Saturday afternoon at Burning Man I was tired and hungover from the night before’s festivities. Torn between the comfort of my chair, napping all day and the desire to go out and do something the last full day we were in BRC, Ian and I went out into open playa during one of the heaviest dust storms of the week. You couldn’t see further than a foot in front of your face, so we wandered around until we found familiar art, went through a maze (a real one!) then headed back to camp to prepare for the evening. I had to stop at Star Seed again to take yet another photo of my favorite art installation this year. I wish I’d gotten to climb it, but it was beautiful looking up too.

I can’t wait until I can experience that again. Next year …
