ep: the big bang

Am I the only one who’s absolutely loving Shamy this season? And I mean, not that I never not loved Shamy. Cause I always have, but it feels like it’s been forever since they’ve been this much in agreement with each other.

For the most of these last couple of seasons, Sheldon and Amy have been mostly about… Amy pushing Sheldon and Sheldon resisting. And eventually, when he’d bulge and give in then that’s where the feels would kick in. And that was cute and nice, but I’m glad we’re over that.

Season 4 was fantastic not because they were basically the same character but because the writers spent most of their time convincing us that Sheldon could fall for someone. And he did, even if he didn’t admit it until 4 seasons later.

It was about how intellectually compatible they were and even though back then Amy was just a ‘female Sheldon’, it was really fun and interesting to watch.

According to legend, wherever the Pandorica was taken, throughout its long history, the Centurion would be there, guarding it. He appears as an iconic image in the artwork of many cultures, and there are several documented accounts of his appearances, and his warnings to the many who attempted to open the box before its time. His last recorded appearance was during the London blitz in 1941. The warehouse where the Pandorica was stored was destroyed by incendiary bombs, but the box itself was found the next morning, a safe distance from the blaze. There are eyewitness accounts from the night of the fire of a figure in Roman dress, carrying the box from the flames. Since then, there have been no sightings of the Lone Centurion, and many have speculated that if he ever existed, he perished in the fires of that night, performing one last act of devotion to the box he had pledged to protect for nearly two thousand years.”

I can’t find the Tumblr post for it, so this video will have to do, but to summarize:

Throughout series 5 and 6 of Doctor Who, these black figures could be spotted in the background

We know Moffat plans big story lines ahead of time, and so I wouldn’t put it past him to have had an idea for the Whispermen and Clara’s story as early as series 5 when he took over the show.

They’ve got the black coats:

And maybe Moffat just didn’t know exactly what they would look like yet, so he just showed a black figure instead of a face, but yeah, IT’S POSSIBLE

Those black figures have been spotted throughout series 5 and 6, and if I recall, they show up even after the Silence start to be exterminated in the beginning of series 6, so those figures COULD HAVE BEEN the Whispermen

Just a thought but OH MY GOD WHAT IF
