I wanted to visualize their feelings for each other through their expressions. An authentic love cultured from too many underlying past resemblances.
“…That to build on hearts is a foolish thing, That all things break, love, and beauty, Till Oblivion tosses them into his dosser To give them back to Eternity!“ I’ve often evoked that enchanted moon, The silence and the languidness, And that horrible confidence whispered In the heart’s confessional.”
Confession by Charles Baudelaire (translated by Roy Campbell)
RPG Maker Horror games are misleading as all hell. They are all comedy games, not horror games. Especiaally the ones with jumpscares.
The giant teddy bear chasing you from Witch’s House is a comedy masterpiece. When Aya’s evil pop is hollering in laughter before he kills you, you can’t help but laugh along when his dumb grin shows up on screen.
And don’t get me started on that CGI Shark from UTOPIA. That right there is the “Lucy and the Chocolates” of RPG Maker Horror games!
Agh. I want to draw evil Aya. But not sure what color she’d be. Yellow? No, that just seems to drain her. Red isn’t really evil, just rage. Black? Or her regular green but corrupted with another color? Blah.
