James Sie once again takes over another role for Jackie Chan; this time as Master Monkey in Secrets of the Scroll and Legends of Awesomeness. James had also voiced Viper’s father, Great Master Viper in Secrets of the Furious Five and Secrets of the Scroll. Prior to that, James had voiced Jackie’s animated persona for Jackie Chan Adventures as well as the Fire Demon Sorcerer, Shendu, and Chow, a member of The Enforcers.
Lucy Liu voiced the sleek, deadly, yet sweet and compassionate serpent, Master Viper in all of the KFP movies and Secrets of the Scroll; reprising her role for the LoA series. Liu had previously guest starred in Jackie Chan Adventures playing as one future version of Jackie’s niece, Jade Chan.
James Hong is known amongst KFP fans as the voice of noodle shop owner and Po’s adoptive father, Mr. Ping. I know him best as the voice of Daolon Wong, a powerful, evil wizard and Dark Chi Master whose goal is to become even more powerful and spread evil, either by use of his own magic or with the twelve talismans of Shendu or other magical artifacts he gets his hands on.
Amy Hill had voiced the stern, feisty, and overprotective mother of Tohru as well as Su, the former leader of the Ladies of the Shade, a traveling group of thieves.
In an online group for text-based RPing, we have several Murder Mystery and Mafia games every year, in addition to the main plot. Chi plays a Chaotic Evil character, and Chi, the admins and I are very creative and very evil during the events. Things I said about the events include:
“That’s not what skin is supposed to be used for” - IC as my Lawful Good and very sarcastic smartass character when Chi’s character gave him a gift made of human skin and bones.
“Chi has no skeletons in the closet, she brings them all out and uses them for gifts” - OOC making bad puns about Chi’s creativity.
“Whelp, guess I’m making him a liar” - OOC when I got the role of my character backwards.
“Stupid snake just can’t stop messing around” - OOC about my character who’s possessed by a snake demon, after the snake demon took over for pretty much the entire event.
“I really liked writing the part where my snake demon killed that other guy” - OOC reflecting back on the event where my snake demon took over.
“The human volcano reminds me a little too much of the morbid Secret Santa” - during an OOC conversation with Chi during a later event, referring back to the first quote.
“And then there were zombies” - OOC when the admins decided characters who were killed earlier in the event could come back as zombies.
“My character just got genderbent?” - OOC, self-explanatory.
“I miss my evil plot buddy” - OOC when Chi was absent for several weeks.
“I just broke my character” - OOC multiple times, during multiple events.
