How come no one ever seems to talk about this part of the game?! Seriously, this is the funniest part! The facial expressions, Oswald’s suggestions getting more and more ridiculous, Mickey getting frustrated.
I know that “twisted” Disney has been a thing lately, but really, all you need to do is play Epic Mickey.
PLUS it has an EXCELLENT storyline, superb visuals, and really obscure references. Like, REALLY obscure. Like, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, The Mad Doctor, E-tickets, and old rides. AND the Clock from the “it’s a small world” ride is a boss battle. HOW CAN YOU NOT LOVE THIS GAME???
Originally first in line to be crowned King of Disney Castle, Oswald the Lucky Rabbit disappeared many years ago under mysterious circumstances. (Read more under the cut if you like! Sorry if I get stuff wrong about anything.)
Watched Walt Before Mickey yesterday with my sister, and became inspired with the scene of Charles Mintz and Walt Disney argument of rights and Money. Kept thinking, what would Oswald think about this?
“I really wish there was a movie based on the game of Epic Mickey, the story of the game was really amazing, the history between Mickey and Oswald is really worthy of a movie and I really believe that Oswald needs to be included in something, after returning to Disney, one would say that they would use him again and treat him as one of Walt’s most important characters after so many years. He doesn’t deserve to be forgotten like this, neither do the other cartoons from the Wasteland.”
