and something deep inside him falls into place.

because he doesn’t look exactly like his mum and he doesn’t look exactly like his dad but now he knows why. he looks like a bit of both of them and it’s proof that they lived, that they came together and made him, with his dark hair and light eyes and skin that he’s never felt quite comfortable in.

and maybe he never belonged with the dursleys and maybe that hurts more than he’s willing to admit but he suddenly thinks it matters just a little bit less, because now he knows for certain that he damn well did belong to james and lily potter.

Drack raised Kesh, so I’m just imagining baby Kesh waking up from a nightmare and Grampa Drack up past midnight with his granddaughter, flipping through a slideshow like “this is the m-27 scimitar” *flips* “and THIS is m-15 vindicator”

It’s actually so refreshing to see two guys in the public eye with a huge audience not be afraid to dress up and not say anything about being “too girly” while doing so.

This is not to imply what they were doing in the ‘pastel edits irl’ video was specifically ‘feminine’ or ‘traditionally female’ - I just mean it’s nice (and important) to see them be open to wearing clothes/colours people would typically associate with “girls” and instead just forget about that and enjoy themselves - whilst also being open about how it feels…even if some of their comments were exaggerated for entertainment - it’s still just nice and reassuring!

Generally (outside of the video too), Dan & Phil are very open-minded about a lot of things to do with gender, gender roles, gender presentation and expression etc - and speak about it often in recent years.

I know the video may not really be that…. ~deep~ to many but this is something that’s been on my mind for a while when it comes to D&P and I just wanted to talk about it more after that video posted tonight.

Overall, I’m very grateful to have D&P to look up too. I don’t think they realise what even their ‘silly’ dress up videos can do for viewers like me - who are questioning their assigned gender and the struggles that brings internally and from society - and even those who just have difficulties with embracing the gender expression/presentation they find most comfortable.

so ummm

I know that not alot of time has passed from this moment and until they returned to the ship..

But there was definitely time for Kolivan to receive word from Thace and for Keith to change back into his paladin armor… atleast..

Now, I don’t know if the Blade of Marmora have healing pods or not. And I dunno if Keith briefly spent some time in one and that’s why he looks totally fine and all his injuries from being beaten up to the point he fainted, are gone now..

And I’m guessing we will never know what went on there during that short period of time.

What I’m saying is..

Where is all the art of Shiro treating Keith’s wounds as best as he can in this situation and gently helping him out of the BoM suit and into his paladin armor??? Cuz as far as i’m concerned that was totally a thing and no one can ever disprove it.

Gandalf did you realise that the transition from ranger to King of Gondor was a PRETTY FREAKING BIG ONE

EDIT: guys please stop leaving snide comments trying to educate me on whether or not he was ready, this was just a bit of fun, sheesh. Can’t believe I actually had to say that)

but can you imagine if the paladins go back to earth and get a parade like heroes or whatever but most of all get invited in schools to tell young kids about their experiences in space and stuff like that??

“PFFFT Mars?? We’ve been there. 5 times. We’ve been on 10 DIFFERENT Mars actually.”

“No, the moon is not actually Made of cheese. Sorry guys.”
