Upon arriving at the Purist’s Societies Black and White Ball, please present your Galleon under the name Scarlet Tanager.

Due to their low family funds, it took a great deal of effort for Ginny to find a dress appropriate for a Black and White Ball. But, with the help of her mother and Luna, she was able to find something suitable. Molly was horrified to see that the girls had all but ruined the hand-me-down dress by removing the horrid ruffled bodice and replacing it with lace, showing off much more skin than she deemed appropriate. After hours of practicing, Ginny declared that she would not (rather, could not) wear heels and decided her feet would remain bare. After practicing several make-up charms, as she never wears it and cannot for the life of her accomplish a look on her own, ended up with a bold red lip and subtle makeup behind her mask. In her formal attire, Ginny is barley recognizable, even by herself.

Imagine your OTP going to Prom (or a dance or some sort of formal event) and Person A being very excited about it. For whatever reason, something bad happens at the event (could be a wardrobe malfunction or a bad encounter with someone or the event generally not being as nice as they hoped) and they end up going home early and quite upset. Later on, Person B puts on some music and Person A and Person B dance in their living room.
