The commander. Ex: M from James Bond, or Captain Dickson from 21/22 Jump Street
The person who KEEPS SHIT ON TRACK. Ex: Charlotte from The Princess Diaries, or Andy Sachs from The Devil Wears Prada.
The one who has been kind of shut away and when they finally see the world, they accept it all child-like and excited. But, at the same time, once they've found their freedom they are NOT going back. Ex: Rapunzel from Tangled.
The character that seems super weak and pampered at first, but ends up being TOTALLY BADASS and sometimes a little weak. Ex: Sylvia Weis from In Time.
The one who doesn't really know what is going on, but is always ready to party!! Ex: (not a movie but) Joey Tribianni from FRIENDS.
The one who gets kind of lost and forgets what really matters, and ends up getting out of their relationship (if they're in one) because they're too busy with other stuff. Ex: John from Dear John.
The one who changes. Ex: Danny Zuko from Grease. Or the one who makes the other friends make bad choices. Ex: Betty Spielsdorf from the beginning of S1 of the webshow Carmilla.
The one who really runs shit. Seems super calm, but packs a PUNCH. Ex: (not a movie but) Annalise Keating from How To Get Away With Murder
The one who makes things happen. I don't have an example, but they basically push themselves or the other main character to go across the world for their love, or take that scholarship - they push them to do good things!!
The strong one. The one who can endure anything and end up on top. Ex: Hugh Glass from The Revenant
The person who doesn't let what they're "supposed" to do stop them. Ex: Rachel Green from FRIENDS or Liz Gilbert from EAT PRAY LOVE.
The nurturer. They might not be the biggest part, but they're able to convince the main character that it's okay if they don't save the world, or they tell that person to listen to their head (or heart, depending on the movie). Super integral.
I think Peter Hastings was in a relationship with Mary Drake while she was in Radley and got her pregnant. Veronica might’ve been pregnant at the same time Mary was but maybe she lost the baby in the delivery room and Peter deliberately kept that information from his wife and took Spencer from Radley or foster care(I’m not really sure about this)
This brings me to 7x01. In 7x01 Mary went to Spencer’s house and asked if her parents were there and told Spencer she and her parents “had history”. Mary Drake knew exactly where Spencer lived and her name. I remember Mary said something about the DiLaurentis family being great “secret keepers”
What if Alison’s mom was upset that Peter slept with both her and Mary and found out Mary was pregnant.
It explains why Alison’s mom hated Spencer so much and WHY SHE WANTED SPENCER TO GO DOWN FOR ALISON’S MURDER
My dream casting for The Smoaks on Arrow: Sebastian Roche would play the villainous father to Emily Bett Rickards’ ‘Felicity Smoak,’ and ex-husband to Charlotte Ross’ 'Donna Smoak.'
Ever since Roche popped into my head for this part I can’t get it out and I fall in love with it more and more.
Roche plays such a great charming, sweet guy who can turn on a dime and go completely lethal and slit your throat before you know it. He’s such a fabulous actor and I can easily picture him in scenes with Emily, as a romantic pairing for Charlotte Ross, in a awesome triangle with Roche/Donna Smoak/Quentin Lance, butting heads with Oliver… So many possibilities when an actor is this versatile.
I know I want him to be a villain and I want him to be the kind capable of doing very, very bad things in the name of “love” for his daughter, but I can’t decide if I want Felicity to know he’s her dad right away and have us believe he’s a good guy and then find out he’s not OR be introduced to him as a bad guy first and then, through the course of the story, find out in a shocking twist that he’s Felicity’s dad. Oh the conflicts! Not just for Felicity herself and with her mom but for Felicity/Oliver, Felicity/Diggle (if I get my HIVE wish), Felicity/Team Arrow, Felicity/Quentin… Soooooo good.
