essie spring

Essie's Spring Collection is Right On the Money!

Though I’m far from the Wall Street type, Essie’s spring 2012 collection is making me consider a career in finance! Created for the “the beautiful, ambitious woman of action,” these hues are strikingly bold and totally irresistible.

The line’s colors (pictured from left to right) are: Navigate Her, A Crewed Interest, To Buy or Not to Buy, Tour de Finance, Olé Caliente, Orange It’s Obvious!

Starting next month, each bottle will be sold for a wallet-friendly $8. Now if only these pretty polishes could fix the economy!

Spring style pops with playful patterns.

step 1: hydrate with apricot cuticle oil.
step 2: clean then prep nails with an essie base coat.
step 3: apply 2 coats of ‘flowerista’. let dry.
step 4: using a small dotting tool to create five dots - or flower petals - with ‘perennial chic’.
step 5: repeat with ‘garden variety’, creating some overlap for added depth. repeat with ‘blossom dandy’.
step 6: finish each flower with a dot of ‘perennial chic’ or ‘blossom dandy’ in the center.
step 7: shine + seal with an essie top coat.

Loving this beautiful springtime mani by @aliciatnails! Colors are ’flowerista’ (purple), ’blossom dandy’ (light blue), ’garden variety’ (teal) and ’petal pushers’ (gray). All from the new #essiespring2015 collection.
