The Interview is going to be remembered for the controversy that surrounded its release rather than the actual film itself. That doesn’t necessarily mean that it’s bad, though. It’s definitely one of those situations where if you enjoy Seth Rogan’s type of humor then you’ll likely enjoy it. If not, well, this isn’t going to change your mind. For me, that type of humor is beginning to show its age a bit, but it’s the interactions between Franco’s Dave Skylark character and Randall Park’s Kim Jong-Un that make the film fun and worth watching.
