everything will link back to the beginning

How People View INFPs vs. How INFPS Actually Are
  • What people think INFPs are like: Precious sweethearts who are -so- emotional and cry about -everything- all the time.
  • What INFPs are actually like: Warriors that are stuck dreaming about the ways they want to help and rescue the people they love, and win love in return. They want the world to be like the fictional one they have in their head and if they are too overwhelmed by life's problems they want to be -alone-, even away from their closest friends, to be upset and jaded at the world.
  • How people think INFPs socialize: When they see their friends, they weep for joy because it's so beautiful, and they just can't take the sheer beauty of the friendship.
  • How INFPs -actually- socialize: Most of their social interactions happen with the version of you they have in their head.
  • How often people think INFPs cry: Everytime the sun sets. Everytime the icing on their cupcake is perfect. Everytime they walk in the park. Everytime the wind blows. Everytime...
  • How often INFPs actually cry: When something has come along to truly, truly break their heart. Which is actually hard to do. When everything that they have desired in life begins to fall apart and they feel their dreams crumbling. When they realize they don't know what to do, to go back to where they were before. When they're watching a sad movie/reading a sad book.
  • How easy people think it is to befriend an INFP: Be a person. Congrats you're their friend.
  • How easy it -actually- is to befriend an INFP: It isn't. You may consider them -your- friend, but they don't consider you the same. You're not really their friend until you prove that you and they share a true kindred link.
  • What people think INFPs dream about: Being rescued by a knight in shining armor.
  • What INFPs actually dream about: Being a knight in shining armor, rescuing.
  • What people think annoys an INFP: Nothing.
  • What actually annoys an INFP: Loads of stuff, including MBTI posts that type us as crybaby cinnamon rolls. Please stop. It's humiliating. Thanks.

Why don’t other school shootings stand out as much as the Columbine High School Massacre?

This question is something I have been pondering over for a long time. Why did Columbine make such a huge impact when school shootings just like it happen so often? What made Columbine so unique? I have some theories as to why this could be.

1. The Duo: I believe the relationship Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold shared is one of the biggest factors. The fact that there was not one shooter, but two, truly captivated so many people. How often can a person find someone willing to go through such heinous acts alongside them, and at such a young age? These two grew up together for many years and shared an intense hatred for the world around them. They knew what they wanted to do and began planning many months before the event took place. Because of this, the Columbine Massacre played out like no other. While most shootings have just one culprit acting on a short spurt of passion or anger, Eric and Dylan had been hellbent on revenge for a long, long time and worked together to make it happen. Neither one of them got cold feet or chickened out at any time, which proves how dedicated they were to each other and their plans.

2. The Trend: Both of them knew how the world would react to their story, that they would gain a large following and a series of copycats. In the journals they wrote and webpages they created they stated many times how they knew society would allow their names to live on forever. They knew 100% that the media attention they would get after they died would cause a domino effect in the years to follow, and they couldn’t have been more right. Since 1999, the number of school shootings has skyrocketed and are even beginning to become a trend. There were 17 major shootings in 2012 alone. Eric and Dylan hated everyone and wanted them all to die, and they were aware that by going through with the Columbine massacre, people would continue to die because of them through proxy, even after they themselves were long gone.

3. The Warning Signs: Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold left a staggering amount of clues and raised many red flags in the time leading up to the massacre, but it still never occurred to anyone how two young boys were capable of doing such a thing. It never even crossed anyones mind. It’s like they left a trail of breadcrumbs that no one noticed until it was too late. The two boys intentionally left bombs and guns in desks and drawers in their rooms like it was a game, and anyone could have found them and prevented the whole thing… however Eric and Dylan both knew no one was looking. They left everything out in the open so that the world would feel the guilt after the tragedy.

4. The Reasoning: The two of them documented their journey and their thought patterns leading up to the day for the world to find after the damage had been done. They wrote their plans and what they were thinking in great detail on webpages and in journals, even taping or recording themselves talking about it. No matter how many times we look at their explanations or reasonings or justifications behind their actions, we will never fully understand why they did what they did, however Eric and Dylan really did try to make it so.

5. The Making of an Icon: The way they looked, the clothes they wore, everything they did became absolutely iconic. You see a black t-shirt with WRATH written in red lettering or a white t-shirt with NATURAL SELECTION written in black and you know straight away where it’s from. The names Reb and Vodka will forever belong and make you think back to them. The black trench coats and suspenders and combat boots, the pair of gloves they shared on the day of the crime. It all seems like one big movie scene and it all links back to them. Nowadays you see the ‘new’ school shooters idolising and copying everything Eric and Dylan did, like wearing their own t-shirts with edgy phrases such as 'Humanity is Overrated’, all trying to stand out in the way the Columbine killers did so easily.

6. The Timing: The 1990’s and 2000’s were a very significant time in our history. Eric and Dylan were a part of the first generation of people to grow up with revolutionary technology such as computers and the world wide web. In this time, media was really beginning to flourish like never before and while there have been school shootings prior to Columbine, none of them ever received such an astronomical amount of attention because the means for it had never really been there to that scale. Columbine was revolutionary and Eric and Dylan, both having an above average knowledge on computers, media and the internet, knew that it was the best time to make the attack. “Producers will be fighting over our story.”

Of course, there is no right or wrong answer to this question. No one will ever really know why Columbine stood out so high above the rest. Our society works in mysterious ways and with so many tragedies happening somewhere in the world every day, there’s no way of knowing what one will make the headlines next.

Counting Stars

Happy, happy birthday, @raindrop-rouge. May your day be filled with laughter, smiles, cake, tea, bubbles, and everything good. This is for you. <3

“You are beautiful,” Eren says one night, his soft-spoken words cutting sharply through the quiet darkness surrounding them and making Levi blink open his eyes to meet a pair of shining eyes that regard him intently.

A contradictory frowns forms on his brow, disagreeing and puzzled. Levi isn’t vain, but he knows his body is too small for a grown man, forged by a life on the streets that only taught him how to survive, leaving behind nothing but broad muscles on too feminine limbs, and a too translucent skin paled by an ongoing lack of sunlight and proper nutrition. His movements are sharp and directed, efficient and precise. Not round and smooth like Eren’s.

His face isn’t pretty either, with the droopy eyes that are too small and colourless, half-lidded, shadowed, and bruised by too many restless nights and cruel days, by sorrows and grief and loss, with his pitch black hair that stands too much in contrast to his bloodless skin. His cheekbones are too prominent, his lips thin and chapped. His beard, if he could grow a decent one, would be patchy and just as odd-looking as he is himself. Something that should have been more than it is.

His hands are petite and calloused, his feet cicatrised after years and years of being tied to the straps. His back is marked by them as well, his neck too thin and aching from the weight on his shoulders.

Words don’t come easy to him, and when they do they are harsh and curt and vulgar, and too often not what he really wants to say. His personality is jagged and his spirit jaded, his core blackened by blood and broken beyond repair.

A life in the darkness has made his body strong at least, battered and branded, but powerful and chiseled as well. It’s making him capable of dealing with whatever is thrown their way, able to do his best to protect. He’s a weapon, edged and deathly and violent.

But beautiful…no.

And yet he can see it in Eren’s eyes that meant every word. Their green and blue is paled by the silvery light of the moon and the lingering traces of sleep, but their intensity is just the same as always, conveying nothing but serious honesty and openness.

Levi swallows and reaches out with a rustle of the bed sheets to brush over a prominent, brown eyebrow, a stubbled cheek, a soft bottom lip that wraps around his fingertips to catch them in a kiss.

Eren, Levi knows, isn’t really what others would call a raving beauty either. His hair is mouse brown and mussy all the time—a wild beast like its owner, always vivid and fighting against an invisible force, stubbornly defying anyone’s will in untidy strands that beg to be touched and caressed and ruffled—or combed—, but also daring to try. His skin is tanned by spending his whole life under the merciless sun, the fading stripes around his neck and wrists dividing the parts where the heat kisses him every day from the part that’s always hidden under his clothing.

Despite all of Eren’s hardship there is no single scar on his body, making it into something that shouldn’t really exist, something dangerous and surreal, something barbarous and threatening, something contradictory.

Then there are his eyes. Not quite as big as they once used to be, but still as expressive. Two shiny, burning flames of neither green nor blue and somehow both, that haven’t lost their feral fire over the years and oddly stand out in that still boyish face that should be much more tarnished than it is. They are just as unnatural as the rest of him.

He is perilous and an oxymoron simply by existing, by still living and breathing. He’s abnormal.

And yet, to Levi, this man is beautiful. Gorgeous even. And then some.

Eren’s pulse is speeding up under Levi’s touch, making him think silly things and dream against all odds. Eren’s body is pristine and warm, teaching Levi that time heals all wounds—at least the ones one can see—and that there is hope. The fury that has once dominated Eren’s features has abated, cooled down into a dangerous, unstable simmer that will never leave completely, and yet every time he holds Levi Eren’s hands are gentle and kind, even when the hunger between them boils over into a rough, all-consuming need.

They trace Levi’s ugly scars as if they were saying hello to a dear, old friend and when they come to rest against the nape of Levi’s neck the fingers begin to play with the stubbles of his undercut in caressing circles like it is everything they ever wanted to do.

When Eren looks at him his eyes are like a pair of gems that seem to have a direct link to Levi’s soul, unyielding, endearing, and enticing, gazing at Levi and laying him bare as if he was the answer to all of Eren’s hopes and dreams, the remedy for all his sorrows and tears, a guiding light through the darkest of times. Levi looks back and Eren holds him there, steady and unwavering, until Levi can feel the blush rising on his chest, his arms, his neck, his cheeks, and ears until the cool night begins to sting on his skin.

“Bastard,” he whispers, and Eren chuckles. Pokes Levi’s nose. Snuggles closer. Smiles. Fills the world with colours and ease.

His laugh is like the sun glistening on the ocean’s surface on that early spring day, fickle and warming, dancing and cheering, lively and vast, lifting and grounding at the same time, like listening to the water caressing the shore in affectionate waves and to the breeze whispering through the marram grass nearby whilst feeling the sand under his naked feet. It’s like seeing the open planes and birds for the first time, stunningly green and too much, yet never enough all at once.

Levi has seen a lot of strange things in his life, but the one laying right next to him in their bed must be the strangest of them all. A miracle.

And he understands.

Beauty isn’t really something you see or that you can measure like tea leaves for the perfect cup.

It’s something that can only be experienced in its entity, something so simple as blinking against the overpowering daylight after nothing but darkness and something so complicated as trying to count the stars up in the sky after being enclosed by clay and dirt for a whole lifetime.

He still doesn’t know what it is that makes Eren look at him like he does. But when Eren pulls him into his arms to hold him against his beating heart and kiss the top of his head, their legs intertwining and their bodies sharing that wonderful heat close-close-closer, he knows it’s Eren’s right to see more than the eyes let on, just as it is his own, and he won’t question it, just as Eren doesn’t in return.

Eren isn’t one to make false promises. Everything he is and does screams blatant honesty and commitment, and yet Levi expects with every passing day that Eren will change his mind eventually.

But this is Eren and the world will cease to exists when he stops loving like he does, with everything he’s got. As long as he’s let he’ll press his velvety smile against Levi’s frown, and pass a silent promise with sweet brushing of lips, meeting of tongues, and connection of something Levi hasn’t found a name for yet.

He seizes it nonetheless and wraps it around his heart, makes it his armour and his shield.

Even though he doesn’t know how long it will last he at least has this and the knowledge that once someone chose him and thought him perfect in all his flaws.

He looks into these too sparkling eyes and smiles, letting himself fall as they begin to count the stars.

Request: G-Dragon has a daughter that is 4 years old and does not know if he is her real father because he is never around.

(For optimal immersion, I am naming your daughter Mirre.)

“Wake up, baby girl.” I whisper softly, brushing the tips of my fingers over my daughter’s soft cheeks. With a tiny giggle, the corners of her lips begin to widen, revealing the adorable smile that melts my heart every time I see it.

“Morning, eomma.” She stares up at me with bright, beautiful eyes that remind me so much of Ji-Yong. She is a spitting image of him. He has always taken pride in it, when he is around, that is.

Leaning down, I press a kiss to her forehead. A hearty laugh falls past her pink lips when I lift her right out of bed and into the air, smiling widely up at her. Bringing her back down, I rest her on my hip and carry her to the kitchen where I set her on the counter. “What would you like for breakfast, love?” I ask, leaning on my elbows.

“Whatever is easiest for you.” She smiles at me. I can’t help but feel overwhelmed by love.

“How did I end up with the most considerate, intelligent, gorgeous, and loving daughter in the world?” I sigh, wrapping her small body in my arms and hugging her impossibly close. She giggles loudly as she squeezes me back. With a sigh, I release her and look through the cabinets to begin making her breakfast. “So, Mirre, your birthday is in a few days. Appa and I would like to know what you want.” I inform, already knowing and having already bought the deluxe doll house she has been swooning over for months.

I wait for a few moments, but when the silence goes on for too long, I furrow my eyebrows and turn around to face her. To my surprise, a frown has settled itself on her pouty lips. “What’s wrong, Mirre?” I ask, becoming concerned.

She looks up at me with a tiny jump, as if she were just startled out of deep thought. “Is G-Dra- G-Dragon my real appa?” She asks.

Every ounce of breath has left my body as I stare at my daughter in complete shock. My mouth slips ajar, the words I was going to speak caught on the tip of my tongue. How do I even respond to this? Why would she think Ji-Yong isn’t her appa? Why would she refer to him as his stage name? I know she has heard me call him Ji-Yong. Many more questions fill my mind but by her silence, I can see she is becoming uncomfortable. “W-What makes you think he isn’t your appa?” I question somewhat sternly.

A frown settles itself on her face. “He never comes home.. I can’t remember the last time I saw him. He didn’t come to my last birthday, he missed Christmas and he missed your birthday, too, eomma. You’re always sad.” Mirre looks up at me with tears leaking from her eyes.

From the wetness on my cheeks, I’m also crying. I didn’t even realize I was sad about this. Mirre brings up a good point. I’ve been ignoring the fact that Ji-Yong is never around. I never wanted to accept it and it has always been easiest to ignore how much I’ve been hurting. “And now you’re crying again.” Mirre sighs, her bottom lip quivering.

“Hey,” I smile, wiping my tears away quickly, “I don’t want you to worry about me, okay? Ji-Yong is your appa. He will be here for your birthday and he will be around more often. I promise you.” I hold my pinky out, grinning when she links her own tiny pinky with my own.

“Hey, babe.” Ji-Yong greets upon answering his phone. My immediate instinct is to melt into his words, but I refrain.

“Hi.” Silence spreads over the line. I can tell he knows something is wrong, which is exactly why he isn’t saying anything.

“Is everything okay?” He questions cautiously.

He genuinely sounds concerned, which leads me to bite my lip harshly, desperately trying to hold back tears. “Ji-Yong..” I murmur, tears already beginning to slip down my cheeks.

A sigh falls past his lips and I just know he is running a hand down his face. “Don’t cry, love. C’mon, you can tell me.” He says softly.

With a deep breath, I am able to compose myself. “You’re never around.” His stunned silence prompts me to continue. “When’s the last time you saw your daughter? She asked me today if G-Dragon was her real appa. She barely even knows who you are.” I rant, all of the words just spilling out of my mouth. “Think about that for a while. Maybe you’ll start putting you daughter before your career, G-Dragon.”

“Happy birthday, my love.” I sigh, kissing Mirre on the cheek. She giggles happily, staring up at her deluxe doll house. The last of the guests have left, and I can just tell how exhausted she is from all the exertion and playing.

“Thank you for the presents, eomma.” There is a hint of sadness to her voice. I can see in her eyes that she misses her abeoji. “Appa isn’t going to come, is he?” She murmurs, her sad, little eyes gazing at the floor boards.

I immediately engulf her in my embrace. “I don’t know what to say, my love.” I sigh, at a complete loss for words. How do you explain to your daughter that her abeoji cares more about his career than he does his family? “Appa is just-”

“I’m here!” A voice suddenly yells from the doorway. Mirre and I both snap our heads towards the direction of the noise. Standing in front of the door, holding a giant, wrapped box, with sweat pouring down the side of his face, is Ji-Yong. “I got stuck in traffic for three hours.” He gently places the box down and leans against the wall. “I tried to get here on time.. this was my chance to show you both that I’ve changed and I messed it up..”

Before his spiel can continue, a tiny squeal interrupts him. “Appa!” Mirre shrieks, bursting out of my hold and sprinting as fast as her miniature legs will take her towards Ji-Yong. “Appa!” She jumps into him, effectively knocking him over.

“Hey baby girl.” He laughs holding her tightly to his body. “I missed you so much.”

“I missed you, too, appa.” She cries. I can see the pain in his eyes just from those few simple words. He makes eye contact with me, but I quickly avert my gaze. “I thought you didn’t love me anymore.”

Ji-Yong lets out a choked sob. “No, baby girl. I love you and eomeoni with all my heart. You two are the only girls I want in my life.” He says sincerely, running his fingers through her hair.

“Did you get me a present?” She asks excitedly. He nods, prompting her to run over and rip away the wrapping paper. “Appa.. eomma already got me this doll house.” She giggles, looking over at him with innocent eyes.

I hold in a laugh, shaking my head. “Oh man… do you want me to return it and get you something else?” He frowns.

“No, it will do.” She grins. “Now my dolls will have two houses!”

As I stare fondly at our daughter, I don’t notice Ji-Yong make his way over to me. “I’m sorry for never being here for the two of you.” He whispers. Heat rushes to my cheeks and I hold back the urge to start crying. “I didn’t have my priorities in check. I don’t want to mess up what I have. You and Mirre are my life. And I’m sorry it took me so long to figure that out.” He runs his fingertips over my cheek. “I love you.”

“It’s going to take more than an apology and some sweet words to convince me otherwise.” I state matter-of-factly, smirking at him. He flashes me a smile before leaning down and pressing a kiss to my lips.

“I’ve got a lot planned for you, love.” He grins cheekily, pressing another kiss to my lips. “You’ll see soon. I’m changing my ways.”

“Appa!” Mirre calls. “Please come build the doll houses for me!” With a quick wink to me, Ji-Yong goes to help assemble the doll houses. I stare adoringly at my small family, knowing that things are going to turn around and only get better from here on out.

Notes: hi guys! I’ve decided I’m not going to keep on putting the links of every chapter I post because, let’s be honest, it takes me ages to do it so instead, you can find the link to the masterlist just above the beginning of the chapter where you can find all the parts of this series along with everything I’ve written so far!

The next couple of days were some of the best days you had in a long time. You went to college every day, you enjoyed all the classes and every time you went back home, Barry was there, at the door, waiting for you, eager to hear about your day and your classes. He also started to tell you about his work at the CCPD. He used to be so busy and sometimes he had to leave out of nowhere when he was called from the police department. You understood and it never bothered you. Every time he left, you took the time to go through your assignments for class and your “secret” assignment: you were digging information about the scarlet speedster.

You had decided to keep it a secret because you knew Barry would try to stop you if he knew. Since you weren’t going to stop, the best thing you could do was keeping it to yourself. Sadly, nobody knew much about him. It looked like he appeared after the explosion of the particle accelerator but you already knew that. There were some articles in some scientific magazines about him but nothing worth your time. There were also dozens of videos and photos of him on the internet but nothing that would led you to him. It was exasperating.

Unfortunately, your secret didn’t stay like that for a long time. A week after the attack, you and Barry were having dinner at your apartment and were about to start watching Game of Thrones. You asked Barry to look for the episode you were both on while you made the popcorns.

“Everything ready?” You asked coming back from the kitchen. But it wasn’t ready.

Barry was reading something on your laptop and it was then when you remembered you hadn’t closed the last sites about The Flash you had visited. Damn it.

“What’s this?”  He asked looking up at you.

“Nothing important” you shrugged putting down the popcorns and sitting by his side. “Curiosity” you added taking the laptop from his lap.

As you felt his eyes on you, you looked up at him and sighed. There we go. You knew he wouldn’t just let it go. With another sigh, you put your laptop back on the table and turned your body to be facing him.

“I’m trying to find him” you shrugged. “I have to talk to him”

“Why?”  He frowned.

“Because…” you sighed. “I…saw something the day of the attack only he can explain” you told him. “And I also want to thank him” you added.

“You don’t have to thank him” he replied immediately, “saving people is his work” he shrugged.

“So? He saved my life!” You frowned.

“He saves so many people’s life and no one is around trying to thank him!” He exclaimed.

Somehow you were glad he had forgotten about the part that you had seen something. You didn’t want to explain anything about Laurel.

“Well, I’m not anyone! I want to thank him” you repeated.

“You have to stop” he almost ordered you. “It’s dangerous” he added. Just like Oliver said.

“You know I won’t stop” you told him death serious.

Barry didn’t want you anywhere near that part of the world. It was too dangerous. And if you kept on digging, you would end up finding out about his secret identity and then, you would become a target for all his enemies. He just couldn’t have it. But there was no way he could explain that to you without telling you who he really was.

“Whatever” he sighed looking away from you, trying to find a way to talk you out of it.

“I’m not changing my mind, Barry” you said. You saw him shaking his head silently before he got up and took his coat.

“I have to go” he said coming back to the couch to plant a kiss on your head before heading out of the apartment.

Really? Did it affect him so much he literally just walked out of your apartment? With a sigh you turned off your laptop and took the bowl of popcorn to take it the kitchen, not feeling like watching anything anymore.

Barry went back to Joe’s house frustrated. He wish he had a way to make you stop but he knew you enough to know how stubborn you could be. There had to be a way to talk you out of it but he just didn’t know how.

“Hey Barr” Joe said from the couch. “I thought you would be staying with (Y/N) tonight” he said.

“Yeah…” he mumbled with a frown.

“Everything okay?” He asked now worried.

“Remember when I saved her last week?” Barry said as he sat down on the couch, taking the beer Joe offered.

“Yeah, from Black Siren” Joe answered.

“Yeah…” Barry sighed. “Now she’s digging about The Flash. She says she wants to thank him for saving his life. I tried to talk her out of it but she’s just…too stubborn” Barry told Joe.

“Sounds familiar” Joe laughed. Barry looked at him confused. “Iris” he explained.

“Oh…yeah” Barry chuckled. “That’s exactly what I mean… Iris’ life was so much safer before she knew about me” he shrugged.

“Maybe, but she’s happier now. Perhaps (Y/N) would be happier as well if you told her the truth” Joe suggested.

“No” Barry said immediately, shaking his head. “I can’t drag her into this. I won’t” he said.

“I imagined you would say that” Joe sighed. “Maybe The Flash can talk to her? Like he did with Iris?”

“Because that really worked out right?” Barry laughed.

“I’m not saying it will work” Joe shrugged. “But since Barry Allen can’t make her change her mind, maybe The Flash can”

“I guess I can try” Barry sighed. “Thank you Joe” he added with a small smile.

“Anytime” Joe smiled patting Barry’s back.

No, you didn’t stop searching. You didn’t even consider stopping. Maybe Oliver and Barry had both told you that it was dangerous but it couldn’t be that dangerous. You didn’t want to face a villain on your own, you just wanted to find a way to contact The Flash. Anyhow, since you knew Barry didn’t like the idea, you decided to do your research while you were at college. At home, you were careful with your laptop every time Barry was around. You used to delete your history and kept all the info in an USB unit.

Sadly, you weren’t closer to reaching out to him than you were at the beginning. You just had articles, pictures but nothing that would help you to find him. It looked like he just appeared at the crime scene out of nowhere and when he finished his job, he disappeared again.

One day, five days after you started your research, you were at the library of your college. You had finished an article about the effects on the economy the new amusement park in Chicago would have and you were now on your own personal research. You weren’t as confident as you used to be but it looked like it was your lucky day:

You discovered a web site all about the Flash. Articles, photos, theories…everything. And all of it came from the very same person: Iris West. Somehow her name rang a bell in your head. You knew you had heard it before but you just couldn’t figure out where. Anyway, she was your best chance at finding The Flash at the moment. It didn’t matter to you that the last time she published anything on that web was more than a year ago. You had to give it a try.

You typed a quick text to Barry, saying you were going to be a bit late for lunch and then you were on your way, feeling excited all over again about this brand new lead. Finding out a bit about Iris West was easy. She was a reporter for the CCPN so all you had to do was Googling where the headquarters of the newspaper were and you headed that way, all the time trying to remember why that name was so familiar to you.

Fifteen minutes later you went through the doors of the CCPN and stopped on your tracks. It was the first time you were in a newspaper so you took your time to look around, wishing you could work in a place like that at some point in your life.

“Sorry, may I help you?” A man had approached you and was now looking at you with a small smile on his face. He looked young, probably on his thirties, and nice.

“Yes, sorry. I’m looking for Iris West, is she here?” You asked with a smile.

“Yes sure, she’s that girl over there. The one with the dark long hair” he said pointing you towards a desk.

You looked over that direction and suddenly it hit you. She was Iris West, Joe West’s daughter and Barry’s best friend. Of course it sounded so familiar. Barry used to talk about her a lot. Remembering that stopped you a little. If she knew Barry, she would probably tell him about this little surprise visit and he would know you’re still digging about the scarlet speedster. That was if he had told her about you…had him? You had never asked him and he had never told you.

Finally, you decided you had to try since you didn’t know when you were going to have a chance like this one ever again. So you just walked over her desk with confident.

“Hello, are you Iris West?” You asked when you were close enough. The girl looked up, confusion all over her face.

“That’s me” she said finally smiling a little. “Do I know you?”  She asked.

“I don’t think so” you chuckled, praying it was true. “My name is (Y/N) and I’m a student at the journalism school” you told her.

“I went there too!” She said with a big smile as she got up to shake your hand. “So what can I help you with?” She asked smiling widely now. She really was beautiful.

“I am…I’m writing an article for one of my classes and since I’m new here in Central City I thought about writing it about The Flash” you said. Sha narrowed her eyes a little but nodded, signalling you to keep going. “So I was doing some research and I found that blog you started a couple of years ago and I was wondering if… you could help me out” you said nervously.

“I certainly gave up that blog a while ago” she chuckled. “But sure, I’d love to help you” she nodded.

“Oh my god, thank you so much! Do you mind if I ask you a few questions now? I have an appointment and I don’t want to be too late” you said taking out your phone to record what she would say.

“Yeah no problem, but follow me” she said.

You followed her to an empty room. It looked like they used to have meetings there. She took a seat and offered you to take one as well. You took out your notebook as well and turned on the recorder after asking if it was okay.

“So…why did you start this blog?” You asked. All you wanted to go was going straight to the point but you didn’t want to be too obvious.

“A couple of years ago, before I started the blog, everyone started talking about this…strike you know? Every time something bad was going on in Central City, it just appeared and saved the day. I guess I got curious, I wanted to know more about it so I started blogging about him” she told you with a shrug.

“But it looks like a very complete blog…how did you get all that info? Were you in contact with him?”  You asked with your heart now pounding against your chest.

“Not really” she laughed.

“But you had an encounter with him right? According to that blog you posted about your meeting with The Flash” you asked her. Once again, she narrowed her eyes at you, suspicious.

“I did but he was the one who found me” she said. “Can I ask you something?” She asked. You nodded with a gulp. “What are you really after?” She questioned.

“What do you mean?” You asked back.

“You claim you’re writing an article about The Flash and yet, you haven’t asked a single question about him” she pointed out.

You stared at her in disbelief. How could you have been so stupid? What would you tell her now? Keep on lying didn’t feel like the best choice. You sighed and turned off the recording and closed your notebook.

“I want to contact him” you finally told her. “He saved my life last week and I need to thank him” you added.

“You can’t contact him. It’s dangerous” she said.

“Stop with the dangerous thing. I just want to talk to him” you sighed leaning against the chair. “You know who he is, don’t you?” You said narrowing her eyes.

“I wish I did” she simply said. For some reason, you didn’t believe her. “Please, stop digging. It will make you no good” she said getting up from her chair and leaving you alone in that room.

After lunch with you, Barry went straight to the CCPD. He had been missing so many days of work lately and he knew he would be facing the consequences if he didn’t get his work done. Joe used to cover it up for him, but Barry knew he wouldn’t be able to do it for much longer. So he went straight to his lab before his boss saw him.

It was hard to focus on his work when he spent most of the time thinking about you. Just like Cisco had said: he was falling hard. You were his constant though, every hour, every minute. There was nothing he could do about it, nor like he wanted to try anything. For the first time in a long time, he felt happy, like everything was in place.

“Hey genius” he turned his head towards to find Iris walking in his lab.

“Hey! What a surprise” he smiled getting up from his chair to hug her. “What brings you here?” He asked.

“Something that happened today at work” Iris said. Barry frowned worried.

“Is everything okay?” He asked.

“Yes but…” she sighed. She walked over Barry’s desk and leaned against it. “A girl came to see me today” Iris said. “She was looking for The Flash”

Barry tensed as Iris said that. He didn’t know how, but he knew she was talking about you. You were still trying to contact him regardless what he had told you.

“Really?” He frowned crossing his arms.

“Yes, she said she wanted to thank you for saving her life last week” Iris explained. Definitely it was you.

“It was (Y/N)” Barry sighed.

“That was her?” Iris asked suddenly excited. “I met your new girlfriend without even knowing it?” She smiled.

“I think so” Barry said running a hand through his hair. “I saved her from the Black Siren last week and a couple of days later I saw on her laptop a bunch of information about the Flash. I told her to stop but apparently she didn’t listen”

Barry felt really angry at you. It really looked like you had stopped this nonsense but he was supposed to know better. You weren’t going to stop.

“I have to talk to her” he said after a while.

“I thought you already did that” Iris frowned.

“No I mean… The Flash has to talk to her” he explained.

“Oh…” Iris said surprised by his best friend’s decision.

That night you were in bed watching a chapter of Friends before going to sleep. You were so tired after the day you had, and also disappointed. You really thought visiting Iris West was going to help you. Obviously you were so wrong and now you didn’t know what else you could do. You had thought about going to the police and ask for help, but you already knew what the answer would be.

Once the episode finished, you turned off the laptop and texted Barry a quick goodnight text. Then you got up to go to the kitchen for a glass of water to take it to your room. Luckily, you didn’t have class until noon the next day. You drank some water and filled the glass again before going to the kitchen. But when you saw the figure standing in the middle of your living room, you let out a scream and dropped the glass, which didn’t even get to touch the floor. The speedster had caught in and put it on the table in less than one second.

“Are…are you…?” You mumbled still shaken up.

“The Flash. Yes” he nodded. He was doing something with his vocal chords that changed his voice so there was no way you recognized it. “I’ve been told you’ve been looking for me” he said.

“Iris told you?” You frowned, finally being able to talk properly.

“Iris is a friend” was all he said. “And you have to stop this” he added.

“Why is everyone so stubborn with that?” You sighed.

“It’s dangerous” he said.

“If I hear that word again I swear I’ll jump down the window” you snapped.

“I would catch you” he shrugged. The both of you stayed silent after that. “You don’t have to thank me” he said.

“That’s not the only thing I want to do” you said.

“What do you mean?” He asked. You gulped, nervous for what you might find out.

“Black Siren” you said. “Who is she?”

“A villain. That’s all you need to know” he replied.

“She’s Laurel Lance and that girl is death” you said. “Just give me an answer!” you exclaimed, desperate.

“I can’t. Laurel Lance is indeed death. That girl is not her. That’s all you need to know. Now stop digging before something happens to you” he said.

“What could possibly happen to me? Nobody knows me here” you said.

“Enough people knows you” he replied. “I gotta go” he said, getting ready to run away.

“I’m not stopping” you said before he ran off.

He stopped and looked like he was about to say something but he what he did was more surprising: he let out a groan. A small one but loud enough for you to hear it. And for some reason, he had forgotten to change his voice, making it sound strangely familiar. Then he just ran off.

That groan… it was the same one Barry used to do when you did something that exasperated him. Exactly the same one.

So many swen I feel are starting to lose all faith and hope in ouat, even the ones who were startlingly swendgame positive. Of course I get it, they're starting to destroy the one thing that made this show great (swan mills family) all in favor for daddy hook and cs. I'd not be surprised if they honestly kill Regina off at this point, I mean if it's the last season what could they lose (besides dignity) ? I just wanted to ask are you still aboard the hope train ?

Hey Anon,

Hiatus fever. It’s a thing. Last thing we’ve seen was Regina and Emma holding hands in the wish realm. Emma singing one day her prince will come while Regina showed up dressed like a prince. I think all it takes to know where I stand is to scroll down my blog a little. In the last couple of months I’ve written more than a few posts.

The Guide
Ruby is Emma’s wolf. Her story guides us to the truth, just like the wolves made Graham remember who he was.

Emma’s Superpower
We think Emma’s superpower is failing, but there was always one exception to the rule. Emma can lie to herself. Denial.

Hook as the Animus
Hook represents a part of Emma she needs to make peace with. It also fits in with what looks like Hook and Emma parenting Henry. It’s about Emma wondering if the darkest parts of herself are fit to be a parent.

The musical
The musical episode fits in with @colyssa’s Women who run with the wolves meta and is a great opportunity to show us how the characters are really feeling. It might be a way to break through the denial.

Snow & Charming parallels
Emma & Regina’s current story matches that of Snow & Charming in the episode “Heart of Darkness”.

True Love crosses Realms
Henry, Emma and Regina’s relationship is the core of the show in terms of symbolism. Their message doesn’t actually work without a True Love’s kiss between Emma and Regina.

Key symbolism
Emma giving Regina a key was a big deal.

The Little Mermaid had some queer subtext going on and she’s coming back.

Emma’s secret wish
Some thoughts about Emma’s secret wish in the wish realm and how the absence of the Evil Queen is another symbol of repression and denial.

Season 7
The spoilers for a reset for season 7 can be linked to Emma’s journeys and their repression. Breaking through it could shake up the world for everyone.

A wedding and a funeral
A short exploration of themes related to weddings, funerals and relationships and what it could mean.

I wouldn’t call what I do hope & faith, however. At least not the blind version of it. I’ve explained my reasoning in this now half-finished series.

||  Part II     ||  Dumb Positivity
||  Part III    ||  Split yourself!
||  Part IV    ||  The same… but different
||  Part V     ||  The need to complete
||  Part VI    ||   Know your ending

One of the parts I hadn’t gotten to yet, was research. I didn’t know anything about fairy tales and I felt like I didn’t understand the show. There are several schools on the interpretation of fairy tales, but luckily Adam gave us one clue. The book Uses of Enchantment was what got him thinking about Fairy Tales in the first place, so we know that they are using the depth psychology approach.

All of the books - you can find a selection here - my more recent theories are based on can be linked back to this book. To Freud, Jung and depth psychology. The references on the show are abundant. It suddenly makes everything make sense. Every part of the show becomes relevant. There are no plot holes and the story threads aren’t dropped, the continuity is in the recurring themes like abandonment, abuse and killing fathers. With every new story we get extra elements… and while everything is relevant, Emma, Regina & Henry are more obviously than ever at the core of this story. If you don’t recognize that, you can’t begin to understand the psychology and the mythology. You can’t decipher the clues. Heteronormativity actually serves to keep the story hidden.

The thing with depth psychology is that it assumes the truth lies beneath the surface. We repress things, but here and there you can see the truth shine through. The entire show is built based on that principle. They use text to tell the main story, but then they use everything else available in audiovisual storytelling to mimic what we hide in our subconscious. The text is full of innuendo and double speak. The music tells its own story, as do the clothes, the references to known stories evoke something else, the setting, the symbolism, the props. The subtlety in the acting is amazing, because even there multiple stories are told.

They don’t try to hide it from us either, they include so much to encourage us to look beyond the surface, like Emma saying the truth is tricky and something to look for.

The actions speak louder than words line is another invite to look beyond the text.

In season one there’s even a reference to the philosopher Derrida. The man is mostly known for his theory of deconstruction. Which - simplified - means that everything that you read holds different interpretations. Meaning changes dependent on context. It’s almost an invitation to pick their story apart the way… well mostly the Swan Queen fandom has been doing from the beginning, but it needs to be applied to everything.

Then I haven’t even gotten into the fact that the Aladdin and Jasmine parallels, OperationOUT, Women who run with the wolves, the circle story structure theory and the recent talks about a different season 7…. All point to Emma & Regina’s relationship finally being taken out of subtext at the end of this season or at the beginning of the next.

So, hope? I guess you could call it that, but it’s not unsubstantiated.

Hi can you please recomend some youtube channels that post things about jikook? Im sorry about my english tho, thanks for your attention 💗

You won’t believe it I had like a whole list typed out and linked and everything and it just crashed cause I was being dumb ;;

So if it’s okay if I just type it out ;; But anyways, Jikook on YT is like my thing because I have no life

The three main channels, which, more or less got me into Jikook waaaay back when, were bfs2angel, Smirk Cookie, & yutensol90 (which no longer exists but I think there’s a replacement channel), so these are definitely must watches, especially if you want older jikook content–so their story right from the beginning ^^ Until this day, these videos make me feel the comfiest, and the fluffiest and I probably wouldn’t be in so deep if it weren’t for them so…these will be your senpais. So mad respects please.

As for the newer channels, which have been absolutely surging lately (WHICH IS GREAT BECAUSE IT MEANS OUR ARMADA IS GROWING) I can think of Kookmin World (everyone’s favourite rn), freshipping (viewer discretion advised but there some good shiet  ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)), taetaeisbae, BusanBoys JKJM (long ass videos which are good to watch before the night ends,…or anytime if you have no life like me), Jeon Jikookie, Jikookis Bae…and idk there’s a ton more that I can’t even list off my head. But these all regularly update and offer great analyses so definitely check them out.

And now, just a shoutout to my favourite jikook video editors/fmv creators:

  • suny-hye - trigger warnings and viewer discretion but there’s some goodstuff. i ’m surprised this channel isn’t as well known as it should be. the editing is absolutely phenomenal dough. it’s like. how.
  • byjungkook - these videos are my absolute favouritestestest and the music choice always gives you extra feels and the way there’s always jimin’s voice going “jungkook-ah~” incorporated always destroys me inside every time.
  • &jiminn99 - similar to byjungkook; found this channel first though. very very nice and fluffy fmvs that just make you feel good :3 definitely a must watch

I’ll also share one of my current favourite jikook fmvs which is amazing by jungbaeri, which I already shared like…earlier in the week:

And that’s it. For now.

Now you guys know how I waste like…all my time ._.

But thank you for asking these questions ^^ I’ve been waiting for a chance to give our YT Jikook community some attention and I guess I found it :) Please enjoy all their masterpieces and appreciate all the time and effort they put into making these because yes, it does take a lot of time to make it all so thorough and pretty for everyone :)

Because I recently read this great post by @starsinursa and also because I made myself (and @tinkdw who might or might not be interested in this post?) cry with this musing I wanted to think more about how exactly Castiel perceives himself regarding the Winchesters and how much he thinks he actually means to them.

Because I feel that he doesn’t get it at all and I think that this might be due to the different concepts of expressing one’s love Dean and Castiel have (I’m also pretty sure there have already been metas written about it but I can’t find them right now! Urgh). Dean isn’t able (most of the time) to actually voice the feelings he has without masking them behind anger, worry, etc. and instead opts for spending quality time, but Cas doesn’t see it as the love declaration it tries to be. Now I want to put a disclaimer here and say that I don’t think that Dean (and Sam) don’t love Cas, not by a long shot, I just want to explain what I thinkCastiel may think.

But let’s start at the end of Season 11. Dean is going to die; he accepted this. And what does Cas say? “I could go with you” (I’m not crying, you’re crying). For him, this is the ultimate proof of his love: to follow Dean wherever he will go, even in death. But Dean can’t accept this – and basically rejects Castiel, instead giving him the order to look after his little brother.

And Cas, even though he’s rebelled against heaven, accepts that order without any question whatsoever. Because he is very focused on things he hears – and in heaven, orders were basically all they had. Quality time? Giving gifts? What is this? Cas doesn’t know this and doesn’t get it.

So now Cas has gotten his order and he fails to obey it. He gets banished, Sam gets kidnapped, and when Cas, Dean and Mary are working together to bring Sam back he’s very eager but it’s all very dog-like. Dean says (in regard to Dr. Marion) “Don’t hurt him. Not yet.”, Mary instead gives him the order to “Hurt him.”. And Cas obeys. No questions asked. He is very violent, which I feel is very un-cas-like behaviour. But he still does it because he wants to fix his mistakes.

When they finally find Sam and bring him back, Cas has his conversation with Mary about how he is still not sure he belongs there. Because yeah, they’ve told him he’s family, he’s their brother, but all Cas gets from this are orders. And of course, why wouldn’t he believe that this is what family is like because this is what he has experienced in heaven for millennia (I also think this is a reason why Cas is so willing to accept Mary into his family because she fits right in AND why I think that Cas being brothers-in-arms-like with the Winchesters doesn’t cut it because it doesn’t help him or offer him a new perspective).

After that, Cas leaves because he still hasn’t fix all of his mistakes. He wants to find Lucifer, and in extension later in the season Kelly and Jack, to finally fix his mistakes and “come back with a win” because he still feels that everything he does fails.

And how does Dean take that? Not well. Because, for him, spending quality time (giving him coffee, inviting him to breakfast knowing full well he doesn’t eat) is the ultimate love declaration and Cas in turns rejects that in order to leave. Urgh. But instead of telling him that and asking him to stay because he needs him and loves him and please just stay I have some free space on the bed (I’m sorry I got carried away) he is angry and instead talks about the topics he deems safe, not noticing how much further he rejects Cas along the way.

Just look at some conversations they had/things Dean said, for example in 12x10: “Gotta make sure you don’t do anything else stupid.” - which of course is not the reason why he wants to go on that mission but this is what Cas hears. He already knows he’s failed at everything, the thing he thought was right (killing Billie for them) get’s rejected too, and now the only reason they even are helping him is in order to see to it that he doesn’t fuck everything up again. How is that love, for him?

And then the infamous scene where Dean has to make the decision to banish Ishim and possibly kill Cas or put himself into danger. Of course he picks Cas because he loves him but what does Cas see, especially with the snippet of the conversation above in mind? Great, now I’m endangering Dean because I can’t do anything right.

(I get so angry and frustrated writing this post *makes frustrated noices*)

When they’re back in the bunker and everything’s as fine as can get, Dean gives him a beer (again, knowing full well he doesn’t actually need it) as a declaration of truth and he also goes as far as explaining that he’s not mad, he’s worried. Which is great, but what does he say when Cas says “I don’t regret what I did, even if it costs me my life”? The next thing Dean says is: “So what are you gonna do if you find Kelly and, uh, Lucifer Junior?” I mean, wow. Dean can’t deal with the fact that Cas may be willing to die so he wants to talk about safer things. And what does Cas probably get from this? I don’t care if you die, just tell me what you want to do about Kelly.

And Cas, subsequently, does everything he can about Kelly. Because he thinks this is what he’s supposed to do, it’s a safe topic for Dean, so he’s talked about it a lot, and Sam – well Sam likes Sam and cares for him a lot, but Sam is not the one who needs to have the rousing speech how he wants Cas to stay in the bunker.

I don’t want to talk about 12x12 because this has been meta’ed to death, but I want to talk about 12x19 in greater details (some stuff was already in the post I linked at the beginning). Cas comes back, and the first thing Dean does is scolding him for ignoring his phone calls and telling him he’s not glad he’s back. And why isn’t he glad he’s back? Because when they actually had an opportunity to kill Dagon, he wasn’t there. So what’s the use for him to now be back? Is what Cas gets from this. He failed again, wasn’t available to help the Winchesters when they wanted him to be (because this is all he’s good to do, he feels) and now he’s back without anything to offer, so…

Of course, this episode is also where Dean finally says something that resembles an actual, honest to god “I need/love you” declaration: “We will find a better way. (…) We. You, me, and Sam, we’re just better together.” And how sad is it that Cas still feels the need to leave because he feels like they won’t have a better shot at dealing with the baby than teaming up with heaven and killing the baby? He wants to spare Dean and Sam this, so he has to leave again.

And Dean, again, sees this as the rejection it isn’t because they just can’t seem to get their act together, tell each other that they love and care for each other and want the other one to stay and deal with everything together. Cas because he feels that this is not what Dean wants and because he wants to be of as much use for the Winchesters as he can (which often means leaving them and dealing with problems alone) and Dean because he feels that he’s not worthy of it and that Cas wouldn’t want to stay anyway.

*makes more frustrated noises* Ok I think I’m done.

queenburd  asked:

hey Mod!! seeing as ur my number one source for gladstone content, I was wondering if you knew if Gladstone (Or any of the cast! Its been a REALLY long time since I watched Ducktales) played instruments in canon? (as opposed to hitting some random notes and it coming out great GLADSTONE) also, I was wondering if your latest comic was in the same continuity as the other Magica/Gladstone comics you made, or just the canon comics. Thanks!

Sure! Gladstone is canonically claimed to be the ‘champion ukulele player of Duckburg’ in one of Carl Barks’ comics, Good Canoes and Bad Canoes-

as for the continuity of my comics, I guess I try to write them so they can either be stand alone or linked to one another- the canon comics sort of have the rule that everything gets set back to a certain default. Even if the ducks have gradually evolved and had character development, there are never any huge shifts; Donald never marries Daisy, Gyro never dies from blowing himself up, and none of them age! Imagine how weird it would be if they did? So yeah, I go from the same perspective- namely, Gladstone and Magica will always be the characters they are recognized to be at the beginning (and in some way the end) of the doodle comics I write; whether or not the previous doodle comics ‘have happened’ to them is up to you as the reader!

The day of your wedding was beautiful, magical, lovely, it was everything you had ever wanted and more. You were currently sitting in your dressing area with your best friends and family. Your family loved Tyler, so did your friends, so they couldn’t be happier with the fact that you were marrying him. Your hair had finally been done, your dress was on, makeup was flawless, everything on your end was ready to go. “You ready?” Your parent asked. You nod your head and stand at the back of the line behind all of the bridesmaids, groomsmen, and your maid of honor. She was with Josh, seeing as he was Tyler’s best man. You look between heads and see Tyler under the Pew, looking nervous, but also having the biggest smile on his face. Once everyone has gone down the aisle, the crowds of people in seats stand, and you know it’s your turn to walk. You loop arms with your parent and push through the doors, immediately seeing people begin to cry, Tyler included. You look over to Josh as well, who was smiling happily at you, but still, a hint of sadness resonated in his eyes. You clear your throat and link hands with Tyler as the officiant begins their speech. You each say your vows, before kissing each other, and the friends and family applaud. You smile at everyone as you to walk hand in hand back down the aisle. Once inside, Tyler runs with you up the stairs and shuts the door behind him. “Hello, Mrs. Joseph” he says, smiling as big as he could. “Mrs. Joseph, I like the sound of that” you say as he takes a step closer. You wrap your arms around him and you kiss deeply, everything feeling like it had more meaning. “We should get back, that party is for us, you know” you say, pulling back. Tyler lets out a frustrated groan before opening the door and letting you out first. You walk back down the stairs and go outside, where the reception was being held. You hear a loud applause as the two of you walk out, but all you could focus on was Josh standing in the back. You’re snapped out of your thoughts when Tyler grabs your hand and pulls you to the dance floor. You groan and kick off your heels, obliging to dance. The night was as amazing as the actual wedding, and you couldn’t have had a better time. As the night comes to a close you see that Josh had left early. Before you can even react, Tyler pulls you along to the limo and practically pushes you in. You hit what felt like a person on your way in, and look up to see the familiar mess of yellow hair. Josh. Let’s go back to they night.///////////////////////// Marry me. His words were ringing in your ears and you looked up to see if he was serious. You’re left speechless looking between the boys, both of them expecting an answer. “Tyler, I love you, but I also love Josh. This is something I don’t think I can decide on right now” you say, standing from the bed. “(Y/N) that’s not what I asked” Tyler said. You must’ve been visibly confused, and so was Josh, so he continued. “You were mine first. To the world and anyone looking in, you still are mine and only mine. I don’t think we should end what we've been doing. It would kill me to see how upset either of you would be. But, (Y/N), I love you so much more than you will ever know. I just want to be with you forever, and let everybody know. I want to know that whatever happens between the three of us, you will always stick by me. Because I will always stick by you” he finishes, with a deep sigh. You hear Josh clear his throat, and you look at him to see him nodding, letting you know it was okay. You look back at Tyler, smiling. “Well, Tyler, yes. I will marry you”/////////////// The limo pulls off once Tyler is inside the car, and both of the men look at you, while you look straight ahead. Tyler wanted to get married as soon as possible, so the wedding was four months after that night. In all of that time, none of you had sex, or anything relating to such. Now, the sexual tension between the three of you was as strong as ever. You place a hand on one of each of the boys thighs, smiling when they both inhale at the same time. You lean over to Tyler first, kissing him deeply and running your fingers through his hair. You pull back and bite your lip slightly, moving over to Josh and doing the same thing. After a while of this, you get onto the ground of the limo and help them both unbutton their pants and slide them down along with their underwear. You use one Hand on each, stroking them both in unison. The mix of moans between the men was enough to make you get wet yourself, causing you to start rubbing your legs together. You move your head back and forth between them, bobbing your head on one at a time. You can feel their both reaching their ends, which is why you pulled away and sat back up in your seat. Both of the boys are visibly mad and ask why you stopped. You stay quiet until the car stops, and you get out, rushing to the hotel you were staying in tonight. You check in using your name, and take the keys, the boys walking in not far after. “Why the grumpy faces?” You ask, teasingly. Before they can answer, you move past them and walk to the bathroom, going to a stall. You do your business and walk to the sink, washing your hands. You open the door and look up, just to see two very angry faces staring back. “Something wrong?” You ask innocently. Tyler pushes you back into the bathroom and lifts you to the sink, kissing you hard enough to make your head hit the mirror. Josh checks all the stalls before locking the door and walking towards you and Ty. Tyler pulls off your wedding dress, and sets it on a different sink, his breath hitching when he sees what lingerie you had chosen for the both of them. “Mm, baby” Josh says, taking a step closer. Josh and Tyler were now in front of you, staring hungrily. “You know, it’s too bad this is really nice lingerie” Josh says, pulling the strap of the side of your thing and letting it slap back onto your hip. “Because you teased us, didn’t let either of us finish, didn’t let us speak to you, and the list goes on and on baby doll” Tyler finishes for him. “And when you get all defiant. We aren’t so gentle.” With that, Tyler pulls off your bra and Josh pulls down your thing, with so much intensity strings were popping everywhere and scratched you on the way off. You let out a loud groan and Tyler pulls you off the sink, turning you so you see yourself in the mirror. Josh pulls your head back with your hair, and quickly latches his lips onto your neck, while Tyler pulls one of your breasts in his mouth, biting softly. You don’t hesitate to let out loud groans, the wetness between your legs becoming more apparent. Without warning or hesitation, Josh pushes you down onto the ground, pulling you slightly so that you were on all fours. “I had her last time. Take this as a wedding gift” Josh says, moving in front of you and dropping to his knees. You hear Tyler doing the same from behind you, and also heartbeat sound of their pants dropping to the ground. Josh grabs your head and helps you to slowly place your mouth around his length, but Tyler is quick to shove himself inside you, making you take Josh deeper. You begin to choke slightly, but Josh didn’t let up. Meanwhile, Tyler was giving slap after sleep to your backside, always curling his fingers on the spot after each hit. Josh finally lets you move back to breathe, and smirks when you have to recollect your breath. You ease your way back onto him, making sure not to let Tyler’s ruthless thrusts interrupt you. You steady yourself with one hand and use your other to massage your clit. Tyler takes notice and nods at Josh. Josh pulls your hand away from yourself and looks you dead in the eyes. “We didn’t say you could do that” he says, the grip on your wrist tightening. You nod and set it back down on the ground. Tyler’s thrusts become more rough and fast, his hands now gripping your hips and forcing you to take him as deep as possible. He slowly moves one hand down to your clit, picking up where you had left off. It’s not long after that when you finally spill over the edge, and moan around Josh. The boys weren’t finished though. Even though you were done, they continued to use your body, and Tyler continues on your clit, trying to help you reach your second orgasm. Josh thrusts once more into your mouth, finally pouring what he had down your throat. The vulgar sounds he had made were enough to make you spill a second time, Tyler not far behind. With one last sloppy and hard hit, he came, both of the boys pulling out from you. Your arms and legs were so weak that once they weren’t holding you anymore, you fell over and laid stiff on the ground. Both the boys get redressed, and Tyler grabs your dress, sliding it back down over your body, while Josh slid your bra and panties into his pocket. Tyler watches you struggle to stand, and picks you up bridal style, before carrying you out of the bathroom. “We wore you out that bad?” Josh asks, a softness present in his voice. You nod your head. “And i loved every minute of it”

Headcannons of the champions sharing a bed with their s/o who is moving a lot while sleeping and end up punching them in the face one night

- this is a problem. this is a BIG PROBLEM.

- this is what it feels like to not be able to sleep and he doesn’t like it one bit. he’s tried everything: turning them over, him turning over, putting pillows between them, hell he’s even tried sleeping on the floor but then s/o will wake up and ask him to come back to bed

- finally, with a really firm hold on them, they’ve stopped moving and he’s beginning to fall asleep. but as he slips into dreamland, his grip loosens, and a fist comes flying to his face “THAT’S IT, I’M SLEEPING ON THE FLOOR”

- she’s amused. what are they dreaming of? why are they so active?

- she’ll wake them up, ask, and be utterly smitten by their sleepy face/voice

- that is, until she frantically wakes up to what she believed was an ambush. her guards panic and rush in. she’s got hostility in her eyes and her scimitar in hand, only to realize the fist that hit her was her s/o’s “false alarm guys lol”

- he’s confused and amused but more confused. a little irritated bc he’s mr. grumpykins, but goron children have been known to do a lot of moving in their sleep so he’s kinda used to it

- he’s less positive the next day bc of the lack of sleep, but its fine he loves his s/o and he wouldn’t hold it against them

- when he did fall asleep, instead of being woken up by constant movement, he woke up to the sound of his s/o crying bc their hand hurts from punching him in the face

- irritated beyond belief. he tried to be nice, he really did. he woke them up once or twice to ask them to maybe relax or something. but now its just a battle for the bed

- he started it, that’s for sure. he pushed them out first and they pushed him out in retaliation. neither of them get much sleep until they compromise with a pillow between them

- it didn’t grant them much sleep, so in the morning when revali says something smug or sarcastic, (goodness me, you sleep like a gremlin child) the punch in the face was intentional (unbeknown to him), but he let it go since they were feigning sleep asleep

- the only reason she’s always been so calm and level-headed was because she often got lots of sleep. i mean lots. like, at least 12 hours

- so its SURPRISING to everyone that she has a temper. the first to witness the temper was s/o when they awoke to her hitting them with a pillow. “STOP KICKING ME IN YOUR SLEEP!”

- s/o felt super bad and mipha apologized afterwards, but it seemed to work, and she got her sleep for the rest of the night. the morning after the next night, however, mipha sports a black eye and her s/o has a makeshift pallet on the floor

Chapter 11

You were obviously still flustered from your encounter with Negan when you arrived back at the laundry room; your cheeks were flushed and you were overly distracted. Brianna was quick to notice and asked “Is everything ok Y/N? You seem upset. Did your visit to the clinic not go well?”

Open the Memory Cage

EDIT: this is the old version of chapter 1. I updated it to fit the new canon. New version can be found here. [Link].

Well shit looks like I done wrote my first fic. Here it is in all its glory. I wanted to explore 2B and 9S’s relationship after the end and how they might help each other heal from all the trauma they went through both during the game and from before it started.

Tags(ish): Ending [E] spoilers. 10 pages/7309 words. 2B9S. Quite a bit of angst and feels. There’s a suggestive bit in there but nothing overly smutty (sorry to some of you). References the recent stage play/concert [Link to translation]

Summary: After ending [E] 9S wakes up to see 2B has brought him back to the Resistance camp. He’s unable to believe it’s really her until she begins sharing her memories with him to help bring back his own as well as helping him heal from everything he went through.

Partially inspired by some of @nines-s fics. So I guess it’s sort of a fic of a fic?

Story under the readmore. [Link] for mobile users in case you can’t click it.

Thank you for understanding :) hopefully I will get back to regular posting smoothly.

1. monochrome by simplydrasticvoldy || Rated M, 25.9k (WiP)

“Eros and Ice Daddy?”

“Why, what’s wrong with that?”

“Nothing, nothing. It just doesn’t sound like they’re going to kick criminal asses. More like, swing down a stripper pole and spice up the bedroom. Comprende?”

“Well… what’s wrong with that?”

During the day, Katsuki Yuuri is a shy, bumbling, albeit genius grad student who has nothing figured out in his life.
By the night, he is a masked vigilante struggling to find a cool name for his alter-ego.

Meanwhile, Otabek Altin is a young and new cop who wants to dismantle the entire mafia network of the city right on his first case, and believes he’ll succeed.

Until Yuuri discovers he isn’t the only masked man in town fighting crime, and Otabek lands up with a prisoner that just can’t stop calling him “bitch”.

Basically, an AU where Yuuri and Victor fall in love at university while their blissfully unaware alter-egos try to uncover each other’s secret identity. All this while Otabek’s crush swells a bit bigger every time he’s asked to interrogate Yuri Plisetsky. And somehow, their lives intertwine.

  • Comment: An interesting and amusing superhero au with secret identities and all, the plot looks really promising, and the relationship between Victor and Yuuri as well. Yuri and Otabek’s relationship is notable in this and I really quite like how things are going so far. Characterization has me nonplussed sometimes, but overall a pretty decent read.

2.  Void by copperwings || Rated T, 14.5k

AU in which tattoo-like images appear on people’s skin to help them choose their path in life. Very rarely, a person turns out to be Void: one without pictures. Voids are regarded with suspicion and fear, because it is thought they have no soul and no future.

When Yuuri is discovered to be Void and his home town turns against him, he escapes into the world of figure skating. On the ice he can play the role of anyone and not be restricted by what he actually is, but off the ice it’s a constant battle of trying to hide his true nature from the world.

  • Comment: A really interesting oneshot au (despite the summaries, it’s not of the soulmate nature). It’s a nice concept that’s been executed quite well, and the result is a good read that got my attention for awhile. Would suggest giving this a try.

3. To the Moon by JMonCheri || Rated T, 13.1k

Viktor Nikiforov’s last, literal dying wish is to get a gold medal.

Yuri and Otabek figured it would be an easy goal to accomplish, until they figure out that Nikiforov was an Olympic figure skating champion with already a truck ton of other golden medals.

  • Comment: This one gave me a feeling, wow wow wow. A touch angsty, but it adds flavour to the fic. The conceit is really interesting, the execution really well-done, and this is definitely my absolute oneshot recommendation for the night. I love what the author did with it. While I’m not familiar with the source material, I didn’t feel confused at all.
  • !!! Try it.

4. Celestial Gravitation by Nyerus (dragonmist310) || Rated E, 22.7k (WIP)

The Rossiyan Empire controls most of the galaxy. Most, but not all–not yet. The solution to the Emperor’s ambitions lies in a rumored ancient weapon hidden on a lost world. The small, peaceful planet of Yamato holds the key to unlocking and utilizing said weapon. To secure their interests, the Emperor and his talented son–Prince Victor–venture to the planet to obtain the key: Prince Yuuri of Yamato. Knowing that any resistance could mean endangering his homeworld, Prince Yuuri and his family agree to the Emperor’s terms. But he has foreseen this day coming and he will not go along with their plans as quietly as the Empire may expect him to.

What he hasn’t foreseen, however, is the unlikely bond he develops with Prince Victor–a man he should be destined to hate, but finds he cannot.

If only galactic politics and ancient secrets didn’t get in the way of love.

(A slow-burn, space-adventure AU in which there is advanced technology as well as magic.)

  • Comment: This is a really engaging and promising-looking first chapter. I saw it awhile back but kept losing the link, ugh. The worldbuilding is a little heavy-handed in the beginning, but the author’s done a fair job setting everything up. Everyone’s characters are a little different from how they are in canon because of the AU, but they still feel true to themselves :D
  • If you’re looking for a new WIP to follow, look at this one. (It has space and magic and political shenanigans, I’m hyped)

5. home is wherever i’m with you series by  FunnyLittleOwl || Rated E, 35.7k (WIP)

An homage to Barcelona.

Yuuri and Victor go sightseeing on the eve of the Grand Prix Finals. It’s almost like the city is trying to tell them something.

Or in which there’s ice cream on Yuuri’s face, Phichit talks about boats and Victor should really consider being a professional runner.

  • Comment: a travelling series that takes place in different cities and looks at post-canon vicyuu. I love it a lot. The author’s done well with every city in not making the enviroment description too in-your-face, and it’s just a really heartwarming series. It also explores Yuuri and Victor’s continuing relationship development, as an established couple and later newlyweds, and while it did take an effort for me to get into at first, once I was in it, I was hooked.
  • ( ´ ♡ ⁾⁾⁾) it is really nice

My main problems with Steven’s newfound ability to revive the dead are

  1. The mystery behind Lion has fallen flat on its face imo. We now know what Lion is. Just a dead Lion. That’s it, he’s literally nothing special now. All that mystery built up from the beginning of season 1 is just gone now. It’s dead.
  2. Lars is now immortal, and there’s a pretty high chance he’ll have the powers that Lion has. How is that meant to work into the plot?
  3. There is absolutely no explanation as to why bringing something back from the dead basically turns them into a walking portal. I really hope they explain that, and they don’t just play it off as a weird side-effect.
  4. Nowhere near as much risk, since Steven can just bring things back from the dead
  5. Steven doesn’t need MORE powers
  6. We now have a direct link between Homeworld and Earth, and this seems to be the critical moment for a new overarching plot to begin and for everything to start realling kicking off. But we’ll likely just get a whole load of filler for no reason.
