Take A Hike || Ryan & Eric
With one more tug, Eric finally pulled his hiking boots on, and started lacing up the strings. Never in a million years did he think he’d be in the middle of the wilderness, sitting on an old wooden porch, and going through the list of things they needed to bring along with them on their little trip. He wasn’t much of an outdoors person. Not even when he was a kid. He’d never been on a long walk outside before. So, of course he was bringing a backpack with snacks, water, bandaids, a map of the area and a compass in case they got lost.
Not that he was really expecting them to get lost. Eric wasn’t planning on going very far from their cabin. He’d just wanted to explore a little bit. After all, this was the first time he’d ever been camping. Even though most people probably wouldn’t consider this camping. It was close enough for Eric. When his shoes were tied, Eric stood up and slung a backpack over his shoulder as he called out “Alright, I’m all set. Did you remember to put on sunscreen, Ryan?”
