Let me just make you an exhaustive list of why I love this video:
-it was spontaneous -it’s one of my favorite classic rock songs -robbie and his boys -starts out with jensen teasing jared’s tendency to drop microphones -speight being helpful with the microphone -rob setting everything up carefully -just rob and speight being awesome kings of con in general -the audience’s support from the very beginning to the end -jensen’s voice (better than most real versions of songs) -rob’s voice (loved him since “eskimo”) -robbie and jensen knowing how to sing together -huddle of dude friends supporting jared’s first time playing -jared’s legendary bravery -just jared, in general -jensen altering the “america” lyric for the audience of australians -jensen’s rockstar-quality passion -speight’s “everybody!” to get the audience involved -the clapping, which jensen always encourages -the audience singing and making it sound even better -jared’s smile when jensen jumps up -jensen adding “that’s where we killed ‘em” to the lyric about vampires (he might be confusing himself with his character…again) -the a capella part -jensen watching jared play -someone yelling “yeah jared!” and making him smile -jared’s “you know the words” to the audience -all the guys hugging jared at the end -jared kissing rob -the fist bump -jensen being an actual big brother and grinning proudly for jared -the standing ovation, which big bro ackles also encouraged -jared’s modest “i am surrounded by some talented people” -jared’s forever blowing kisses at everyone who catches his eye in the audience -jensen’s gracious farewell -“wayward son” blasting at the end -how it was basically just an enormous family singing a pretty song together -bonus: jared’s jeans are really cool
Dean doesn’t know he’s in love with Cas when they go to the bar that night. He just drags his friend along with him when he goes out for the night, ready to shoot some pool and drink some beer.
Dean doesn’t know he’s in love with Cas when they laugh together at the bar, Dean telling Cas funny stories from his childhood. He just wants to relax, and it’s nice to remember the good times. It’s even better to see Cas smile like that. Like maybe he’s relaxed too.
Dean doesn’t know he’s in love with Cas when they move to the pool table. He just likes how strong Cas looks with his coat billowing behind him and that serious expression on his face. It’s just nice to have someone like that on his side. Someone he can trust.
Dean doesn’t know he’s in love with Cas when Cas pouts at missing shot after shot. “I understand the physics of this,” Cas tells him, “but I can’t seem to line the shot up correctly to achieve it.” Dean slides in behind him without thinking, because Dean’s a pro and knows he can show his friend the proper way to shoot.
Dean doesn’t know he’s in love with Cas as they bend over the table together, Cas’ solid body beneath Dean’s, their hands touching. But he does know that this feels different, that Cas’ face isn’t normally this close, that his own heart doesn’t usually pound this way.
Dean doesn’t know he’s in love with Cas as he keeps correcting Cas’ shot, curling closer and closer, forgetting that he’s supposed to keep space between them, that he shouldn’t hold his hand over Cas’ that long afterward.
But Dean knows he’s in love with Cas when Cas leans in and kisses him, soft and slow, lips curling up in a smile over Dean’s mouth, silently saying it’s about time, I’ve been waiting.
And from the look on Cas’ face when he pulls away, Cas knows Dean’s in love, too.
In your household nothing was truly what it seemed; your mother was having an affair with her business partner, leaving your stepfather to work himself into a pit of denial. The only person who had real feelings under that roof was you. You felt disgust when your mother would blatantly lie to her husband, you felt overwhelmed and stressed because of university, and you felt the euphoria of your late night rendezvous with Taehyung.
I really want to Marvel x DC comes into a movie just to have a whole post credit scene dedicated to the heroes try lifting Thor’s hammer after the battle. Then Diana walks in and gets confused on what’s going on, someone says Thor’s hammer it’s right there and no one can give back to him. So she picks it up with no difficulty, go over Thor and hands it back to him advising to not let it around as if it was a toy.
Then the rest of the scene is Wonder Woman walking away with no mind at what just happened and Thor having an internal crisis on the fact a Greek God is worthy of reigning over Asgard.
Meanwhile, Natasha is trying hard not to laugh because Thor’s face it’s better than the time she kissed Steve on surprise.
I feel my phone vibrate in my back pocket. “Come over”, the text from you reads. So just like every other Saturday night, I hop into my car and follow the dim street lights to your side of town. As I listen to the radio play, our song comes on. The rain starts to drop down, first as a drizzle, then a downpour. I find myself lost in my thoughts, and lost in the music. I wonder how long this will last. How long until you’ll stop sending those two words, “come over”. How long until those words don’t just disappear, but turn into something even better. I smile as I pull into your driveway, just thinking, waiting. Waiting for “come over” to turn into “come home.
