Eri hugging night eye’s leg and him walking around like normal and when someone had to report to him they’re a little hesitant since she’s there and he’s just like, “don’t mind her,” so they continue on. Or someone tries to remove her because they think she might be distracting night eye and he just glares at them, taking it as personal offense. Then they both become so close that one day as she dozed off next to him as he worked he saw her future and sees her smiling happily so he smiles and pats her head
Excuse me, how dare you make me bawl out my eyes in joy while imagining this.
Bravo! Everything about this, please, with a bit of more happiness and fluff on top!
Can we just give shoutout to those random people in stories who go up to the couple in question and tell them how cute of a couple they are which makes them both question their feelings for each other, if it weren’t already the case. Like you guys are the ones that set everything in motion. Bravo
So I just saw Moana. I have no words. In the first minute itself I was just so amazed by everything. Just wow. Bravo to the film makers and everyone involved. It’s beautiful and created stunningly. The lessons that it teaches are so important. And it’s so so beautiful to see representation. I literally cried at parts that weren’t even emotionally just because it was just so beautiful. Go watch it if you haven’t.
Note: This is a list of Johnlock fanfictions (both fandom classics and personal favourites) that I vastly enjoyed and would like to share with you. If you choose to read any of the stories, please please please take a look at the warnings (especially for the Darklock!Aus and the Angst fics) and be safe. Enjoy!
26 Pieces: Mycroft gives Sherlock the apparently simple task of solving a puzzle box containing a stolen microchip. It isn’t simple.
Infiltrate: This is a moment Sherlock will look back to time and again as the future stalks forward; an instance he will use to justify his actions, the decisions he will make. He’d known Moriarty was working solely for his attention, even John had recognized as much during the first assault. But Sherlock has been a fool, a dangerous, incompetent fool, because this is so far beyond all that. It always has been.
Applied Linguistics: “He wants to shake John by the shoulders, wants to open his mouth and swallow John whole. Wants to marry him.” Sherlock searches for the right words.
Electric Pink Hand Grenade (sickfic): “If Sherlock’s brain is a hard drive, then these attacks are an electro-magnetic pulse.” Sherlock Holmes does not do anything by half, not even a migraine. It falls to John to witness one of the greatest minds he has ever known tear itself apart, and he must do his best to help Sherlock pick up the pieces.
Midnight Blue Serenity: “This was like nothing John had ever thought to associate with Sherlock: stubble, skin-tight jeans and three small silver rings gleaming at the crest of one ear. It was unbelievable, like stepping into an alternative universe, and John couldn’t stop staring.” When Sherlock infiltrates a club in order to track down a serial killer, his altered appearance is enough to make John question his assumption that Sherlock is beyond his reach. However, is he the only one who appreciates his flatmate’s charms, or is Sherlock at risk of becoming the next victim?
Corpus Hominis: John knows the human body intimately. He’s had plenty of opportunity for study as a doctor, soldier, and lover. There’s one particular body, however, he knows very little about. When Sherlock launches himself head-first into a new obsession and they get sent on a case in an unlikely location, the pair discovers each other’s bodies with confusing yet delightful (and sometimes hilarious) results.
The Road Less Traveled: Sherlock realises that John’s dating habits involve an unacceptable level of risk… what if he meets an unusually tolerant woman and ends up getting married?
Leave the Signs and Sirens: After John’s released and back home at Baker St, Sherlock still feels it. Down the centre of his chest there’s an ache like a healing wound. A physical awareness of a body he usually ignores as much as he can. It’s psychosomatic, nothing more interesting than that.
So We Go Round the Sun: If John is the sun, and Mary the moon, then Sherlock is a dark cloud hanging over them both.
Alone On the Water: Sherlock Holmes never expected to live a long life, but he never imagined that it would end like this.
Equilibrium: At Baskerville, John is infected by a virus that turns him into a genius. But when the infection progresses into neurodegeneration, it’s a race against time to save himself.
We Go Anywhere But the Ground: Every second that ticks by is a reminder of the deafening quiet Sherlock has left behind. John feels his soul slip out of his fingertips, inch by inch, with every passing day. At some point, he stops trying to hold on.
The Faithful Compass Series (uni!AU): John’s drunk and some idiot’s got himself high in the bathroom. It’s a shame he’s the only trainee doctor in the house. (note: my favourite piece of fiction ever written)
Performance In a Leading Role (actors!AU): Sherlock Holmes is an Oscar winner in the midst of a career slump. John Watson is an Everyman actor trapped in the rom-com ghetto. When they are cast as a gay couple in a new independent drama, will they surprise each other? Will their on-screen romance make its way into the real world?
A Study In Winning (tennis!AU): John and Sherlock are professional tennis players and it’s Wimbledon. One is a broken almost was at the end of his career, the other an arrogant rising star tipped for greatness. It should have been a straightforward tournament. It really should have been. How were they to know that a chance encounter would change everything?
Two Two One Bravo Baker (military!AU): Captain John Watson of 40 Commando, the Royal Marines, is assigned to protect and assist Sherlock Holmes as he investigates what appears to be a simple war atrocity in Afghanistan. An intense attraction ignites between the two men as they uncover a conspiracy that threatens everything they’ve ever known, but Sherlock is as much hunted as hunter, and everyone close to him is in deadly danger. Can he solve the case in time to save himself and John?
The Measure Of a Gentleman (pride and prejudice!AU): It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a partner. Less universally acknowledged is that a single man in possession of very little in the way of fortune may be in want of a partner as well, but John Watson had little time or energy to devote to his own wants or needs… Enter one Mr Holmes..
The Bang and the Clatter (baseball!AU): Sherlock Holmes is a pitcher and John Watson is a catcher. No, no, no, it’s a baseball AU.
Mise en Place (chef!AU): John Watson had no intentions of taking over the family business, but when he returns from Afghanistan, battered and bruised, and discovers that his sister Harry has run their restaurant into the ground, he doesn’t have much choice. There’s only one thing that can save the Empire from closing for good – the celebrity star of the BBC series Restaurant Reconstructed, Chef Sherlock Holmes.
Northwest Passage (Canada!AU?): Seven years ago, Captain John Watson of the Canadian Forces Medical Service withdrew from society, seeking a simple, isolated life in the distant northern wilderness of Canada. Though he survives from one day to the next, he doesn’t truly live until someone from his dark past calls in a favor and turns his world upside-down with the introduction of Sherlock Holmes.
and a seperate category for Darklock!AUs
The Cinnamon Peeler: He just wanted John right down to the amino acids that made up his body, and he wanted them in his own body.
The Paradox Series: In which what’s in Sherlock’s head is never going to get any better, and John is nearly thrown out of his flat. (note: this is one of the best fanfiction availiable in the fandom)
YES, EVERYTHING IS A BIT SHITHOUSE, BUT AT LEAST WE HAVE FANFICTION AND YOU SHOULD READ THIS ONE
“Louis is improbably, unfairly attractive. He’s two years older and has the most even tan Harry has ever seen, like he spent all his days in Doncaster playing footie in the sun shirtless, sweat shining between his shoulders blades. He’s absolutely hilarious, his voice sounds like a wind chime, and his smile is crooked and terrible and crinkles up around his eyes so spectacularly that Harry feels like he’s had the wind knocked out of him every time it happens. He uses his very small hands to carefully tuck his very soft fringe of very chestnut hair out of his eyes, and when he’s not yelling, he speaks very softly, and Harry, quite frankly, has never wanted to kiss someone so badly in his entire life.”
My god..I just love this team so much, I love them more and more every day, they’re like my family, my friends, my everything
I will support them, defend them, love them forever no matter what. They will always have a special place in my heart❤️
We faced the toughest teams - Spain, Netherlands, Bazil - and none was better than us. We had chances, but it wasn’t to be.We felt we were better, physically stronger, we felt we could win. We leave with our head up high. Proud. We always give everything.
