You are not your age,
Nor the size of clothes you wear,
You are not a weight,
Or the colour of your hair.
You are not your name,
Or the dimples in your cheeks,
You are all the books you read,
And all the words you speak,
You are your croaky morning voice,
And the smiles you try to hide,
You’re the sweetness in your laughter,
And every tear you’ve cried,
You’re the songs you sing so loudly,
When you know you’re all alone,
You’re the places that you’ve been to,
And the one that you call home,
You’re the things that you believe in,
And the people that you love,
You’re the photos in your bedroom,
And the future you dream of,
You’re made of so much beauty,
But it seems that you forgot,
When you decided that you were defined,
By all the things you’re not.
tfw 98% of your vocabulary comes from reading, and you have no idea how to pronounce anything but can write out words like “innocuous” without any difficulty and somehow innately know their meanings without having ever looked them up before

When it comes to the broad categories of c█nspiracy theories present in the world today, the idea of a shad█w government that rules the world from behind the scenes is one of the most p█pular. And of these, the one that people most like to pin things on is a group known as the Illuminati. At its base, it’s is a deeply anti-semitic bit of ahist█rical nonsense that makes little rational sense even for a conspiracy theory, but because it creates a framework where every random event in world history is in fact part of a vast overarching plan, it remains quite p█pular.
The Illuminati as an actual historical group was founded in Bavaria in May 1776, as a s█ciety of skeptics and government watchdogs dedicated to opposing mysticism and the overreach of state power. For a time they were quite popular, counting many illustrious nobles and politicians amongst their numbers, until a series of edicts from Bavarian King Theodore outlawed and finally suppressed the group in 1790. Although the Illuminati were only reasonably influential for their time, popular history holds that the group not only survived its suppressi█n, but actually went on to plot and execute the French Revolution from behind the scenes, followed by a series of other political revolutions around the globe.
The modern idea of the Illuminati descends largely from fascist propaganda circulated during the period between WWI and II, put forth by people looking to encourage a war between the European powers and the so-called “degenerate races.” This propaganda pinned the aftereffects of WWI on a conspiracy between Communists, Capitalists, and of course, the Jews, in order to conquer and divide up rule of the Earth in secret. After the end of WWII, these ideas were picked up by fundamentalist Christians and C█nservative extremists in the United States and largely became a story about how those elitist Ivy Leaguers are trying to create a single world government, which is bad because reasons.
At any rate, conspiracy theories about the Illuminati are both popular and wide-spread in modern culture, with proponents arguing that they represent everything from the rise of the Antichrist to an atheist capitalist endgame of slavery and demonic orgies. Everything you can think of is blamed on the Illuminati, from natural disasters to the decor of the Denver International Airport (No, I’m not kidding). Thanks to this popularity, the Illuminated Ones appear juuuuust shy of the top of the Entity family, with some very powerful skills to boot.

Ironmongery (IY-ern-mong-gur-ree) Noun: -A hardware store
From Old English “iren" - iron (the silvery-gray metal that rusts) + monger - from Old English “mangere” merchant, trader, broker - from “mangian" - to traffic, trade - from Proto-Germanic “mangojan” - from Latin “mango” - dealer, trader, slave-dealer.
Used in a sentence: “Oh dear, the credenza appears to have broken; so I’m off to the ironmongery to acquire a new pintle.”

‘It is gov-ern-ment money, kid,’ said Maurice patiently. 'Say it. Gov-ern-ment money.’
'Gov-ern-ment money,’ said the boy obediently.
'Right! And what do governments do with money?’
'They pay soldiers,’ said Maurice. 'They have wars. In fact we’ve prob'ly stopped a lot of wars, by taking the money and putting it where it can’t do any harm. They’d put up stachoos to us, if they thought about it.’

#716 Xerneas (Active Mode): Zer-nee-us? Ex-ern-ee-as? I don’t really know, but what I do know is that this Kalos legendary is one of the most beautiful Pokémon ever created. Xereas changes form from neutral to active when it comes into battle. The active form is dazzling with the glowing horns with rainbow-colored tines. Those colors were fun to detail in setting the beads, and I like the way they came out, but this small pixel art does not do justice to the full design. I had some worries about the structure of this project around Xerneas’s neck because it was so thin compared to the massive horns. Legendaries and starters are easy choices to make next, but do you have a personal favorite that doesn’t get as much love? Tell me about it, and I’ll be sure to make it!
