Business Name: Yong’s Oriental Restaurant
I was cooking for my husband and his co-workers on occasion. They kept telling me that I should open a restaurant - so I did. I serve a variety of dishes from around the orient. I attended the Sushi Chef Institute and added sushi to my menu. My original location only had seating for 16 and most of the business was take-out. I outgrew that and now have a formal sit-down restaurant with seating for 60. I have a customer base that stretches to towns and cities up to 100 miles away - even in Canada. I have recently added a smoker with ribs, brisket and pork shoulder. I do an all-you-can-eat buffet on special occasions and have been in business for 10 years now. Things are good.
