even as a kunoichi i want to love

Although I respect people’s opinions, I can never bring myself to understand why there is so much hatred for Hinata. She loved Naruto since the very very beginning. I think that itself is enough reason to adore her because she was never against him. He didn’t have to prove himself to her and she acknowledged his beautiful personality before anything else. Meanwhile, mostly everyone had to witness Naruto’s physical strength before actually taking him seriously. Hinata was on Naruto’s side even before he could summon a shadow clone properly, before he could call himself a ninja, when everyone was so fixated on the nine tails that they treated him like he wasn’t human.

Forgive me if it seems like I’m comparing but when people put team 7 before everything, I close my ears. Don’t get me wrong, I love team 7 but when I think about Naruto, I don’t just solely think about Team 7. When we put team 7′s bonds before everything else, we are demolishing the bonds that Naruto shared with others. We are demolishing the fact that Naruto was alone. Every aspect (even the bad ones) in Naruto’s life should all be taken into account and not just a fraction of it. The fact that he found the woman of his life, I would think that people would be happy because the manga starts with this…

And ends with…

If you truly think about it, Naruto’s life is being told chronologically from his years as a boy, to a teen, to a young adult, to a full grown man. The ending is quite beautiful because it shows us just how much Naruto has grown; the fact that he found love! Who would have ever thought that knucklehead Naruto would get married… being the first one out of Konoha 11 at that?! It shows that in the very beginning, he was bereft of love… and the ending is basically his earned blessing because now, he’s united with the woman who loved him even when he was just that kid who sat on the swings and sadly watched everyone from afar.  It depicts his adulthood. When watching this wedding, we shouldn’t be thinking “Why did it not end with team 7!” Instead, we should be thinking “Naruto has grown up” or “He’s not that kid anymore!” It’s his wedding. That marks one of the best days of his life.

Meh, everyone’s entitle to think what they want. This is just how I look at it. This is why I truly adore Hinata and the ending. While I do feel like Kishimoto should have added more into the ending, I am still grateful for the results. In fact, it makes me want to cry when taking in the beginning of the manga to the ending. Watching Naruto as that lonely kid and seeing him now…Kishimoto did such a wonderful job with explaining the aspects of Naruto’s life. I am so proud of Naruto. He’s accomplished so much and now he’s gifted with a woman with such a beautiful heart.

She even faced death for him. We see this puny little kunoichi fight a super strong evil shinobi like Pein and lost with the intent of  protecting and revealing her love for someone who has saved her from herself; someone who broke the chains of insecurity and self affliction out of her. That itself tells you that Hinata has a story of her own. She went through spiritual battles herself so you shouldn’t trivialize her feelings and the role she plays in Naruto’s life. She’s a person too… and she is not perfect. People spend so much time with expressing their hatred for her character when even Hinata herself admits her flaws and expresses her need for change; expresses how she doesn’t even like herself.

In a way it’s kind of like you tell someone “I hate you” and they respond “I hate myself.” She’s not ignorant of her character flaws and that itself makes her even more of an incredible character because this whole time, she acknowledged her bad sides and it gave her more of a reason to want to change into someone stronger. Naruto was the prime source of her strength because he is the perfect example of what she’s trying to become. He motivated her to pick herself up and continue to work hard as both a person and a ninja. In return, she felt like she owed him her life which is why she didn’t care if she died on the battle field. Her sacrifice confirmed how strong and genuine her love really is. This moment in the manga defines just how strong Hinata had become over the years as both a person and a ninja.

I don’t see why it is a problem that she wants to be by Naruto’s side. We are already aware of the fact that she loved him since young. When you love someone, being by their side is more like an instinct. This is why she impulsively intervened in the battle the way she did… and other times…

And, you wanna know something that I find hysterically hilarious? Is that she actually makes it her duty to be by his side. She legit wants to protect Naruto more than he does for her. She wants to be there for him more than she is actually capable… and she BLAMES HERSELF for why he always ends up being the one to save her in the end. It’s hilarious because this girl legit loves this guy and there are still people that don’t actually realize that (I respect your feelings though, but still). Even when she is tired and out of energy, she still tries to make a way to be by his side. Even when she knows she will die, she still tries to find a way. It is plain and simple… Hinata LOVES Naruto. Period, point blank.

But then again, who’s to say that she’s the only impulsive one?

Those subconscious feelings are stronger than a bitch.

Every time she helps Naruto, it is suddenly a “problem”. But, the crazy thing is… every time she DOES help him, he BENEFITS from it completely.

He even admits it every time. If it wasn’t for Hinata’s encouragement, he would have never had the confidence to defeat Neji in the final competition. In fact, he probably would have gotten his ass kicked simply put ^_^ He even THANKS Hinata for uplifting him so sincerely. Naruto’s depression vanished very quickly and now he is back to being himself… positive and full of energy; full of life and strength. Turns out, he actually likes Hinata as a person and understands her better.

Even her intervention during his battle with pein benefited him seeing that Naruto was going to die on spot after all. Next thing you know, he was able to meet his father, he was able to defeat pein, rewarded the title of the village hero, and luckily for him, he is still alive.  He even acknowledges that Hinata’s sacrifice was a “save” on his part. He knows that Hinata wants to protect him hence he clearly assured her that she has already been doing that.

You want to know what’s really interesting about this panel? It reminds me of this…

Mind you, Naruto wasn’t exactly confident about his match against Neji (Like I mentioned before). Hinata uplifted him very quickly just like Naruto was able to uplift her as soon as he sensed how dejected she felt for being saved by him during the war. They are both very good at encouraging each other. It’s like an “eye for eye” sort of thing because they have the answer to each other’s insecurity. You would think that Naruto would have shared his worry to this team mates for those who believe that Team 7 is EVERYTHING. But apparently, he didn’t. For a girl that he considered weird, gloomy, dark , and timid , it truly amazes me that he entrust telling her about his weaknesses than the people he’s been “bonded” with throughout his early journey as a ninja. I’m not necessarily belittling the importance of Team 7 but rather proving that it is NOT the most important thing in the series. We have to be mindful of other characters too because they contribute a lot to Naruto’s character alone.

He even acknowledges the fact that she saved him from falling into the traps of Obito.  He genuinely thanks her and also acknowledges that she “stayed at his side.” So, if Naruto can happily come to terms with that, then I don’t see the “problem.” In the end, he is back on his feet and being the happy knucklehead that we all know and love. We should be happy that Naruto has people like Hinata in his life that will sacrifice a leg and an arm for him; like his parents, like neji, etc. When putting Team 7 over everything, you are forgetting about those other precious people and things that were put in action to ensure his growth, his potential, and the extent of his passionate feelings as a character. Deny it or not, Hinata aligns with all of that and there is nothing no one can do about it.

“But Hinata isn’t relevant to the series because she doesn’t get a lot of                                                screen time.”

Does the quantity of moments dictate how strongly Naruto feels about a person? Are we really going to let time away from a character dictate someone’s relevance to another person? Because, as far as I’m concern, Naruto has never spent a day with his mom or dad… but they are still upheld as important to him. Sasuke has been away from the leaf village for over 2 years. Even in their adult life, Sasuke has been away from the village for around 12 years (if I’m correct). It doesn’t change the fact that Naruto and Sasuke are very close. If screen time was genuinely relevant, then he would have let Sasuke go over the years that he actually spent time trying to find him. Jiraya has been dead for quite a long time… but Naruto’s feelings for Jiraya hasn’t changed. He still cherishes his god father with every drip of blood in his body. Gaara and Naruto are from different villages (we don’t get to see Gaara all of the time) but even that doesn’t dictate his bond with Naruto. Shikamaru is not even on Team 7 but he and Naruto are basically close as well… just like the of rest of konoha 11. Iruka hasn’t had all the screen time in the world but who did naruto ask to be his father in the wedding? Naruto even cherishes that sweet adorable ramen guy (the dude who NEVER gets screen time).  So, can we please stop making everything about screen time? It doesn’t necessarily matter. The QUALITY of the moments he share with another character is what truly defines those special bonds. Believe it or not, he shared quality moments with Hinata hence there would be no point in the genjutsu meaning anything to him. Once he was able to genuinely decipher those moments, that is when he came to terms with his own feelings for the Hyuga. He was able to realize how he felt about Hinata all along… and it didn’t take THOUSANDTHS of moments for that to happen.

anonymous asked:

Sasuke does love sakura why do you think he doesn't?

You know what? I’m tired of this whole “sasuke loves sakura” thing

There relationship is one sided

Yes sakura loves sasuke (even though her love is selfish) however sasuke doesn’t love her and you know what? I dare pro-SShippers to go and comment under this post and prove to me that sasuke ‘loves’ sakura

however before you do that I have a few things to say

first don’t be disrespectful I get triggered real quick when it comes to disrespectful people

you can say whatever you want about the fictional characters you can even trash them Idc they are not real but don’t be rude to me or others then I’ll block you real quick

Second you can’t use ANY of these reasons on why sasuke loves sakura because I’m gonna break them down and show you why these reason don’t actually prove that sasuke loves her

First agrument SShippers love to use to show how sasuke loves sakura

Sasuke didn’t love sakura just because he saved her that’s a weak ass agrument and if that’s the case doesn’t sasuke love Karin also? He saved her against that bear during the chunin exams! Or what about naruto? He saved naruto countless of times in part one so sasuke is in love with naruto also?

Sasuke also saves Karin while they were trying to get the 8 tails so did he love Karin then?

Another thing I want to point out is that the reason sasuke saved sakura is because there teammates sasuke is not this horrible person a lot of people try to paint him as

he wouldn’t just let his teammate die! to be honest anyone could’ve been in sakura place as sasuke’s teammate and he would’ve save them also (ino, choji, hinata, tenten, kiba, shikamaru etc.) it’s not because he loves her it’s because she was in danger and sasuke is not a bad guy

During the chunin exams sasuke does CARE for sakura but he doesn’t love her there is a difference

THE WAR ARC(when sasuke put sakura in the genjutsu instead of killing her):

Sasuke not killing sakura (IN THIS PART ONLY!!!!) just proves how much he doesn’t care for her because at that time sasuke was trying to kill anyone that he had a bond with that’s why he was trying to kill naruto

He even says that naruto is standing in his way to be truly alone he didn’t say naruto AND sakura

And the only reason he put her in that genjutsu is because he knew her dumbass would try to get in the middle of the fight to try to stop them! if it wasn’t for that sasuke wouldn’t even pay her any mind

In the manga/anime there is a part when sasuke asks itachi what the head poke meant and itachi says that it was his way of treating sasuke as little kid that was his way of saying he has no time for sasuke the forehead poke also represents that itachi doesn’t see sasuke as his equal but more so as a child

So sasuke knowing ALL of this still would poke sakura on the head to show he loves her? I doubt it! The forehead poke shows that he has no time for sakura and that he doesn’t see her as his equal he sees her as a child

If sasuke bumped sakura and his foreheads together like itachi did to him to show that there now equals then I wouldn’t dnt mind that to be a sign of affection because that would mean he at least sees her as his equals but he doesn’t do that

And some SS-stans like to say that sasuke changed the meaning of the forehead poke and that’s a head canon at best!

when is it ever implied that sasuke changed the meaning of it? You can’t just pull stuff out of thin air to make your ship look better it doesn’t work that way

Also he doesn’t even poke her forehead anymore! When sakura was giving sasuke his bento box she leans for a kiss he just pokes sadara head and gives sadara a hug and basically ignores sakura

A lot of SShippers try to use sasuke redemption journey as an excuse on why he loves his family and doesn’t want them to die and blah blah blah

However sasuke decided to travel the world and see the shinobi world for himself before he got sakura pregnant, before they were even together! so that doesn’t make sense

Sasuke already planned to leave the village to make up for all his mistakes (however sasuke barely made any mistakes he was right about the horrible shinobi system he should’ve never let naruto TNJ him) he made that decision for himself not for sakura and not for sadara who wasn’t even born then

don’t try to pin everything sasuke does on his family he seems more worried about naruto getting stabbed then his own wife going into another dimension so I doubt he’s really that stressed about his family

Just because sasuke called sakura his wife doesn’t mean he loves her a lot of people are in loveless marriages right now but they still have a wife

Also saying you have a wife is one thing but ACTING like you have a wife is another

At the end when sasuke says that his and sakura’s hearts are connected because of sadara just hurt SS so bad!!! It’s not a good look for there marriage no matter how you try to spin it

he’s not saying he loves sakura he’s saying the reason they are together is because of sadara

Sadara is the glue that holds her parents together if she wasn’t around then there hearts would not be connected

Also I found it really interesting that sasuke answered sadara question that way because all sasuke had to say was that there hearts are truly connected because they love each other and he loves sadara

But he didn’t say that because sasuke doesn’t love sakura the reason he’s even with her is there child! And he doesn’t even live with them! he doesn’t even contact his own family however he contacts naruto any chance he gets

He doesn’t even tell naruto to say hi to his family in those letters he writes him, it’s like he wants nothing to do with them at all

Another thing I want to point out is that sasuke has NEVER once said he loves sakura

He never told her how important she is to him (he always talked about his bound with naruto) the only good thing he has ever said about her is that she’s not a weak women and it’s true she’s not weak but that’s not a deceleration of love!

When he met Karin he called Karin the strongest kunoichi that doesn’t mean he loved her! He just complimented her

A compliment isn’t a sign of love sorry you can point out someone is strong and not love them your just stating facts that’s it! and it’s a fact that sakura is not weak

Also having sex with someone doesn’t mean that person loves them!!!! There is a such thing called casual sex, people have casual sex ALL the time He just wanted a nut and sakura was the idiot that let him nut in her

Nothing has ever convinced me that sasuke loved sakura and I doubt that anything anyone else says will show me otherwise

And the thing is I don’t care if people ship SS but some shippers really get mad if you point out the flaws in the relationship like you have a right to ship what you want and I have a right to say why the relationship isn’t healthy

I don’t have a problem with people who ship SS and know there are flaws in the relationship but still like sasusaku anyways there not delusional

however it’s these SS-stans that think the relationship is so perfect and if you try to disagree they want you to go kill yourself

And it’s so funny to me how people self insert themselves into these characters so bad that they would rather you to slit your own wrist then have you say something bad about there fav FICTIONAL character and it’s disgusting

And it’s not only SS-stans who do this NH and ST die hard stans do it to and its weird to me

Thanks for the ask 🔱

(Sorry this ask got super long the fandom has been pissing me off lately)

I love SasuSaku with all my heart

Because I can’t help finding parallels with my relationship with my BF.

I find funny how at first, I didn’t like characters like Sakura and Sasuke, and also, I kinda hated them a little bit, because I used to think that Sasuke was too overrated and Sakura was full of flaws, which without noticing until now, reminded me of mine.

But as they grew in the series, looking at how Sakura put so much effort in becoming stronger and brave made me think that I was able to do it too, even if some people hates her because their fisrt impression in Naruto’s first part. But I started hating Sasuke more by what he became in order to kill Itachi. Actually, I never forgive him for leaving Konoha. And I felt dissapointed with his “undevelopment” through Shippudden but Adrian made me change my mind; I was misunderstanding Sasuke and judging him superficially.

I identify with Sakura because she never thought that she was beautifil, neither strong, and she had low self-esteem, but she worked hard everyday to change that and she achieved her goals. She’s not as powerful as her teammates, but she grew as a kunoichi and as a person. By watching her character development, I thought that I could do that too, and I’m working like that nowadays.

But what I love the most about her and the main thing I share with her, is her never-dying love for Sasuke, and that is not a weakness, because not everyone can feel that way. And I love my BF that way. Even if he went away, if he changed (and he has done it many times), if he didn’t want me by his side, or if he followed a darkness or an evil path, I would totally still love him, no matter what. My feelings for him wouldn’t change and would still as strong and real as the first day.

And talking about Sasuke, just as my BF, he pretends to be cold, serious, but he’s hiding his true feelings and true personality to others, because he doesn’t want to feel pain and he doesn’t want no one involved in his personal problems. Sasuke pretended to be rude with Sakura because he knew she would follow him into darkness blindly and that’s not a fair fate for someone who’s so kind hearted. He doesn’t want her to suffer, so he choses her well-being above of all and he just want to protect her, maybe not the best way to do it, because he hurted her lots of times, but it was better that way. And after that, he realized all the emotional damage he provoked and wanted to fix that

Even if Sasuke feels genuine and strong love, he’s not good at expressing his feelings and he’s still a little child with fear of being hurted or hurt his precious persons again, so it’s behaviour is a way of self protection and also, to protect them. Again, not the best way. Just as my BF.

I know Sakura is the only one who undestands this, but at first, she couldn’t because her own insecurities and the emotional scars Sasuke’s past actions left on her. But she went through that and Sasuke had to accept his mistakes and he worked to heal Sakura’s heart, also she did on him.

They had to surpass together many hard situations and that was what made them a strong couple with unbreakable bonds. Just as us.

I identify my relationship with SasuSaku not only because we share similar personalities, or my BF looking a-like Sasuke (I started liking Sasuke’s appearance because he reminds me to my boyfriend everytime I see him). I identify with them because their relationship dynamics and their never-dying love. They matured together and we went through so much pain, but that made us what we are now.

Everytime I see them together, I feel happy. Thats the main reason I’m a SasuSaku shipper.

It’s a Neji and Nagato Crackfic!

Y’all…this thing is 1,030 words. I haven’t written that much in one sitting since I first started writing fanfiction. Here’s these two nerds haunting Naruto the Somewhat-Hokage.

@fineillsignup@thetoxicstrawberry@kunoichi-ume You all are monsters and I love you. Also, yunyu, I added your idea for a Shikamaru and Asuma scene at the end. It added some seriousness, but the rest of this is just walls of Neji ranting dialogue.

Edit: also @raendown in case you wanted to see the finished crap.

Not beta-read. Hell, not even proofread. It’s almost 5 am, and I have to be up in an hour. I have regrets.

Uncapping his fourth bottle of Sweet Baby Jesus, Neji Hyuuga scanned the Hokage’s office with a bleary, judging gaze that finally landed on Naruto himself. “This administration,” he said slowly, “is a disgrace.”

What are your headcanons for kibasaku? :o

Sakura wears his genin jacket all the time while they’re dating. It’s really soft and warm and smells like Kiba. He loves it too. Seeing her wear it makes him really happy because it’s like she’s part of the clan!

At first, she was kind of wary about Akamaru and his size. Kiba would tell her that he slept in the same bed and she was like, ‘????!!!! How?!’ She was afraid she wouldn’t get enough sleep, but she soon realized the he was the WARMEST BIG BALL OF FUR EVER.

Hana teased Kiba relentlessly about his crush and would do everything she could to get them alone. She even locked the two of them in the kennel for a few hours after Kiba let it slip that he was going to confess his feelings for her. He didn’t though, so she pushed even harder for him to spend more time with Sakura!!

Tsume respects Sakura and loves how strong and capable she is as a kunoichi. Although she’s never said anything about it, she’d love to go on a mission with Sakura to see her in action.

Kiba asked for a bit of love advice from his friends. Shino and Naruto were no help, so he just went with it and told Sakura how he felt with a quick, ‘So

Akamaru likes you and I REALLY like you, so would you want to go out on a date sometime?’ Sakura accepted and he almost died. He had a big goofy grin and hugged her immediately.

When they really fell hard for each other, Kiba wouldn’t stop talking about her on missions which made any person who had a mission with Kiba groan out loud.

Sakura loves how affectionate he is and with him being around his older sister and mother, she feels comfortable talking with him about anything. They cook together when they’re home and always make an extra plate for Akamaru to have too.

I have so many lol I’ll leave it at this for now! ^^;

@mreyes1994 requested Genma for the Character Ask.  Here you go!

First impression
Is that the coughing guy?  Didn’t the coughing guy die?  No it can’t be, because Ichigo* wasn’t voicing the coughing guy.  Ok, so different guy.  Seems very deep.  Kinda philosophical.  Would probably make a good mentor.  I like him.
*i watched the dub, and the voice actor is the same one who voices Kurosaki Ichigo from Bleach.

Impression now
Is it hot in here or is it just Genma?  Definitly a character I would have liked to see more of.  There are such subtle allusions to his shared past with other amazing characters; he was on Team Chouza with Gai and Ebisu (and why are they not shown being friends i thought people were tight with their genin teammates? PLUS GAI—HE WOULD NEVER STAND FOR THIS LACK OF FRIENDSHIP) and he was on the Yondaime’s Hokage Guard Platoon (he’s 3 years older than Kakashi, meaning he was 17 when Minato died, and therefore learned the Hiraishin as a 15/16 year old.  How is he only a Tokubestu Jounin?  Yes, he needs to be with Raido and Iwashi to do it but still that’s badass).  I feel like Kishi and SP just kind of threw Genma in there when they needed an adult somewhere, or else they wouldn’t have given him so many random qualifications.  Genma has been around, and no, I’m not talking about his sex life.

Favourite moment
When Shikaku starts the mental connection with Genma to inform him that Madara was brought back to life with Edo Tensei, and Shikaku is like “I have something to tell you, and it’s super important that I convey it to you quickly, so don’t ask questions.” and Genma agrees, so Shikaku starts again, “Marada has been reanimated with Edo Tensei—” and then Genma just can’t help but interrupt.  Repeatedly.  And makes jokes.  I love it.

anonymous asked:

What is one thing you would change about the Naruto show, an element that you didnt agree with and want to fix

That’s a good question! 😄
Unfortunately, I want to “fix” a lot of things in Naruto. I love Naruto so much, but the series has its flaws.
1) Neji’s death is still unjustified. The oppressive Hyuga system remains unchanged, even with Naruto as hokage.
2) Characterization of the women- I love all the kunoichi. I think they’re all strong and tough. But Kishi could’ve done a much better job in portraying women in the show.
3) The ending. I’m not a fan of how the series ended. It felt too lackluster for me. In my opinion, all the characters in the show deserved better 🙁

I started watching Naruto about a year ago and even before watching the show I knew how hated Sakura was and I wanted to see what the fuss was about.
My first impression of her was that she was cute of course XD When she said the stuff about Narutos parents I cringed quite a bit but I didn’t hate her.
I admit she was a bit of a brat at the beginning of Naruto and I was waiting for her to do something. The moment I started loving her character was when she cut her hair but even then she wasn’t my favorite it was Gaara who now is my second favorite. My love for Sakura as a character slowly builded over time. I loved how when she cut her hair she wanted to improve herself and fought tooth and nail to defend her friends. She succeeded and got stronger and stronger as the series went on. I loved how she acted human and had flaws like one, she wasn’t perfect and that’s what I love about her. Sakura gets impatient, angry, stubborn, vunerable, I love that about her. She reminds me of myself and shes my inspiration and makes me want to improve myself as a person. Funny thing is the more I saw hate of her the more I loved her XD So if you guys wonder why I love Sakura so much heres why! There is even more reasons but that would take forever. But this is why she is my favorite character of all time <3

Pairing: N/A; Naruto and Himawari (father-daughter bonding)

Summary: Himawari decides she wants to be just like her grandma when she grows up.

Note: Inspired by the above headcanon. I hope I managed to do it justice and I may do a sequel in the future to show how it all pans out, because I wasn’t able to fit it all in this one. Please enjoy:)

“Daddy? Who’s this p’etty lady?”

Naruto looked up from the flowerbeds and over to his four-year-old daughter. The little girl stood poised on her tippy toes, her arm just reaching over the wooden surface at an awkward angle. Her tiny fingers were splayed as she tried to reach for the framed photograph resting in its spot of honor on the table. Himawari’s bright eyes gazed at him inquisitively as she fell back onto her feet and clasped the edge.

“Hmm?” Naruto looked at the frame, which, from his angle, just looked like a wooden line. “That’s mama, sweetheart.”

“No~,” she giggled. “Not that pi’ture, daddy. This one,” and she was reaching again, trying with all her might to point out the correct photograph.

You know what, FUCK YOU. I thought Gaara would remain untouched as a character (except for the hair…) but NO they had to made this novel with A FREAKIN’ LOVE STORY.

I thought he’d escape to all this hetero hell and this queer baiting but this was too much to ask. Apparently now that that the shinobi world is in peace, every shinobi has to end up with someone of the opposite sex of course and every kunoichi are baby making machines.

Just leave the fuck out Gaara being asexual. Or maybe NOT STRAIGHT because he never showed romantic feelings to any girl. The only person he could’ve ended up with was Naruto (don’t even dare to call them a brotp !).

If they wanted to write a novel about him, just write something about how he changed the Shinobi system with Naruto as Kages or how he dealt with the trauma of having 99% of his Division (that’s another I’m angry about, because the anime only showed him being shaken by this 2 seconds and then nothing): he was just 16 and was considered as responsable of hundreds of shinobis jfc. Or maybe how he wanted to ameliorate his taijutsu although his defense is the best of all (if we don’t count Sasuke) and asks for help to a certain taijutsu specialist (I WANTED MORE GAARA AND LEE MOMENTS).

Also: “Gaara Hiden is hinted to be a story of love, something the Kazekage does not know very well LMAO. They’re even erasing one of my favorite relationship of this manga. One of the purpose of Naruto and Gaara’s meeting was to make Gaara understand the meaning of friendship, devotion and more importantly LOVE. Thanks to Naruto he discovered all these feelings and became close to his brother and sister and you’re telling me he doesn’t know love. Okay but what about the ENTIERE chap about how the love his his mother saved him because she was protecting him during all this time with sand. How about Gaara’s speech at the beginning of part 2, about how thanks to Naruto he discovered feelings like pain, love .

Oh yes, this is all gone with all these filler bullshit coming soon. So again, fuck you to the responsables of this fiasco.

I do not hold Hinata to unrealistic expectations

I’m well aware Hinata isn’t the strongest kunoichi, she’s smart but not the brightest, she lacks self confidence, she hides herself. She’s quiet and shy

But she is also kind. She’s sweet, and even at 12, when Neji was attacking her and nearly killed her, she still apologised to him, and she forgave him even after how he treated her

She’s incredibly selfless. And it only shows more in the last, where she saw Naruto had gotten a scraf from someone else, and, though she cried, she just wanted him to be happy. How is that obsessive?

Hinata would have reacted to Naruto finding someone else much like Karin did with Sasuke, because both Kunoichi are selfless in their love

I love Hinata because she struggled so much as child, she faced abuse, loneliness, but found confidence and grew as a result of Naruto, her inspiration. She has such character growth throughout the manga

This is why I love Hinata. Her appearance has nothing to do with it. I favour the Kunoichi for who they are, much like I do the guys

Naruhina does nothing but diminishes Hinata's character. Long ass post

First of all, everyone who knows me knows that I am a huge proponent of Sasuhina. A crackship. This is partly due to the reasons listed below and due to the fact that kishimoto has no grasp on writing love so he can’t fudge up a crackship like he did to the canon ones. I also support Narusaku from the sidelines due to many reasons but this post is about Hinata.

I found that I am one of the very few Hinata lovers who doesn’t like Naruhina as a relationship. I know, I know, blasphemy right? “Don’t you want Hinata to be happy if she’s your favorite character?” Honest to god, I do. I love her with all my heart. I remember she was the kunoichi that I actually liked. Sakura was a bitter 12 year old sasuke fangirl, but even then she grew to be a wonderful woman like the others.

Hinata is a wonderful character. Beautiful, thoughtful, kind, warm, strong, shy and a hell of a kunoichi. She grew stronger and stronger with hard work and became a really admirable woman. She was everything I wanted to become when I was younger. But that changes whenever she is mentioned with Naruto. We never really get to see Hinata without mentioning or bringing up Naruto. Her whole character becomes naruto-centered in Part II unlike part I. In part I, we see her relationship with her father, her cousin, and everything that her character is about. We see her struggles, especially with Neji in Part I. Her development during Part I was absolutely phenomenal. But there are some wrongdoings on her part BECAUSE of her obsession with Naruto that people seem to ignore. They see Naruto as someone positive in Hinata’s life. Giving her strength, but in actuality Naruto has crippled her character.

When we see the rookies in the written examination portion of Chunin exams, everyone is struggling with the exam. Hinata on the other hand does not. She offers Naruto answers to the exam. That’s great except for that fact that she jeopardized her own team’s success. If caught, they will NEVER have the opportunity to retake the Chunin exams ever again. That put Naruto’s team in jeopardy too. Because she wanted to impress Naruto and help him, she put him in danger instead.

Sakura on the hand, wants to raise her hand and give up. But why? For Naruto’s sake. She doesn’t want Naruto to give up his dream, so she is willing to give up and try again next year for HIS sake. Instead of jeopardizing other people for the sake of love, Sakura wants to give up because she knows how badly Naruto wants to become Hokage.

So one relationship helps a person grow(Sakura), while the other breaks the person’s(Hinata) development apart.

As a huge Hinata fan, I was rendered speechless by her sheer admiration of a person she hardly knows to the point where she doesn’t think about her teammates.

This theme also resonates throughout the fighting portion of the Chunin exams. Hinata cheers for Naruto instead of her own teammate, Kiba. She understands it is wrong, but she does it anyway. Why would you cheer for someone you hardly knew instead of a person you’re suppose to cheer for? Have Naruto and Hinata interacted before the chunin exams to the point where it causes her to cheer for him? I understand wanting to support the person you supposedly love, but there is a point where it becomes obsessive.

Cheering someone other than your teammate is not considered good development.

While people see Hinata’s love for Naruto as something positive, I certainly don’t because we never see her negative development outisde of her several interactions with Naruto. And don’t tell me it’s because she is a side character so of course it’s revolved around Naruto.

There have many side characters that have developed without the need to revolve Naruto every single time.

Besides Naruto affecting Hinata, Hinata didn’t have an affect on Naruto throughout the 700 chapters of serialization. Sakura, Sasuke, Iruka, and many others have impacted his legacy and journey way more than Hinata has ever did.

Sakura has shown more support to Naruto and encouraged him since the very beginning while Hinata was on the sidelines. That is one reason why Narusaku’s relationship makes more sense. It is not just friendship but they build each other up while their other relationships tear them down. This is a huge part of why i’m a proponent of Naruto and Sakura’s relationship. Just read the manga for their story, because this post isn’t about Sakura. The only reason why people disapprove of this is because they love Hinata more than Sakura. They love Hinata, so they automatically throw her to the main protagonist’s side instead of thinking. That is why I resorted to a crack ship for my favorite character, Hinata. If you follow their journey, it’s obvious which couple has more positive development versus negative.

In part II, we hardly see Hinata as a character except for when Naruto is brought up. Without Naruto, what does that diminish her character to? Her whole character revolves around Naruto. Without him, she is basically just nothing in Part II.

In the infinite Tsukuyomi, we can see everyone’s thoughts and dreams. Hinata is pictured dreaming about who? Right, Naruto. Granted, the other girls also dreamt about love. That is another reason why I think Kishimoto cannot write proper female characters. To females, there are more than just love. Dead feminists everywhere are probably kicking around in their graves. Kishmoto writing females like that is misogynistic and wrong. He could’ve had Hinata dream about becoming stronger, becoming the Hyuga clan’s leader, dreaming about Neji being alive, dreaming about having a loving family with Hiashi and Hanabi. Anything but love for Jesus christ. This applies to the other girls too.

Naruhina not only diminishes her character, but brings nothing but negative development to Hinata. Neji, her team, Kurenai had a bigger impact on Hinata’s character than Naruto ever will.

Kishimoto has ruined my favorite charatcer by revolving her around one person, stunting her growth in Part II. Her character had so much potential to be something more than just romance fodder. It’s the same thing with Sakura really(and partially why I support Narusaku since they help each other grow), but I digress.

Kishimoto has no idea of what love is and it is evident in his work. He romanticizes unhealthy relationships and imposes a misogynistic view in his writing.

These are my personal thoughts on Hinata and Naruhina, and you don’t have to agree with them if you think otherwise.

Look what you made me do @mesacat13
your AU designs for the kunoichi are so cool, I had to draw them!
And then I sparked an idea later because I wanted practice with April and suddenly had an idea for a Donnie and April interactions… (because I love April and Donnie interactions)
Which I will work on and post later
…even though I still have another fancomic that I am debating on making more of…
But oh well that’s just me…making more and more projects without finishing one :/
Oh well, maybe this time I’ll finish it :)

Chapter Two

Every society has the criminals it deserves.

All of Konoha knowsabout Itachi’s defection, and everywhere Sakura goes she hears rumors about why the Yondaime’s eldest son would abandon the Leaf: because he hated his father or envied his position as Hokage or wanted to marry a girl from a different village. She hears a dozen theories, some so ridiculous that she wonders who could possibly believe them. At first she expects one of the search parties to return with Itachi in tow, but five, six, seven days pass, and the shinobi assigned to retrieve him all return empty-handed.

Itachi is the first of his clan to forsake the village since its establishment, and Sakura herself wonders why he wanted to leave. The Uchiha are practically royalty here; what could have possibly driven him to give up his home and his family?

On the eighth day since Itachi’s disappearance, Iruka-sensei calls her and Naruto to their usual Academy classroom to wait for Sasuke and their jounin teacher. The other squads were united and matched with their new senseis last week, but Team 7 has been waiting to meet for the first time out of respect for Sasuke.

“Do you think he’s okay?” Sakura asks. She might not like the Hokage’s second son very much, but she doesn’t wish him ill.

Naruto shakes his head. “Doubt it,” he says. “It seemed like he was pretty close to Itachi. Kinda looked up to him, yanno?”

Sasuke arrives before their sensei. He takes the seat to Sakura’s left, props his elbows on the desk, and rests his face against his interlaced fingers.

“I’m sorry about your brother,” Sakura says.

“I don’t have a brother,” Sasuke answers, cool and even. “Not anymore.”

She wonders if it’s easy for him, dismissing his own family. He makes it look so simple.

They sit in silence until the door opens, and a tall, masked man walks in. Sakura recognizes him, of course. Hatake Kakashi is known as one of the most deadly shinobi in Konoha. His dark eyes crinkle at the corners, and she thinks he might be smiling beneath his mask, but it’s difficult to tell.

He takes them to the roof of the Academy and asks them to introduce themselves, to discuss their likes and dislikes, their hobbies and dreams for the future. Naruto loves his mother’s cooking and hates how his father is always away on long missions, and he wants to become Hokage.

“All right, next,” Kakashi-sensei says.

Sakura feels oddly nervous, even though she’s known Sasuke and Naruto for years. “I’m Haruno Sakura. I like practicing my jutsu and spending time with friends. My hobbies are reading and playing trivia games, and my dream is to be the strongest kunoichi in Konoha someday.”

“And what do you hate?” Kakashi-sensei asks.

She steals a glance at Sasuke and wonders if she dares to be honest in front of him. “I hate the way the Uchiha run this village.”

Naruto’s mouth falls open and Kakashi’s lazy, heavy-lidded eyes widen, looking suddenly alert.

Sasuke turns to Sakura, frowning, and says, “I’m Uchiha Sasuke, and I don’t like you talking about my clan like that.”

“What are you going to do?” she asks. “Run and tell your father?”

“Okay, enough,” Kakashi says. “Introductions are over.”

As their new sensei explains that their real final test will be tomorrow on the training grounds at five o’clock in the morning, Sasuke stares at her, dark eyes assessing, judging. Maybe she shouldn’t have said that, but the Uchiha are harsh, unjust rulers, and Sakura can’t quite feel sorry for telling the truth.

anonymous asked:

So what are some of your most popular posts? :D

You know, this ask was actually rather timely, because I just recently reached another milestone for my blog!

So I suppose it’d be nice to take a trip down memory lane with some of my most popular posts :D

Now then, to answer your question, I’ll assume that any text post or rant with over 1,000 notes constitutes being popular (because it’s much easier for gif sets and artwork to accumulate notes). So with that in mind, these are my most popular posts, from least to most popular (the notes are obviously only accurate as I type this):

Naruto and Sakura (1,021 notes)

SS’s Unconditional Support of Each Other (1,115 notes)

Even The Roughest Woman Is Tender to the Guy She Loves (1,180 notes)

But yeah, there you go Anon ^_^

  • Ino: Here, Shikamaru. Use this perfume. I bought it especially for you.
  • Shikamaru: I never wear perfume. Sorry, but I have to refuse you on this one.
  • Ino: Idiot! Just do as I say! You asked for a bouquet of special flowers, but all you need is one purple daisy to show her your simplicity. She's not the type of woman to impress with flowers, you already impressed her with your intelligence. And wear that cute shirt Choji and I gave you on your birthday, got it?
  • Shikamaru: Dating is so troublesome...
  • Ino: Just watch your complaining while talking to her! She already knows everything is troublesome for you, so you don't need to remind her that on this special day!
  • Shikamaru: Yes, ma'am!
  • -
  • Temari: Gaara, can I borrow your eyeliner?
  • Gaara: Are you going on a date?
  • Temari: Yes...
  • Gaara: ...
  • .
  • Temari: Kankuro, can I borrow your purple make-up?
  • Kankuro: Are you going on a date?
  • Temari: Yes... How did you figured that out?
  • Kankuro: You never wear make up. Sometimes just a little lipstick when you go to meetings, but never make-up or eyeliner.
  • Temari: Do you think I look pretty in this dress?
  • Kankuro: Don't ask me... You should hurry.
  • -
  • Shikamaru: Ino... How do I ask her on a second date?
  • Ino: You didn't even go on a first date with her yet and you want to ask her on a second one already? Jeesh! Don't be so anxious, you must see how well this one goes first.
  • Shikamaru: I already know I love her. This is just a formality.
  • Ino: You only met her in combat and in formal meetings, you don't know her in private, this is your chance.
  • Shikamaru: I know her better than you think. I know she is a scary woman, she is sassy, rough, arrogant, impetuous, the cruelest kunoichi I've met. But I also know she has that tender side she only shows to the ones she really cares for. Not many know she has a big heart, she is protective and carrying, she loves children, she is sensitive and she has the most beautiful smile. I know I want to spend the rest of my life with her by my side. I know she is the one.
  • Ino: She's a lucky girl.
  • Yosh! Do your best, Shikamaru!
  • Shikamaru: Thank you, Ino! Thank you!
