Have you heard of the movie Me Before You? I just watched it and it was a sad movie about a guy that gets paralyzed and he wants to end his life (and he does spoiler alert with euthanasia). However, this was against the wishes of all his families and his love interest/caretaker. Now in true fashion, it seems sjws have gotten it and are saying that the movie is saying that all disabled people should kill themselves and are burdens. I get wanting more happy ending with such movies but come on...
But that’s ridiculous. In fairness, I’ve seen “SJWs” and Right-wingers get up in arms over euthanasia. It’s such a morally grey area. Nobody decent would ever want anyone to feel pressured into euthanasia. But at the same time, if you’re dying, there’s no mistake that you’re dying, there’s no cure to what you have, your death is inevitable and you want to end your life on your terms, then how is it right to deny that person that choice?
I’m so torn, to be honest.
