Fun Factoid: In this episode, the tortilla factory was not originally in the script, but found the location as they were scouting, and ended up making a few adjustments in the dialogue for the scene. The crew had to buy out the factory during the shoot because of the cleanliness restrictions, but they got to keep all the tortillas made for that day. Aaron grabbing the tortilla at the end wasn’t scripted and he wasn’t expecting it to be so hot. The director enjoyed the outtake so much, it was included in the final edit.
Shameless: Season 5, Episode 3: The Two Lisas was the best episode so far this season. It showcased Shameless‘ strengths: a.) heart-felt moments and b.) situations few shows have the gumption to introduce and follow through with.
Saul: “The three of us? We’re the three amigos! All for one, one for all. We don’t need a fourth amigo.“ Walt: “Saul, Mike knows the business. He knows distributors.” Saul: “.He said he was gonna break my legs. And don’t tell me he didn’t mean it, okay? ‘Cause he gave me the dead mackerel eyes. He meant it.” Walt: “Saul, Mike threatened me. He threatened Jesse. He probably threatened someone before breakfast this morning. It’s what he does. Come on. Grow a pair.“ Saul: “Let it be noted that I do this under duress.” Walt: “Duly noted.“
