The support our chapter has received over the few short days have been incredible. I knew when getting into this sisterhood (and of course the brotherhood as well) that it was something truly special but to see it in action is wonderous. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and thank you for your support through this truly difficult time. Some of you have asked to even go above and beyond and send a card or a message to Shelby’s family. I am truly grateful for this and my chapter is in talks on how best to do that for those of you who wish to do this. A definite way to assist if your chapters feel moved to do so would be to make a donation to the VHL Family Alliance.

Thank you again, beautiful sisters and brothers, for your support. Vita Brevis, Ars Longa.

Tonight was our final chapter meeting.

The last meeting of the founding charter class of the Eta Phi chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta.

I’m just letting that soak in. It has been an incredible, crazy, moving, and inspiring year with these incredible women that I feel so privileged to call my sisters. We have started something incredible on our campus, a legacy that will thrive for so many years… we are the Bettie Locke’s of BU’s campus. I am just so proud to be a Theta and I cannot wait to call this chapter home for three more years.
