Hamsters are *not* just some worthless pets that can be kept in tiny inadequate cages, with improper toys and be forgotten about. They are fascinating little creatures that require large habitats to thrive (80x50cm/31.5x20 inches being the absolute minimum size needed), they need large wheels to be able to run with their backs completely straight (about 11 inches for a Syrian hamster and 8 inches for a dwarf), having at least 6 inches of bedding is also strongly recommended as they make tunnel systems and burrow. They can travel several miles a night in the wild, they deserve to be able to run in their wheels comfortably and they deserve large cages so they can explore and enjoy themselves - too small cages actually cause issues that a lot of people think are just “normal hamster behavior”, like climbing and chewing on the bars, biting, being cage aggressive, etc. They are trying to tell you they’re stressed but since people don’t know better it’s said to be just normal, but it isn’t!
this is *not*!!! okay or suitable for hamsters
neither is this (they are ground animals so adding height is not at all beneficial when it’s so small)
this is a more suitable and actually a very affordable option!
the ikea detolf is pretty affordable, a great size, and very ideal
When I was a baby witch, it was really difficult for me to understand the Sabbats and the wheel of the year. To help all my baby witches, I made a short summary to make it easier.
🎄 Yule (Date: on the winter solstice, dec. 20-23) 🎄
This is the Sabbat for celebrating rebirth. Many people celebrate it similarly to Christmas, with gift giving, feasting, and wreath making. People will often kiss a consenting partner under a sprig of mistletoe for good luck.
🐏 Imbolc (Date: feb. 2) 🐏
This Sabbat celebrates the return of spring. People make corn dollies and set them in a basket next to a symbol of masculinity. Many Witches will clean out their homes during Imbolc.
🐣 Ostara (Date: on the vernal equinox, Mar. 20-23) 🐣
This Sabbat celebrates the coming time of fertility. Egg decorating is common during this time.
🔥 Beltane (Date: May 1) 🔥
This Sabbat focuses on fertility. Many Pagans choose to conceive children at this time (or just to enjoy themselves sexually with a partner). Beltane festivals are often high energy, with plenty of dancing and bonfires.
☀️ Litha (Date: on the summer solstice, Jun 20-23) ☀️
A Sabbat for celebrating the longest day of the year, as well as for mourning the shortening days after. Some Witches burn bonfires or light candles to represent the Sun.
🌾 Lughnasadh (Date: Aug 1 -> 1 day before my birthday!) 🌾
I love this Sabbat but I’m not able to pronounce this name :). This is the first of the three harvesting Sabbats. There are festivals of grain and bread. People make gingerbread men during this time.
🍁 Mabon (Date: on the autumnal equinox, sep. 20-23) 🍁
This is the second of the three harvesting Sabbats. Witches give thanks to the Earth and the harvest. Celebraters will make and drink wine at this time.
⛄️ Samhain (Date: nov. 1) ⛄️
This is the last of the three harvesting Sabbats. It is also the festival of the dead. The veil is at its thinnest at this time. Witches will sometimes hold a big feast during Samhain.

I like the idea of humans not being the only species with a need to unecessarily bond and form ‘packs’ and whatnot, or the only species to enjoy putting themselves in danger for the adrenaline rush, or the only species to recreationally poison themselves, or even the only species to have parties.
You know what I love, though?
Crowd psychology and the concept of group flow.
I love the idea that humans are the species that is in love with group flow. Sure, any alien can listen to music and enjoy it, maybe even go to concerts in large groups. But humans are the only non-telepathic species where going in a large group enhances the experience simply because you know that dozens or hundreds or even thousands of other people are all getting in the zone with you at the same time for the same reason. Any alien can go to a concert, but they marvel at the sight of hundreds of humans singing along to their favorite artist not because it makes the song objectively better, but because it enhances the experience.
I love the idea of aliens trying to figure out mob psychology, looking at sports fandoms and the riots that happen if a team fails to win a game, and asking themselves and other humans how it gets to that point. Because they can put the same human in front of the same game and get two entirely different results based on whether the human is alone or not. A lone human may break a bottle or curse, but they will likely not do more than that, unless they go online to rant. A human in a group that feels the same way can do much more damage.
I love the idea of aliens trying to figure out the aspect of performative grief for dead celebrities, not understanding that it is not only practice for when a death comes closer to home, but that it is a form of bonding, a call and an echo of “I feel this way too. This person mattered to me too,” across thousands or millions of people’s screens and faces and pens.
I love the idea of aliens taking a look at frat parties and nightclubs and karaoke and being so confused, because they can understand that intoxication might be fun, sometimes, or that singing or dancing with strangers can be fun, but the sheer chaos of an out-of-control college party is terrifying to them. There is nothing here that people will enjoy come the morning, but somehow that doesn’t matter, because in that moment, with those people, the humans are connecting as they sing their drunken songs or eat their terrible food or dance the night away. There is a sense of belonging even in this awful mess, for those who know how to find it.
I love the idea of aliens looking at conventions and wondering how it is that there is such a difference in a person wearing a costume in the privacy of their home and wearing it to a large con, how the endorphin levels soar even when the human is not receiving compliments, just because the convention is an echo chamber of “I love this show, this character, this franchise, this life.”
I love the idea of aliens coming to earth and understanding the meaning of bonds and enjoying music and knowing fiction and surviving our weather and planets and everything and still not being able to understand how a room full of strangers with no telepathy can feel so connected and in-tune simply by sharing an experience. The feelings aren’t always positive ones, but they are there, and there is a comfort in sharing them with endless people you’ve never met.
Anyway, that’s my contribution for Space Australia.
“*giggling* Your teeth” “omg” “*giggle snort* I keep hitting your teeth” “marinETTE” “*scream-laughing* I’M SORRY” “I’m getting braces” “no no no pls chaton I love your teeth hahahaha*snort*”
Adrien whispering things in Marinette’s ear at school and she’s giggling harder and harder (mostly because it tickles) and the rest of the class just looks exhausted
Adrien attempting to teach Marinette Chinese again and trying (and failing) not to laugh at her but she’s so hopeless and she keeps whining and swatting his arm
*bangs pots and pans together* BIG SPOON MARINETTE
Dates at the Agreste mansion. Gabriel is actually present for the meals and Marinette CANNOT act natural, God help her
Adrien casually leeeeeaning on Marinette when he wants to look at what she’s doing
Adrien shoving his entire head under Marinette’s hand because he wants her to play with his hair (he falls asleep after a few minutes)
Marinette making funny faces at Adrien during photo shoots so he’ll laugh more naturally
Mama and Papa Cheng open the trap door just a bit to see how the bebs are doing with their studies, and their desk chairs are pushed up right next to each other’s!!! and they do that cute tag-team swoon (Marinette hears them and screeches at them to go away)
Walking to school together. Holding hands. Doing that arm swing thing but like ridiculous high until they’re trying to windmill it and turning themselves around and Alya and Nino are like “wat r u doing”
Marinette carrying Adrien piggyback and running around the school and they’re both laughing and enjoying themselves and Alya and Nino are like “seriously wat r u doing”
Sneaking out of class to transform during akuma attacks together. But like exaggerated synchronized sneaking with the huge steps and everything
Rubbing each other’s temples when they have headaches
Putting ridiculous clothes on the Ladybug and Chat Noir statue in the park every April Fools Day
Marinette trying Adrien’s rock climbing wall. “You keep going, I’ll keep admiring the view,” says Adrien from down below, causing Marinette to fall.
Okay… I know this is not really my type of content but I always find these interesting to read so I thought I’ll post one myself.
Aries: you can count on them, don’t take things too seriously, get mad at small things, much fun to hang out with, somewhat egoistic, as soon as they find someone more interesting than you they will hang out with them (though, they will not forget about you)
Taurus: I always become extremly good friends with them, so relaxing to hang out with them, weird humour, very determined and stubborn, talk a loooot, in a relationship they need a lot of physical interaction, they make me feel like home, laughs about every little thing, cute laugh
Gemini: fun people to hang out with, their humour is so… unexpected like they say things you would have never thought about, tend to hide their serious feelings/emotions, take the side of the person they want to impress, think too much about how they can impress someone rather than just beeing themselves (even through their personality is way more charming)
Cancer: a little too sensitive for my taste, can get very annoying but they are too cute to be mad at, need a lot of protection, very giggly, great story-tellers (but they tend to tell you the same story over and over again), materialistic, put you first, loves from the bottom of their heart, pretty smart but dumb at the same time
Leo: warmhearted people, try to be funny and cool all the time (but fail eventually lol too cute), buys you a lot of gifts, attention-lovers, likes to meet new people, very vain when it comes to their appearance, very nervous when having tests/exams, naturally intelligent (unfortunately this doesn’t help them much in school), enjoys good food
Virgo: stress themselves way too much, overthink everything, usually very good in school, gets mad and stressed when things don’t work out as they thought they would, sort of a boring personality, they can talk sooooo much, very sensitive (!!!), tend to be too harsh on themselves, high expectations of themselves
Libra: naturally flirty af, cute smile, scared to be alone, talks most of the time about themselves, makes sure everybody is getting enough attention, very lazy, does things in the last minute, usually the one studying for a test/exam the lesson before, clumsy, needs protection, don’t like confrontations/fights, not good at making decisions or being on time
Scorpio: just like libras they talk a lot about themselves, get veeeeery obsessive over things and people, their staring is so intense that it makes me feel uncomfortable, cares a lot about their loved ones, scared to show feelings, makes very weird but cute compliments you would have never gotten from anybody else, sporty, try to flirt but that’s just a little… cringe-worthy lol
Sagittarius: now… these people are the absolut oppostie of me, always awkward when we hang out together, not the most loyal boyfriend/girlfriend/friend, always wearing top outfits, always looking good, cares a lot about their hair or in general their appearance, not the best in school, party every weekend, straightforward
Capricorn: makes sooo many cute compliments, I have this weird attraction towards them, extremly sexy, intelligent, can’t sit still, they are very weird people, humour consists of sarcasm and dad jokes and can be very dry, know way too well how to seduce people, not the best in expressing their feeling but they try, ABSOLUT SWEETHEARTS, gets shy when being complimented, very sensitive, never forget their mistakes and always regret them (no matter how small it was)
Aquarius: makes me feel like home at the very first meeting, either pretty chill or being pissed off at silly things, don’t like stubborn people, tendency to be very religious, very good friends, will do everything for and with you, works hard to reach their goals, plans everything weeks/months before
Pisces: I either like or can’t stand them, actually quite egoistic, not the best in using the right words, sensitive af 24/7, dark humour, cries a lot, scared to hurt someones feelings (even if they don’t like the person), avoids confrontations/fights by not saying what’s really on their mind, in a fight they will say the most hurtful things (and will regret them their whole life), using the victim-card way too often, most of the time smiling

Summer is coming up and just a few reminders of things you don’t need to comment on if someone is wearing less clothing, e.g vests, shorts, swimwear:
binders/bra straps showing through thin/sleeveless tops
whether they’re ‘thin enough’ or ‘too skinny’ to wear that outfit (no such things - anyone can wear what they want to)
body hair, regardless of where on the body it is
sweat patches - it’s summer, it’s hot, people sweat
People are likely already aware of all of those things and don’t need your opinion or commentary. Summer can be hard for people who are insecure about or shamed for their bodies. They’re just trying to keep cool and enjoy themselves like everyone else. Don’t make it harder for them by pointing things out things that might make them feel self-conscious.

Since Sonic Forces has character customization, I just wanna say this:
Let kids make “cringey” sonic OCs!!!! Let them try and make something new based off a series they love, no matter how much you may not like it!!! They should be able to make their characters and have fun with them!!
