My legs couldn’t possibly move any faster but I tried anyway.
I couldn’t remember what I was running from, all I knew was that it struck fear in every vein in my body.
“Paul!” I screamed, pushing up the incline that the forest provided.
“Paul!” I screamed again, tears flowing freely down my face.
I kept running, and running but I knew this entity was gaining on me. I felt its presence along my back, felt it’s heavy breathing on my neck.
“Paul!” I screamed one last time before the entity snaked its hand around my throat.
I woke up drenched in sweat. My pajamas sticking to every inch of my body.
“Shit.” I muttered into the empty room.
I grabbed my phone to look at the time.
‘1:22 am.’ I thought.
It was almost time for Paul to get off from patrols and I couldn’t let him see me like this. The man goes out every night looking for vampires for crying out loud, the last thing he needed after yet another long night was coming to see me and me panicking over a nightmare.
I got some fresh clothes and headed to the bathroom to rinse myself from the disgusting amount of sweat the nightmare produced.
When I got out, Paul was climbing through my bedroom window.
“Hey, baby.” he greeted, nearly knocking himself out on the window pane.
“Hey.” I greeted, trying my hardest not to let the terror I just went through show.
“You okay?” he asked, sitting himself at his usual seat along my bedroom wall.
“Yeah, I’m fine. I just haven’t been to sleep yet.” I lied, walking over to him.
I was welcomed by open arms and gladly leaped into them, wrapping my arms around his inferno of a torso.
I was just getting comfortable, finding solace in the presence of Paul and the unusual silence he brought with him tonight.
“Y/N, you’re shaking.” he whispered, taking my hand in his.
It was then I realized that I was in fact shaking, and I couldn’t even stop it.
“Y/N, baby, tell me what’s wrong.” he urged, turning to face me, stroking his thumb over my cheek.
“It was just a dumb ass nightmare.” I answered, my voice coming out too hoarse to sound even remotely convincing.
“Do you want to talk about it?” he asked, pulling me back into him.
“No.” I answered honestly, burying my face deeper into his chest. My tears starting to drench his shirt.
“Okay. Then, we’ll just sit here.” he said, pressing a kiss to my forehead.
“No, Paul, baby you need to sleep. I’ll be fine, it was just a nightmare.” I said, trying to wiggle out from his embrace.
“What I need is for you to be okay. You don’t need worry about me okay, baby? You just let me take care of you. As long as you’re okay? I’ll be perfectly fine.” he said, pressing a gentle yet passionate kiss to my lips.
And that’s the last thing I remember before drifting off into a perfect, dreamless sleep.
You had showered and dressed into new clean clothes, you were sure you had erased any scent of it off you. Of course, that wouldn’t be the only hurdle you would have to face to hide your little escapade from your family.
First was Alice, you had to get around her. So, you met at La Push, where her gift couldn’t see on you on the Reservation.
The second was Edward, you would need to keep your mind calm and quite, and not think about it. But actively trying not to think about it, made it harder.
You might be able to do this. You’ve hidden things from Edward before. You had many years of practice after all.
But years of practice hadn’t helped you today. You had made it three feet in the house before you heard a loud groan of anguish from somewhere inside. Considering Edward could read minds in a couple miles radius, you were impressed you made it to the house first without him knowing, let alone inside. Even if it was three steps.
The next second, Edward was in front of you, your older brother, staring down at you, a dismayed expression on his face.
His voice calm and even. Somehow that made it worse. Your face flushing red. “Butt out.”
Emmett strolled into the room, a light frown on his face, “Whats up?”
Edward looked at you, with a look that said: Should you tell him, or I?
Edward, I am nineteen years old, and I have a right as a goddamn human to make the choice I made. Are you really going to do this to me? Your fired back in your mind. Is this the impression you want to leave me with from Sex? Negative and unhealthy?
His ridged form tensed up, “Y/N, see things from my view -”
“No!” you interjected, “My decision, my right as a human, too. Remember that.”
Walking around him, you made your way upstairs.
“I don’t get it,” Emmett said, looking between you two, “What happened?”
“Our dear little sister had sex, that’s what happened.”
It set off a domino effect.
You whirled around, firing out vicious words.
Emmett let out a loud, shocked ‘WHAT?!’, staring at you in confusion.
(Really, they were going to blow it wide out of proportion.)
Alice and Rose appeared at the foot of the stairs, not mad, more amused. Honestly, they agreed with you. All the men in the house were going to take this too personally.
Jasper looked like a hurt child, “Y/N, I thought we agreed the acceptable age would be a hundred, why …”
In the other room, Esme and Carlisle shared a look. Honestly, their children … ironically happened to act like your parents too, where being too harsh on you.
They at least understood you were an adult to make this decision.
“Guys!” you screamed, “I will take you all out when I turn, so stop treating me like I am a child.”
“Who is it?” Emmett asked, “I want a name, phone number, home address. Does he have a job?”
“Answer the question Y/n.” Jasper and Edward said in union.
“Rosalie back me up, you say you want me to have normal human experiences!”
Rosalie turned on them, sudden filled with indignation, “She’s right. Leave her be. This isn’t any of your business anyway.”
Their eyes flickered between you and Rose and left, no doubt plotting a murder with the information Edward had gathered from your mind.
Alice looked at you, “I’m impressed you got that around me.”
“We’ll, living with Vampires makes you more sneakier then the average person.”
Rosalie linked her arm through yours, going into best friend/ mother mode, “Let’s get away from listening ears and talk.”
You knew Rose, she would be open minded on it all, and it would be nice to talk to someone about it. Alice too.
Requested by anonymous: So the reader and Alec from the Volturi are mates. Alec’s sister hates the reader because she thinks that the reader is stealing her bro. So she uses her powers on the reader. She keeps using her powers till reader is depressed and scared. Reader escapes to the Cullen’s house. Fast forward to when Alec finds her again but gets jealous because she’s happy and singing with jasper and Emmett while cooking. Everything has a happily ever after though!
This is kinda trash but I hope you like it anyways, anon.
“Aro, I have someone I’d like you to meet.” Alec pulled you along behind him.
Aro’s crimson eyes looked up from the novel he was reading, focusing on you. You felt naked under his stare, something about him making you uncomfortable.
His lips stretched into a smile that sent shivers down your spine. He stood up and handed his book to a young woman who was standing next to his chair, waving her away.
“Who’s this, Alec?” He came down the stairs and slowly approached you.
“This is (Y/N).” He placed his hand on your back and guided you closer towards Aro.
“(Y/N)…” He repeated, his eyes scanning over you. “And where did you meet her, Alec?”
“I went out a few months ago to go hunting and on the way back I found her bleeding in the street. She doesn’t know who it was that bit her, but they left her for dead.”
“How terrible. We at least have the decency to finish off our victims.” His eyes flashed to yours, and he must have noticed the hurt you felt from his insensitive comment. He noticed because he grabbed your hands and pulled you towards him. “I’m sorry, dear, how rude of me. Would you mind if I read your past?”
You looked over at Alec, not understanding what Aro meant.
“If he touches your skin, he can see all of the thoughts you’ve ever had and things from your memory.”
You looked back to him in uncertainty, but nodded anyways.
That awful grin spread across his face as he removed his gloves, his hands finding yours again. He stared deep into your eyes and it took all you had not to look away. “My, my…” He whispered after a moment. Your hands fell limp by your sides once he released them. “Thank you. You seem to be an interesting girl.” He turned to Alec. “Have you introduced her to Jane?”
He nodded. “Of course. Although I don’t think she’s been very kind to her.”
“Oh?” Aro tilted his head.
“I haven’t been very kind to whom?” A feminine voice seemed to echo in the large room. The beautiful blonde walked to the center where you were standing with the two men, her heels clicking against the marble floor.
“I’m just telling him the truth, Jane.” Her eyes burned in jealousy as he spoke.
“We want you to accept this sweet girl.” Aro told her, and she seemed to fume even more at his comment.
Her deep red eyes met yours and fear flashed through you. Her threatening gaze held yours and you soon felt a dull ache course through your body. Your breathing escalated and the ache grew into the worst pain you had ever felt. You collapsed onto the floor and your screams filled the air. Alec held you in his arms as he yelled at Jane to stop. You still focused on her eyes as you heard Aro commanding her to stop and Alec continued to yell.
Finally her stare became aloof instead of intense, and the pain stopped. She simply looked at Aro and turned around, heading back through the heavy wooden doors.
“I’m so sorry, (Y/N).” Alec held your cheek and you looked up at him.
You were sitting in one of the chambers as Alec had to tend to some business with other members of the Volturi. As you sat alone, all you could think about was how terrifying your mate’s twin sister was. Even though you cared greatly for Alec, you knew you could not live a life in fear of his jealous sister. She was a more experienced vampire than you and you could end your life easily.
You took a deep breath and quickly slipped out into the night.
You sat and watched Jasper and Emmett with a smile on your face. They were joking around and Emmett sang at the top of his lungs as he flipped a couple of steaks on the grill. You were so lucky to have found them after you escaped from Italy. Their mother figure, Esme, took you into their home in a heartbeat and you would forever be grateful for them. Of course you missed Alec, but this was a better life. A life that didn’t involve you being abused and fearing for your life.
“So why are we cooking again?”
“Edward’s father-in-law, a human by the way, is coming to visit. Gotta play the part.” Jasper smirked at you.
Your body suddenly went rigid upon hearing the voice. Jasper and Emmett looked shocked as they stared at the boy standing behind you.
You slowly turned around and met the familiar eyes of Alec. He looked surprised when he saw that your eyes were no longer red like his, they were gold.
“Oh my god.” You hopped off of the bar stool and hugged him tightly. “I’m sorry. I’m so so sorry.”
“Uhh (Y/N)? Please explain why one of them are here.” Emmett rolled up his sleeves to show that he would be ready to fight if anything happened.
“I never told you why I came here. I was living with Alec’s coven but…I ran away…” You trailed off.
“Why? What did they do to you?” Jasper growled and stepped around the counter but you held up your hand.
“My sister hurt her. Which is something I never intend on doing.” He looked down at you and you melted from his words.
“Alec…I can’t go back with you.” You looked down, feeling ashamed.
“Why? Are you with one of them?” He looked at the two vampires in jealousy.
Emmett smirked and Jasper’s face softened as he laughed at his accusation.
“No, no. They already have mates. I meant I can’t go back because of her. I’m afraid she’ll kill me.”
He looked at you sadly. “I figured that’s why you disappeared. So I told her if she didn’t want you there then I would leave too.”
This surprised you because you knew the two of them were very close. You didn’t quite know how to respond so you waited for him to go on.
“If you don’t want to go back, then I’ll go with you…anywhere.”
“I’m not sure, Alec. The Cullens have taken great care of me. I’d feel guilty just leaving them behind.” You frowned.
“Then we’ll stay in the area.” He grabbed your hand and gave it a squeeze. “(Y/N)…I will do whatever it takes to be with you. If you want to stay here, I’ll stay and just go visit my family when I feel like it. Just please don’t tell me to leave.”
You smiled and hugged him again, pulling back to kiss him sweetly. After a moment, Emmett cleared his throat and you backed away, blushing.
“We’ll be watching you, kid.” Jasper looked at Alec seriously but winked at you.
I hope there weren’t any mistakes because I didn’t have time to proofread because I have class. Oops
“Y/N you know I would if I could, but I can’t.” Seth, my boyfriend, explained for about the thousandth time.
“Seth, why can’t you tell me?!” I asked, getting more irritated with his secrecy.
“It’s not my secret to tell, Y/N!” he said.
“Okay, you’re making no damn sense! If it has something to do with you, it is your damn secret to tell! Come on, Seth.” I begged one final time.
“Y/N, I just can’t.” he said with a sigh.
“I’m done with this shit, Seth. Both you and Leah started keeping some big ass secret that y'all don’t want to tell anybody and so, I’m done.” I said, pushing myself off of the Clearwater’s couch.
“Y/N, please don’t do this to me. I can’t lose you.” Seth pleaded, grabbing my hand.
“We’re not supposed to keep secrets from each other, Seth. I haven’t ever kept anything from you, I expected the same.”
With that, I grabbed my stuff and walked out the door.
I stayed at home all weekend, not doing my traditional Saturday movie with Seth. I didn’t know if we were broken up or just in the middle of an argument or what, but it sucked.
One thing that did give me some happiness is that Seth didn’t give up. He was relentless. For the past two days, he had blown my phone up with texts and even more calls.
I heard a knock on my door while I was getting ready for school Monday morning.
I knew who it was before I got there but my heart still did a little leap when I opened the door and saw him again.
Even though he looked like shit.
“Y/N.” he said, taking me in.
Hell, I probably didn’t look too good either.
See, when I said that I was getting ready for school, I actually meant I was frantically looking for my last pair of black sweatpants and my hair hadn’t been properly combed/brushed in the past three days.
“Seth, its good to see you.” I said honestly.
“You too, baby.” he replied.
“Y/N, I’m ready to tell you.” he said, extending his hand out.
I took it without hesitation.
We hopped in his mom’s car and started back towards the reservation.
Seth led me to a patch of woods not far from Sam and Emily’s place.
He took my hands in his.
“I know this is unfair of me to ask, but please don’t freak out when everything is out in the open.” he laughed, nervously.
“Seth, come on. It can’t me that bad, can it?” I asked, rubbing my thumbs over his knuckles.
“Well…..” he laughed.
“You’re a dog person, right, baby?” he asked, walking away from me.
I looked behind me to check to see if there was anybody to help my poor little Seth, because he had apparently lost it.
“I mean yes, but I don’t see how that has anything to -” I turned back to see a gigantic, sandy colored wolf in front of me.
“Oh, my holy shit!” I screamed.
And I guess the universe thought this was some low budget, horror movie shit because my dumbass literally tripped over my own damn feet.
The wolf didn’t try to pounce or attack or anything. He just looked at me.
Then he started backing up and retreated back into the woods.
I took this time to run back to Emily and Sam’s.
I ran into their house, where all of our friends were.
“Guys, I just saw this big ass wolf out in the woods. It was like, I don’t even fucking know! And, I don’t even know what the hell happened to Seth! I think it might’ve eaten his ass!” I explained, breathlessly.
Just then, Seth came running up to the house.
“Holy shit, Seth! I thought that thing ate you!” I told him as I forced him into the tightest hug I could give.
“Y/N, that’s kinda what I wanted to talk to you about.” he said, shuffling me back to look at me.
He took me out to the porch steps.
“Seth, that big ass wolf might come back.” I said, frantically looking over my shoulder.
“I don’t think it will.” he said, pulling me down to sit with him on the step.
“Baby, that wolf was actually me.” he said, completely serious.
"What?” I asked, I must’ve heard that wrong.
“I’m that wolf. I’m a werewolf or shapeshifter, if you will. All of us are: me, Leah, Paul, Jacob, Jared, Quil, Sam, all of us.“ he tried to explain.
"Seth, baby. What in the actual fuck are you talking about?” I asked, extremely worried about my boyfriend’s mental
Seth, with the help of Leah, explained everything to me and Leah assured me that the wolf today was in fact Seth.
"Holy, shit.” I said, exhausted from today’s event.
“I know it’s a lot to take in and I get if you just need some time or whatever you-,” he started.
“So, you, Seth Clearwater turn into a giant, vampire fighting, wolfie soldier at will?” I interrupted.
“And we’re kinda soulmates,” he laughed.
I sat there, in between the Clearwaters, who were werewolves, in front of a house full of werewolves.
“So, like, are you going let me ride on your back or what?”
Warnings: almost gets into smut, mainly just kissing
Summary: You are spending some quality too me with your boyfriend Jacob, when new events change your plans.
Author’s note: First off! Paragraphing is off right now because my phone is stupid af, but it will be fixed tomorrow evening! hope you enjoy! It would be great for you all to check out my previous posts. Especially my new Jasper fanfic and my call for help with a masterlist. Thank you all!
Life with the Cullen’s hadn’t always been the easiest, but due to recent events things seemed to be more difficult than ever.
You sat upright on the couch in the bright open area of the Cullen household, with a copy of your favorite book placed in your hands.
Your family had all left for a small hunting trip that morning, but you had decided to stay behind on this one.
It was supposed to rain today anyways, and you didn’t feel like getting into that today.
As a result of your families absence you had the place to yourself in complete silence.
You nearly dropped your book to the ground, but your agile body remained in tact as you heard a loud knock at the door. You had walked over to see who might be there. In a half crouch position you peered through the curtains, only to see a a tall, tan, muscular body, dripping wet from the rain that had just began. A figure you could only assume to be the astounding, yet hated, Jacob Black. The same one that you had been able to call your “secret boyfriend” for nearly 3 months,
You opened the door and let him in. “Jacob, what are you doing here. You know our families don’t get along. Why would you think for a second that it would be safe to come here.”
“Billy wanted me to stop by. He didn’t say much, he just wanted to know if Carlisle was out. I volunteered to come over, knowing that it would at least give me a chance to see you.” His arm moved behind your body, placing hand on your back and pulling you closer to him so that he could place a long, passionate kiss upon your lips.
“Well you couldn’t have chosen a better time. As you can tell, my family isn’t home right now.”
“I noticed. Where are they exactly? And how long do I have before I need to head back out?”
“They left about an hour ago for a hunting trip. I doubt they will be back for a few more.”
He smiled at your response, giving you another one of his most loving kisses.
You kissed back as you placed your hand in his chest, which uncommonly was clothed much to your dismay.
You scoffed as you realized that he was still soaked from being outside. “We need to get you dried off.”
“That would be nice.”
You walked him up to the second story of your home, and first into the bathroom where you could grab a towel.
“Take off your clothes.” You demanded.
He coughed, shocked from your previous statement. “I’m sorry, what?”
“Did we not just say we were going to get your dried off? If you hadn’t noticed that won’t work very well, with wet clothes on.”
“Oh, right.” He almost stuttered out. He went to undo each of the buttons on his shirt.
You watched him intently as he did so. Only in the third button you decided to pitch in.
“Let me help you out with that.”
He smiled, his eyes growing wider with each button you touched. You let your fingertips gently trace his muscular torso as you worked your way up.
Once the top button was undone he slid off the shirt and you looked into his eyes.
You leaned down to place a kiss on his lips. You turned away, but he pulled you back for another.
You decided to not pull away from this one.
Instead of you moving, he stood up from his seat and pulled you closer to his body. His unclothed chest against your body. You hands roamed over his abs and up to his perfectly carved jawline.
The kiss intensified with every second.
Only moments later his tongue had passed through your lips as it began to explore inside of your mouth.
Jacobs hands ran down your back, sending a chill up your spine, they landed on your hips as he lifted you up and you wrapped your legs around his waist.
He walked you over to your bedroom. He made his way over to your bed, which wasn’t commonly used, but you sure were happy that you had for this situation.
He laid you down against a few pillows as he hovered above your body. His hands moved down your stomach and he found the hem of your shirt. He played with it between his fingers to tease you until he finally pulled it over your head.
With that being that singular moment that broke your lustful kissing he took the time to speak.
“I didn’t seem quite fair that I was the only one without clothes on, now did it?”
“I don’t know, I enjoyed it quite a lot.”
He chuckled. “Yes, well I’m sure that you did.”
His hands hand now made their way to your jeans. He unzipped them and slid them off of your body.
He worked his way back up and looked deep into your eyes.
“Are you sure that you want this, (y/n)? I would never push you into something…”
You hushed him by pressing a finger to his lips. “I have never wanted anything more, not with anyone, only you Jacob.”
He continued to kiss you passionately after your remark. His mouth finding its way to your neck. He sucked hard on whatever spots he found to please you the most. His hands were roaming all of your body, as did yours to his, as he snaked them under your back to find the clasp of your bra.
Nothing could have ruined this moment for you, except.
“(Y/n)!” Your name was yelled in a deep voice from your doorway.
“Carlisle! Is that Jacob?” The two new voices in the room clearly belonged to your parents.
You rolled off the bed and into the floor. You got redressed as quickly as possible with your vampire speed.
Jacob stood up quickly.
“What are you all doing home so early!” You asked.
You had never seen Carlisle so infuriated before. You had never seen such a look on your mother’s face. A look that was a combination of anger, shock, and utter disappointment. Things that definitely did not mix well.
Carlisle had gotten from the doorway to the opposite wall of your room with Jacob pinned under his arm.
“Mr. Cullen! Please. Just give me a…”
Carlisle cut him off. “You do not deserve anything. You are lucky that you aren’t already dead. That is my daughter in which…” Carlisle stopped his own sentence that time with a look of disgust on his face as he thought about the scenario his daughter was just taking part in.
You had ran over to try to stop him, but Esme had gotten to you too fast. She held you back, but you managed I yell out,“ Carlisle! Listen to me please! Everyone just calm down.”
Even during your words Carlisle had punched Jacob. The result of Carlisles strength and Jacob strong physique left a hole in your wall.
You screamed at the contact.
Jacob fell down to the floor as Carlisle released his hold.
Esme tried to hold you back, but to look of Jacob gave you the strongest desire to free her arms. You ran and dropped to his side. You ran your hands through his hair and examined his face. Thankfully, the collision of Carlisle’s fist and his face only give him a broken nose.
You stood up and angrily said,“ You know it isn’t very often that the doctor is the one causing the injuries.”
Esme followed back before Carlisle could speak. “Young lady, you should not talk like that to us!”
“Young lady? Mother! I’m technically 79!”
“I don’t care how old you are. You are our daughter. Not biologically, but every since you were turned we have taken you under our wing. Your our little girl! You are a Cullen! He is a Black! You are fraternizing with the enemy!” Carlisle spoke next.
“Jacob is not a bad guy! He isn’t like the others.” You fought back.
Jacob stood up from his position on the floor. “With all due respect sir, I would never do anything to hurt your daughter. I love her. I know you all don’t approve just yet, but I would love to talk things through. Anything I can do to gain your trust is worth it.”
You kissed him.
Carlisle groaned. Esme spoke trying to release the tension. “Innocent until proven guilty. We have just the time as well. To answer your previous question (y/n), we had just come home to tell you that we were planning a baseball game for this afternoon. Jacob is welcome to join.”
You smiled. You ran to hug your mother. “Thank you. Thank you.” You repeated.
Esme spoke again. “If he survives tonight then he deserves everything. I doubt he will make it past the girls, just wait until he gets to the boys.”
Carlisle laughed. “Mischievous darling. God, I love the way you think.”
The couple shared a kiss then exited the room.
You held your head and turned to Jacob.
“Up for a game of ball?” You asked with a smile.
You handed him his clothes.
“I would be delighted, if I thought the baseball would be hit with the bat more than I would.”
You laughed. “Don’t worry. We can talk to them. They just have to give you a chance.”
He kissed you. “Your optimism could outshine the rain, but I’m afraid it can’t hold back the entire storm.”
You smiled. What a way he had with words. You would definitely be needing more where that came from later that evening.
